    I had the pleasure of communicating with some very kind people at JF during the planning phase of ordering our first reptile, and out of respect to these individuals I want to acknowledge that there are good people who work for the company. That being said, I reached out to ask for guidance on what care measures we could take when the animal arrived looking and behaving strangely and I was forwarded to the reptile department. I answered their questions and was repeatedly told to give it time, not that anything we were doing was wrong. Several weeks later and the animal was still dull colored, lethargic, not shedding, etc which they brushed off as normal. The official guarantee Joshs Frogs offers on their website, should an animal arrive in poor condition, is If the animals are not perfect at the end of 14 days, a refund or replacement will be sent. I respectfully pointed out that more than enough time had passed for the animal to have perked up under normal conditions and that while of course I wasnt going to give up on the animal, I was well within the criteria for a refund per their guarantee. An unnamed individual in the reptile department responded that they would necessitate the animal to DIE to provide a refund. I was perplexed, does not perfect mean dead? They even offered that *** communicated consistently, all the while Ive provided photo proofs and every bit of info they asked for and often times repeatedly. In short, I would like to clarify this: repeatedly asking customers the same questions and always telling them to just wait longer, then making up exemptions to your own guarantee when somebody requests it to be honored is a fast track to losing them. If **** or somebody else in a position of authority at JF reads this and is open to making things right, please see my respectful email correspondences showing an honest effort to find resolution across the board. Ill truly be happy to come back for my pet related needs with no hard feelings.

    I do not understand all the bad reviews, but I have made multiple orders through Josh's Frogs and have yet to be disappointed AT ALL. The quality of dry goods and live animals is incredible, and their customer service is fantastic. I ordered a hide for my Nicaraguan Dwarf boa that came cracked/ chipped. I sent them a message immediately with pictures of the damage and the box it was shipped in, and they got back to me immediately on Monday, having already shipped out a replacement hassle and cost-free. I now have two bioactive enclosures, one for my boa and one for my new tarantula I purchased from them, both with the vast majority of supplies sourced from their business. I have recommended their business to many people. If you encounter an issue, reach out to them first before smearing their business name. Only after giving a business a fair amount of time to fix your issue should you leave a bad review in my opinion. Give them a chance to fix the issue!

    I paid for two day shipping which of coarse was extra. I order at 10:43am Friday which is before there 12/00pm cut off. I get a message later that evening saying my package has left the facility and is on its way. Monday I tried to call all day because when I looked up tracking number it was saying the label had been created but fed ex never received. I could never get a hold of anyone. I proceeded to get on ******** and said a message. About ten mins later I get a text from fed ex saying I got a package on the way. They didn't send it out until after 7:00pm! Now it's showing I won't receive it until Wednesday. I paid extra for a reason! Yet to hear anything from anyone! This is my first order and this will be my last!
