Inspect-It 1st was an incredible inspection service that I cannot recommend to anyone enough. William (Bill) was quick to respond and able to meet a short and expedited inspection window. The time limitations did not affect the thoroughness of the inspection as a very detailed report (photos included) was delivered on top of an in-person explanation of potential issues while walking through the home. Safety issues were emphasized and led to immediate repairs on the home that could have been overlooked and caused serious problems had they not been addressed and explained in detail. Anyone would be lucky to work with Bill.Inspect-It 1st of Andover

Bill is a super awesome inspector. He'll find all the little thing that the eyes cannot find on the day of the tour. He has a wide knowledge of home improvement background so he is able to pick and nick at every little things that a home buyer will want to know and see before they choose to by their new home. I highly recommend him to anyone looking who is looking for a reliable trust worthy inspector.Inspect-It 1st of Andover

We were very interested in a property, and put down earnest money.
The owner provided an inspection report, but we decided to hire an independent inspector (Bill). The owner's inspector said he couldn't evaluate the roof because it was snow-covered. I happen to be a meteorologist, and I know that the roof would have had nothing worse than a light coating of recent snow. OK, maybe that's enough to skip the roof assessment, so I can't say if that was a legit excuse.
The roof issue is important because it is a shake roof that has not been updated. Bill's inspection revealed that the shakes were near the end of their life, and he didn't even want to walk the roof for fear of damaging the many curled shakes.
And.......Bill photographed an opening along a soffit that was more than adequate to allow bats to come and go. Indeed, Bill found bat guano and smelled a strong urine odor in the attic.
The owner's inspection report mentioned no issues with the attic.
So, considering a 50+K roof replacement and a 10+K bat eradication, we backed out of the deal.
