I felt like I was risking fraud when I bought a car from about 1800 miles away without flying out in person. I thought I was taking a chance with KeySavvy because there aren't many reviews out there. I was definitely wrong.
KeySavvy has great customer service, it is completely legitimate, and the cost is surprisingly low. I think I paid $158 and I don't know how they can be profitable with the level of service they provide. I highly recommend their service. All I did was transfer the money to them (there were several options), seller sent them the title, and they effectively bought the car and re-sold to me. It was quick and easy.

I was skeptical about this service but everything went smoothly and exactly as the process was described. As a seller, it was worrisome sending in my executed title and then releasing my car to a shipper with out being paid, but as soon as the pick up paperwork was submitted, they sent an email for the confirmation of the payout. The payout was pending in my bank account that same day and cleared by the next day.

I used Keysavvy for two vehicle sales thus far. I’m been thoroughly impressed with the service. They are communicative and efficient. Their service provides peace of mind as you navigate the cess-pool that is online vehicle sales. I simply paste the payment link in the adds, and when the scammers ask for you name, address and phone number, I point them to the link to complete the purchase. Payment is prompt, and all paperwork completed. I am really pleased with the company.

I want to leave this review because I just sold my Tesla through them and what a safe, smooth and reliable process. I waited until it was all clear to write this review because I want to be sure I could write about my whole experience. I was a little hesitant when the buyer told me he wanted to use this page but after checking here and on Reddit I decided I can trust them and know I'll not even consider selling my car in any other way.
Great Job Keysavvy and I am glad I found you !

Excellent customer service, I had questions and spoke to an actual human every time. They were extremely helpful walking me through the process. Obviously I was a little nervous sending 82 k to an unknown person for my 2018 Cadillac CTS V but the entire transaction went through without a hitch. They issued me 30 day tags and now waiting on my title. This is the only way to buy a car from a private seller.
      Thank you Keysavvy

I used KeySavvy to purchase a Sprinter Van conversion from a private party that was in a different state (our-of-state purchase). Given the high cost of the vehicle, and the previously unknown seller, I was nervous about controlling my cash and exchanging the title. Before using KeySavvy a different online escrow company was recommended; however, my review of BBB comments and several other online review sites indicated that customers, specifically purchasers, had many bad experiences with receiving their deposit after their deals fell through. KeySavvy was then recommended and I reviewed their relatively short performance history (the were a relatively new company at the time) and satisfied with the business model, I called them to get a sense of their customer service. A representative answered after two rings and she answered all my questions to my satisfaction.
The process was simple, straight forward, and easy to understand. Their background check of me and the seller was a very welcome additional service and instilled more confidence into the transaction. A representative reached out in person (all representatives are located in the US, seemingly nothing is left to offshore resources - a big plus for me) to walk through one of the options for title transfer, giving me the benefits and drawbacks of my choice. No new or hidden costs or steps in the procedure were encountered.
I rate their service excellent and highly recommend them. I would note that my transaction was flawless, and I did not need to seek the return of my deposited funds, which was the main complaint with the other escrow company that we did not use. However, KeySavvy's customer service was notably excellent, especially with the widespread use of automated help systems, and the service complaints associated with the online escrow company.

You know if you buy a car directly from the previous owner, you get a better price. But you also get a few risks that you wouldn't have at a dealer. In fact, did you know that for the most part if you buy a car directly, there are virtually NO laws to protect you, no matter what happens.
To start off, how to go about handling the money is nerve-twisting. Using a loan is complicated. Some banks won't even lend for a private transaction. What if the car you're buying HAS a loan? Will it get paid off, or will you get a car with someone else's lien attached? What if you want to put part of it on your credit card to get all those mileage bonus points or cash back? A private owner won't meet you in the driveway with a tap-to-pay terminal.
So but even sans-loan ... how to actually get the funds where they gotta go? You gonna carry around like $30k ... maybe $100k+ in cash? Nah! Bank transfer? Cashier's certified check? Not anymore ... they're too easy to fake so nobody will take one. Zelle? PayPal? ApplePay? If you CAN make a super-size-me transfer, almost for sure it ain't instant. In fact, instant transfer can take DAYS. You aren't with your new ride 'til the transfer completes. You wonder if the car is on some Mad Max road trip while cash moving in the ether?
It you make it past the nervous money part ... well now you face the nebulous, blood-pressure-raising time to put in at the DMV counter. And seriously, what .... maybe 50-50 chance you're going back again? ... you didn't initial Line 7 on form BlahBlah-208?
Instead use KeySavvy. For a basically bargain fee, funds will be handled, you can use your card, any title/lien bugs get squished, and the DMV forms will show up ready to sign (even those little yellow arrows pointing to where). There's support if you need it. And unlike other escrow services, KeySavvy is a licensed dealer. You get the legal protections of buying from a dealer. And by the way ... it gets you access to the tax write off for a used E.V.!

Very happy with the service. Simply put they did what they said they would do. They answered the phone every time I called and responded to every email and chat I sent. This is a great service when buying a car out of state and unseen. The seller was also hesitant to do business directly with the buyer. KeySavvy made everyone comfortable and did all the homework to make sure everyone was legit and safe. Based on my experience I would recommend KeySavvy to anyone looking to buy and or sell a car!!!

KeySavvy help me sell my EV to a private party buyer like a mentor who protects you and guides you. It asked me to remove my license plates (applicable in WA) and secured payment for me before I haded over the car. Great service from Andrew. I will definitely go use them again without blinking.
