      In January I ordered "Light Breeze" by *********************. I received an email from Park West on 2/17/2022 that it was being framed. I never received it. Numerous phone calls to them since then have only revealed that the painting was damaged, that it was being re-framed, and just recently (today, 10/10/2022), that is in on permanent back-order. To make it more interesting, my mother-in-law ordered the exact same painting in February, after I did, and she received hers within weeks. They NEVER relayed further information to me about my *************** the initial framing notification email. I only got what information I did by reaching out to them after waiting for weeks/months to hear something each time. I will NEVER buy from these people again, and I wish I had not to begin with.

      We are not "working on a resolution". I was offered three choices: a refund, an exchange, or credit. That's all good but does not excuse or make up for the fact that you conducted business in a poor manner with a SEVERE lack of communication and no offer of compensation. I ordered this in JANUARY. I was NEVER told that there was a problem after recieving the standard email that it was being framed. Your apology is useless without action or even a promise to do better.

      I have been a customer of Park West for years and have purchased a lot of original art from them and have been a top end VIP client. On a January cruise I purchased a few items including a small **** original acrylic statue which was on the ship. Since it was a one-of-a-kind original, they were going to have it taken off the ship and mailed to me. After several months I still had not received it but I did get other items I bought. When I asked where it was I got no answer and then was told it was with the framers (its a statue so no frame) and later quality control. After several months of this I demanded to speak to a senior customer support person. After 5 months they admitted that the piece may have been damaged but were not sure but they were checking to see if they had a similar piece. I keep after them but never heard anything more other than getting the bogus it's at the framers response again. Finally a box showed up but it was not my statue. It was a different statue by **** of a similar style but not what I wanted. At no time had ********* verified that my piece was damaged or lost or notified me that they wanted to make a substitute and get my approval. If they had just said your piece was damaged/lost and we can cancel the order or here are some others pieces we can offer in its place that would have been fine. Instead they strung me along for 8 months and then without asking tried to substitute a different piece. Worst customer service ever.

      My first experience with *** was on a Carnival cruise with my daughter in April 2023. Prior to that, I had never attended an auction on a cruise or on land. We had a wonderful experience, and the auctioneer and staff were friendly and fun. I won for being the "most excitable" in the crowd. The process of completing my order was effortless and they took their time to make sure I got what I wanted. The next day I remembered I won a piece of art, but they forgot to give it to me. When I reminded them, they apologized profusely and added a second piece of art for their mistake. I got seven pieces of art on that trip. They explained the refund/exchange policy and how long it would take to ship my pieces. Once my pieces shipped, there was an issue with delivery ( not on the *** end) and I didn't get my package. I called the reps at *** and they assured me they would send me another painting. I got all my paintings with appraisals in the timeframe they indicated. My second experience with them was at ************* in September 2023, where we received some AMAZING treatment. The auction was no pressure and we ended up purchasing more art. I will attend another auction (cruise or land) and will more than likely purchase more art from them.

      I had purchased art on a cruise in January 2022 and when I received it, the picture was damaged. I returned the picture and they said I would get a new one since the one that was shipped back was too damaged and could not be fixed. I am still waiting for the picture. I have called every month and the excuse is that ********* is waiting for the artist to send the picture. I went on-line to the artist's gallery and there are pictures on his gallery including the one I purchased. I also purchased one in early July on a cruise for my daugher's present and am still waiting on this one also. This one is also is awaiting shipment from the artist. I have called monthly and still get the same excuse. I called today and was told by the customer service agent that she would get an answer since the supervisors were working on this. An e-mail to the customer service manager did not get answered in September. I have been a regular customer of Park West until now. I am skeptical of buying any more art from them.

      Where to start? We recently took a Royal Caribbean cruise to ******. Ive purchased from Park West for nearly ten (10) years without incident. Apparently their commitment to customer service has radically changed. Three (3) days after purchasing art on the trip and returning home, I realized I really do not have room for all the pieces I purchased. Their policy had always been 50 days cancel and 50 months exchange. Not anymore! When I called (******) and asked they not send two (2) of the pieces, I was told future bid credit or exchange. To me, neither is a valid option. I then emailed back and forth for several days making the same request. Same response (from *******). Three (3) business days later I got notice (from ***** and Park West) the requested items were being shipped. Really!?!? To me, this was a simple paperwork request (I was told the invoice wasnt in the system when I first contacted them). Apparently my request to escalate this situation is going nowhere. Dont bother unless you are POSITIVE you want the piece and have room. No joy dealing with this company.

