    I moved in here at the end of march when my girlfriend had or second child. When i first moved in i forgot to switch the power into my name and a few weeks ago it got cut off. So i assumed they cut it off through dte. I transferred it into my name & my power never came back on. The following day i put in a power outage through dte and they said there was power to my meter it wasn’t them. I called the 24hr maintenance because it was a sunday told them the situation and said dte said it had to be on them, i never gave him my name or my apartment number. He just said he’d call me back & 5 minutes later my power was back on. I lost over $500 in food, my 4 month old & 4 year old were having to sit in cold baths to cool down because its summer and we live on the third floor & the office lady *** said she can give us money to our rent for the days we were without & money for the food we lost but what was that not even 200 for rent & 100 for my $500 worth of food that was gone & the money i had to spend on food for the days we couldn’t cook in our home?? I have phone recordings of it all. I have screenshots of the phone calls & the emails from dte. & we have had roaches since moving in and pest control came and we had to leave our house for 4 hrs came back and I don’t believe they did anything. There was no smell of chemicals in my house. It still smelled like the food i made for my daughter hours before leaving.

    I spoke with Mr. *********'s girlfriend after this issue with the loss of power occurred and told her that renters' insurance should cover all personal belongings/food but that I would credit their rent for the days they were without power as well as an additional $100 toward food and she agreed to this.  Their unit was treated for roaches on 7/5/23 because the neighbor in #*** told me that they had roaches.  After the treatment neither #*** nor #*** called back to report any further problems so that is why they have not been re-treated.  If they are experiencing an issue, I would be more than happy to put them on the schedule for treatment.  I have spoken with both ****** and his girlfriend several times after this, including today, 9/7/23, and neither of them said anything about still having an issue with roaches.  Also please note that Mr. ******** has not paid rent or escrowed rent since 6/6/23 and currently Mr. ********* owes Hidden Trail Apartments $3671.01.  Hidden Trail Apartments received judgment from the Monroe County Court for possession of the unit on 8/28/23.

    I am rejecting this response because:

    Its not allowing me to upload my pictures. But they are now not accepting our rent help because they are mad we reached out because of the living circumstances. They illegally cut our power snd refunded 180 to our account. As you can see in the ledger. Days prior we went shopping and had over $500 worth of food gone so they credited $100 to our account that was already behind and going up $5 a day did nothing and she knew that. The lady in the office is very rude and unprofessional. I have video recordings of every conversation with her after our power went out. On friday 9/8/23 she said we could make the payment up until the day it told us to be out. I went down and got our ledger for my caseworker and i came home and they responded to the bbb email. Then days later they lied and said they received the judgement &as of 9/12/23 they have not nor has the court house cause they reached out twice for proof of service and they have not sent it in because they have not served us. Yes they sent pest control one time. My bestfriend called the same morning we called because they live next door when i woke up we spoke with ***** about it also & she said they were gonna get pest control in before it “became a problem” we had to take everything apart in our house in preparation of pest control coming & days prior to them “spraying” our house we were still finding live bugs in our house when they said we should only find dead ones. Prior to returning after pest control came there was NO smell in my house of chemicals. There wasn’t one window in here for it to air out  so they came in our home and had us leave for 4 hrs to do nothing. But we were gonna get charged 75 for not complying so that is why we haven’t reached out and why we have been trying to handle it ourselves  because it wasnt handled properly the first time. & you guys did the same thing to my manager who works here and he had to go through it for months and i cant put me or my children through that because they cant find a proper company to handle what needs to be handled. All in all this company is legally running a scam operation and is slowly but surely ruining everybodys credit who moves in here
