      Genisys financed my car back in 2022 I had the car for about 6 months and it was stolen. They took me through so much along with the dealer for payments. I made them aware the day of the car being stolen that it was taken and Im sure they were aware of how lengthy the process for insurance and gap pay etc goes. I spoke with a few agents through out the process where all but one were very very rude and hackled me for money knowing I was waiting on the gap payment and the dealer process. After the car was paid off and I only owed for the tax they stopped calling me like they were doing before and just the remaining balance to a law office. I didnt want to pay them any money until the car was paid for but once it was paid for they sent it to collections immediately. How do you try to *** me for money instead of discussing a payment plan with me that I mentioned I wanted to do once everything was taking care of. I also was not offered any payment plan options prior to. Where was the empathy and ***** for time to pay. I never wish a car being stolen on anyone because it took me several months to get everything in order but to be sure and the car was just paid off is absurd. First the customer service was so rude spoke to one lady who told me I shouldnt have answered my phone if I could not talk etc then now being ***d.

      They allow thieves to withdraw money out of your account and do nothing about it! Even when I alerted them after seeing a fraudulent pending $500 withdrawal. They said I would have to wait til the money comes out and then file a claim. After 3 trips to the credit union and **************************************************** my account. They do not care about your security of savings but they do support easy access for thieves.

      ****** at *********** and, ***** at ************ by phone were extremely personable, informative, knowledgeable, patient and kind. I have been with Genisys double-digit years and in all that time, whichever branch I have gone into for service, the staff are welcoming, upbeat, knowledgeable and kind. Thank you!

      I had a MI savings loan, I paid off the loan in full from our last statement. Three months later they say I owe more money. Not one person could give the same reason on why it was owed. One said it was interest incurred, the other said it was part of the loan. We've not gotten a statement since we paid it off. And months later we got another statement saying we owe a tiny amount of money. Their customer service is atrocious, and their managers must not be managing well enough to solve issues. As this is not about the money anymore, because it is easily payable (minus them locking us out of our **** pay option) it's about the principle of not being up front and transparent about their charges when I pay off my full loan amount. Unbelievable, I'm glad to soon be done with this credit union and good riddance. They won't be getting any of our money or buisness after this rediclious ordeal is over with.