      Ive been ******* clear on this issue-I do not want an exchange or a future bid credit. Once I made my request, **** weeks for delivery became mere days. Your response made me very uncomfortable as it appeared your company was trying to do anything possible to not work with me. Why has is this situation become so ridiculous? I have been a good customer for years. Please, I am asking again, put an end to this and do not shop the two (2) requested pieces and remove the charges from my account.

      Very disappointing! Decided to give the auction a try on a cruise. We cruise frequently but always just walk through the gallery. Purchased 2 *********************** pieces and specifically asked is THIS the piece well receive (they were numbered). I took a pic with the SOLD sign and what showed up, after calling 10 weeks in) was not the exact piece. Twelve weeks later, I called PW again about the 2nd piece. I only receive email about auctions and drawingsnever 1 email about my paid order. The representative shared that she sent a note about the status and that I should receive an email when in framing. 12 weeks laternever a single email about either piece but I should trust 1 will show up. Why 12+ weeks and no communication about my paid pieces, only about other than offers. Never again!

      Ill update this review when that happens. Based on other reviews my experience is not an isolated incident. Hoping the piece is better than the experience and is the quality of the piece that was on display, that I thought I was paying for.

      I recently went to an art auction on Royal Caribbean. The auction was fun. Auction staff raffled off art credits, and I had won 2 of them. When it came time to pay he said he he already applied them or he could not apply them, as the art could not be adjusted lower. I had won a guess the weight competition and they did not tell me what the value of the art credit was to apply to my purchase. I also did not see a breakdown of any credits applied. I dont know why they would be given if they can not be applied or they wont be applied. I was overall not happy with whom I purchased from, due to them appearing annoyed with questions when discussing the price or other art one on one.

      The absolute worst experience ever! Do not purchase anything from this company ever! I purchased an original painting for several thousand dollars on a cruise in April/May 2022. It is now Sept., 2022 and I still have not received it. All they had to do was wrap it and ship it. Ever time I call or email them, it's the same response: it being processed. Since Amazon can do orders expediently, then perhaps Park West should only sell their art work there. At least a client would get their purchase in a week or less. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!

      I don't know where to begin. While on a Holland Cruise, I really wanted to attend the art auction. They had one piece I was truly interested in. The auctioneer was very cordial and brought the audience in during the presentations. We were handed out paddles. Before the auction began, the auctioneer stated that there will be no shipping charges and once the art is received you can return without question. While still on the ship, I was reviewing my invoice and noticed $393 worth of shipping charges. I was really upset. My friend who attended the auction with me was stunned because she heard the same thing. I went to the art gallery on board and tried to get them to remove the shipping charge which they responded to me, "We have to charge a shipping cost. How do you think we send the art?" I told him what an underhanded way to operate. He proceeded to give me a bottle of wine. He wouldn't budge on the shipping. Weeks went by and I called to ask about the art. They said they do not have any idea when the art will be dispatched. I finally received the art. I really loved the one painting I purchased but wasn't pleased with the other piece. At the time of purchase, I thought it would compliment my home. It does not. I emailed customer service and received a response that they cannot take the art back and no refund can be made. I argued with them stating that is not what the auctioneer told us on board the ship. I was told that this was written on the paddles handed out. If I recall, there was nothing written on the paddles and no one ever made mention of the return policy. I now have this painting that I paid $490 including shipping and I don't want it and I am now told I cannot return it for a refund. They should not have mentioned that while on board the ship. Of course, they said they would check with the ship and that won't do me any good since I know the ship would agree with them. I am not making this stuff up.

      I will exchange the art but do not want to be responsible for any shipping charges. This was the worst experience I ever had. The customer service for Park West is terrible and almost felt like I was bullied with the tone of the emails. I am so disappointed. I would never have challenged this if I didn't hear what I heard on the ship. I did love one piece of art I purchased. Not being able to return the art for a refund is ridiculous. I would like someone to show what options I have in to exchange the work and again, do not want to be responsible for return shipping charges.

      I guess Im in the minority on this site that had good experiences with Park West. I have purchased on several occasions as has my daughters and I have 4-5pieces in my home I enjoy. My biggest surprise was the quality framing that was done on them. Several were a bit late but it could be the mail- patience was rewarded with the excellent framing and how careful the larger pieces were packaged. And I appreciate the appropriate paperwork accompanying them.
