    This clock worked for just over 1 year. The company refused to repair or replace the hands that don't move. It's always 5pm but the pendulum has continued to move for a month. Poor customer service. They offered to sell me a part for another 25 dollars plus shipping. Do yourself a favor and buy from a reputable company that stands by its products NOT Howard miller!!!

    I am sorry you are having an issue with your clock. Can you tell me the Model and serial number of the clock (on the back, the place of purchase and your name so I can try to locate the order?

    Bought a grandfather clock in 1987, Brochure tells me how they are handed down generation to generation. Won;t keep proper time. Needs new movement, per service center. Looking for movement, contacted HM. Informed that the movement is no longer made. So I have this beautiful empty clock cabinet, no dial, no clock. I can still buy parts for a 65 year old Chevy, but can't get parts for a 35 year old clock? Should probably change brochure from generation to generation, unless they quit working. So dissatisfied with HM response.

    This company is managed by irresponsible and incompetent people. They dont seem to care about the quality of their products and poor treatment of customers. The grandfather clock that I received from Howard Miller is significantly different from the clock that I ordered based on the description of the product on the website. The appearance is quite different from what is presented in the website. The lack of quality control at Howard Miller is astounding. But they dont seem to care and have taken no steps to remedy the situation. What a horrible experience with this company. Beware!
