    Business Response

    Date: 09/02/2023

The complaint has been resolved and the customer has said they want to remove he posting.

    See Below

I tried to remove it as soon as I got your resolution email.  Bbb would not let me. As far as I'm concerned, this issue has been resolved.  I'll go back on the bbb website and see if I can close out the complaint.  I think you will have to send them a note saying the issue has been resolved.  Then they will ask me if I am satisfied with the result, and I will reply that I'm satisfied

***,I would respectfully ask that you would remove your complaint files with our local BBB of West ********.

I have included the email chain with our development team asking for this to be resolved in the systems back end to try and prevent accounting and tax issues at the end of the month.
The problem was not ignored but was being looked at for the root problem.

Although this problem took longer to resolve than you had hoped for you can see the issue was only resolved yesterday with the development team and was not being ignored, In hindsight, maybe I should have driven to Kalamazoo to pay you the forty cents you were overcharged while the problem was being resolved.

I hope you'll see from this that you were not being ignored and we did take action to fix the problem that you brought to our attention.

Can we please increase the importance of this ticket?

We have customers being charged incorrectly, and that makes the company look bad as we have to address customers concerns about the wrong amount being charged and invoiced.
This also disrupts the month end tax submission and accounting.

Subject: RE: Your Allparts Equipment and Accessories order confirmation

***, I am sorry about the delay on this.
This is completely my fault, I thought this was resolved in the accounting department as I had forwarded this email to them but found the email in my drafts.

We were advised the problem has been resolved on the website for taxing purposes.
The site was upgraded on August 7th, 2023, at which time a calculation rule was formatted incorrectly for ******** Sales Tax.

Im sorry you werent told about the delay in the refund of the forty cents that needed to be issued until they were able to map this in the accounting system to the correct coding.

I am heading to accounting now to verify that the refund is complete.
Typically this refund will take between a few days to post to your account.
    Thank You:
