      Unkept promises...one appraisal out of eight was received. Several calls and got the same run-around nonsense from customer service. This has been going on since March. Contacting artists because your customer service is horrible. Every artwork that was purchased as stated the writing appraisal comes free. Paperwork proving that was sent to customer service, but all I received was pleasant lip service, it's now August no appraisals. Cruise people don't buy...horrible customer service. Spending thousands of dollars with Park West was not worth it!

      I received two **************** after two weeks. Its been 11 weeks and I havent received my final piece. I havent heard anything from them either. My online auction reps sure do call and text me back though..

      While on a cruise, I attended multiple art talks and three auctions. The staff was very helpful and friendly, but a mistake was made on our invoice. We purchased one of the "Mystery" pieces, and were told that for an additional fee, we could have them frame and ship it. They raised the price of the piece over $300 dollars but did not change their coding to show it should be framed. I was shocked when it arrived in a tube. I was already in email communication with someone in customer service, because I was given an invalid tracking number, and as soon as it arrived I explained that there had been a mistake. I never heard from them again. I tried calling customer service and was told that it was coded as unframed and "all sales are final." When I explained that the price had been inflated by over $300 dollars to cover framing that did not happen, I was told that they had no way of knowing what the price was before without talking to sales, which they were not willing to do. The attitude was "too bad for you." When I asked to speak with a manager, they said there was no one available. When I asked to have a manager call me back, I was told it could take up to two days. So far, the rest of our art has arrived as we expected, and we are very happy with it, but difficulties in trying to resolve this error has soured us on Park West. My parents also purchased art on the cruise and discovered that is was charged to the wrong person. It took them 8 phone calls to get that resolved and were hung up on once.

      A manager reached out to me the next day with multiple options on resolving the issue and we are well on our way to a happy ending for both sides. It seems that the impression I received from the first two customer service agents, did not accurately represent the company as a whole. They were more than willing, they were eager to work with me to get this resolved. It is going to take some time, which is understandable and expected. If I could raise the number of stars given, I would. I have called again and the agents I spoke with were helpful, professional, and pleasant. To err is human and we all make mistakes, how we handle them is what we are judged by. Park West has done a great job and earned five stars.

      I have received defective art that should have been caught with a simple inspection, their appraisals are generated automatically when someone punches in the item number, and wiser of all, they have no clue how to properly complete shipping documentation for cross-border delivery, resulting in the customer having to spend hours with the shippi g company and customs to sort out the mess. Some mistakes can be forgivable, but repeated mistakes with no intent on their part to take ownership and do what's right makes this a company I will recommend everyone avoid. How they have been able to be around and recognizes as a global leader in art is beyond me.

      I am troubled by this response I spoke with and emailed customer service ona y occasions and even emailed the *** to find a solution before writing this review which in my mind is a last resort. It is interesting that the person who called me after this review was posted was the same customer service manager I spoke with about one month earlier. She said she didn't remember talking to me and said there were no notes of our intearction, suggesting I spoke with someone else however, she was very quick to offer exactly what I suggested as an acceptable good faith resolution a month prior, in exchange for me removing my review. It's unfortunate that this business only took this seriously after this review as all the aggrevation and loss of my business could have been easily avoided if they did the right thing sooner. As far as me not accepting their proposal is concerned, I didn't accept it as they were clearly offeringe **** money and I have more integrity than that. So I chose to leave this review here as a warning to all vs putting a couple of dollars in my pocket.
