      Mortgage through this place, can't really call it a business because I have NEVER seen a business where no one knows what is going on. House burned down June 5th. I paid off the payoff quote but would not accept it. Finally got a lawyer and got all the paperwork required. Still waiting for payoff papers, deed and STILL getting collection calls and statements saying I am behind in payments when they got a check in June. Should I see my lawyer again???

      Wasted time and *********************** is perhaps the most incompetent loan officer that I have ever had to deal with. It would seem that 500k in assets and a monthly income of $5600k is not enough to secure a loan of 20k.

      Flagstar purchased my loan and have 2 data breaches since. To get information on the latest breach is next to impossible. Phone calls were not returned. Emails not replied to. Finally, after about 2 months I missed a call, but they left a voicemail with a case number and phone number to call. The number was their customer service number. After going through the menu the lady that answered could not find a case with the number provided. After 30 minutes of on hold I was connected to a supervisor with zero listening skills. A complete waste of my time. This company has no regard for your personal information and terrible customer service. run from this bank if you can, run far, run fast.

      Worst ever. I cant explained the trauma this company subjected me to for a loan modification. It took over a year and a half to get OUT of forbearance and Im still waiting for the final paperwork. Once I get that, Im refinancing and running as far away from this company as possible. Graham ******** one of their specialists hung up on me twice when I called in Thursday when I asked him to read me the notes he was leaving with regard to my call.

      This is the worst mortgage company ever. Ive been with 5 different mortgage companies throughout my life and this one is zero stars. My escrow went up. Ok I understand. My June payment increased and I had paid the original amount which was less. Flagstar puts this June payment in a suspense account. I logged on and saw that my payment was not applied and it showed as being late with a late fee. There was an escrow shortage and a monthly shortage around 2 thousand dollars. Fine I paid it thinking all the shortage was paid, my monthly mortgage should go back to normal. Nope. July comes around, they throw my payment in suspense again. Not enough. Charge me another late fee. They apply my escrow payment to the monthly mortgage, and put my July payment in suspense again. Now theres probably 2 monthly mortgage totaling around 3 thousand sitting in suspense. I call and pay another 400 dollars. The lady I spoke with said she wrote down notes, everything should be applied correctly and to check in 3 days. When I checked, nothing was right. My monthly payments didnt go back to normal. I called, and the 3rd lady I spoke with said oh they applied your payment to the principal. She will clear it up and have someone call me for an update. So as of right now, I dont know how much Im to pay for the August payment. The people working for this company doesnt know what they are doing, and us, as the consumer, just keeps paying the late fees because this company cant seem to apply the payments correctly.

      I received a letter stating that I needed to submit proof of my insurance. I did that. I kept get more letters after that so I called to figure out what the problem was and they told me it was a different insurance document than what the letters described. I got that from my HOA and uploaded it. They still charged me $600+ for not having insurance. I've now spent 15+ hours working on this and have called 7+ times trying to get it corrected. I've had three people over the last four months tell me "just wait a few weeks and the charge will be taken off" and it is still there. I would give negative stars if I could.
