I purchased a beautiful king size wood bed FRAME and was very happy with my purchase. A year later the paint started to fade. I called the store not thinking it was going to be a problem. I was told that since it's been a year there was nothing they could do. COME ON! The frame was over $3000. It shouldn't be fading after only 1 year. I also purchased a custom recliner. The wrong recliner was delivered with the stench of the delivery driver's sweat drenching and sinking into the chair and the store refused to pick the recliner back up until they realized that it was the wrong recliner. Meanwhile the stench from the chair smelled up my whole second floor. I was treated like trash. I thought that I was buying from the best. I will never buy from this company again

I purchased a beautiful dinning set last year. Had a great purchase experience at the store. Great costumer service at the store! When the furniture was delivered, 4 out of the 6 chairs and the top and base table that I purchased were defective. After 7 visits the 4 chairs were finally replaced (each visit they brought all the replacement chairs, but some of them were defective also!). After 4 months they brought a new top and base table, but they were also defective. After attempting to replace the top table the first 4 times, the 4th time it was noted that the fastener holes in the top table were almost 2 In off location. This moth (October) along, Gardner White attempted to deliver a new top table 6 times!! It has been over a year, and I cannot conclude this transaction (over 15 visits!). Remember that my wife or myself have to make the arrangements to take time off for each delivery. As a Process Engineer, this tells me that one or more processes lack of basic structure. This incident should have already raised a red flag to senior management. Not sure if the process has escalation steps. If it does, is failing every step.

I bought a reclining couch in September of last year. I paid extra for an extended warranty. The first couch they sent almost two months later in November was a floor model that had a broken back. We call and they sent someone out about a week later. He's the one that told us it was a floor model. It was replaced in about a week. The new one broke also in May of this year. We contacted them and it took until July for them to get back to us to set up an appointment to have a tech come out. It was almost 3 weeks later that the tech came out. He told us the frame was broke, the metal was bent and the spring had come apart. He ordered parts. Told us to call when they came in. We have not received any parts, nor has anyone contacted us.

I order furniture August 7, 2022, with a promised delivery date of August 22, 2022. This purchase is based on a line of credit. The furniture was never delivered, I called Gardner-White to inquire about my purchase and was informed that my purchase was deleted due to non-payment. I informed the **************** Representative Named Cree that I opened a line of credit. She confirmed and place the order with a promised delivery date at the end of September. Friday, September 16, 2020. **** called to inform me the furniture is in stock and could be delivered Saturday, Sept. 17th. to which I informed her that I already had plans. She was very rude when she told me that I would have to wait for the furniture to come back in stock. I had to ask if they delivered on Sunday and with an annoyance in her voice she said yes. I was asking question regarding the deliver process and she was very short with me. She ended the call abruptly. When I called the delivery drivers arrived they informed me that they did not have the table, they were only delivering the chairs. They then instructed me to contact my sales person. I called Gardner White and asked for a manager I was intructed that no manager was available. I explained the issued and was Transferred to Cree who was once again very rude, Then ***************** who identified himself a manage came to the phone and did not do anything except take my name and number. I also spoke to ******* who identified herself as an office manager, when I asked for her last name she said "I don't have to give you my last name. Each time I attempted to talk, she talked over me. I asked her who was her manager she said she did not have one. She also informed me that she did not have to do anything for me. *****************, Cree and Monigue, are rude, dismissive, unprofessional. They are more concerned with escalating and antagonized their guest rather they deesclating and be solution focused. I have an inquiry on my credit report and no furniture.

Purchased a king sized bed frame at the beginning of the year. Two weeks ago my husband went to get into bed on his side and the bed frame snapped. This is a metal slat supported bed frame, appearing to be extremely heavy duty. I called for service to come out and was told they couldn't get a tech out for nearly a week. In the meantime, I informed the lady I was speaking with that we would have to temporarily fix it to be able to sleep on it and I didn't want to risk voiding the warranty. She said she would make note. When the service tech came out he told my husband that he did as good of a job as he would have to give temporary resolution while they figured our what they could do. This bed is a king sized bed frame (which they no longer carry) with metal slats that per the manufacturer "should not need a center support." The tech that came out even said that just applying a small amount of pressure was causing a dip in the bed and this is not normal. The bed did not come with what they refer to as a spine, therefore the only support is on the sides when isn't enough. The solution of the manager - altering the bed even further to enforce it. HOWEVER, my husband altered the bed and was told that voids the warranty. The manager then says that it won't void the warranty if it's done at our request and that having it enforced is the ONLY option. I would suggest taking your business elsewhere and find yourself a product of better quality. Extremely disappointed with the service from management that we have received (our tech was great!) and wish we never made this purchase. Wish I could leave 0 stars because we have been a loyal customer for years and clearly that doesn't matter to a corporate company like Gardner White when they'll just get 5 more people suckered into buying an inferior product.

My experience at this store fell way below expectations of true professionalism period after I made a purchase of $2,128 for the **************** Leather Reclining Sofa (Model #: 601PPRS) with the full 4 year protection package plan & white glove delivery service due to the following facts:- the sales person unfortunately took my driver's license & actually typed in the incorrect address in the "sold to" & "ship to" sections of my printed paper invoice receipt while also providing me with a series of mistakes about at least a 2 to 3 week "first come, first serve" delayed availability (which I was okay with in terms of waiting).- I receive a phone call voicemail message to find out 2 days later after making the purchase that my sofa was in stock & ready to be scheduled for delivery ASAP to the incorrect information on file even though I mentioned to the sales person/her (******) directly in person before I walked out the door on Tuesday, August 2nd that this needs to be corrected before the shipping people give me a call to schedule a delivery date/appointment.- While the sales person is a professional, she seemed to be not knowledgeable enough & unsure of providing accurate information about all of my questions on this particular sofa specifically before I made the purchase in the end & gave her my driver's license for my contact information.- I do not want to throw ****** under the bus, but the real person that made this more unprofessional is ****** (the sales clerk/supposedly one of the managers at the store in the sales desk behind the counter) who refunded my full amount of purchase today (August 4th) as I explained to her that I still want to be a Gardner White purchasing customer & would like to speak with the actual store manager themselves (he wasn't there according to ******) about the specific **************** Leather Reclining Sofa (which I definitely still want again) in order to work out some sort solution on price for this unprofessionalism.

I purchased a mattress in September 2019. During Covid, the whole middle of the mattress starting to sink in. I called Gardner White, and they sent a technician out who did determine that the mattress was defected. When I initially purchased the mattress, I purchased a Mattress Protection Plan which I THOUGHT would cover the mattress, but it only covers basically nothing you would use. Okay, they send me another mattress. Same company the first one came from. I didn't want the same company because I didn't like the results of the first one. I wanted a different brand. The first night I slept on the mattress I noticed that I went to the center of that mattress as well. It sinks, but not as bad. However, a brand-new mattress should not sink at all. I tried mattresses at the ** store and none of the ones that I tried sunk in the middle at all! Same price range. I call the store to complain about the mattress that was delivered, and they tell me I have to wait 60 days before a tech can come. I have had bad back problems for years and these mattresses from ** are making it worse. I am over 60 years and to be treated like this is horrible. I am currently unemployed and don't have money for a new mattress. I gave ** almost $6,000 in cash for a complete bedroom set, and this is how I am being treated? Please Help!
