Extremely Disappointed with the Nursing Program at Rasmussen College - *******, ** I have two students currently attending the nursing program at Rasmussen College in *******, **, and our experience has been far from satisfactory. The last semester was an absolute disaster. The school had to adjust exam scores and offer remediation to students due to the ongoing issues. The biggest problem has been the disconnect between the curriculum and the exams. The students are not provided with the proper materials, lessons, or guidance to succeed. Despite numerous emails from the school promising to correct these issues, nothing has been done. The curriculum doesn't align with the exams, and when students ask professors if the lessons will be tested, the response is always, "We dont know."As a result, many students, including my own, are struggling to meet the minimum grade requirement. The lack of support and clarity has been disheartening. To make matters worse, the school is currently on probation from the state nursing ******** this point, I cannot recommend Rasmussen College in *******, **, for their nursing program. If you're considering this school, I suggest you look elsewhere.Rasmussen University

Hello ******,
Thank you for sharing your feedback. We take student success seriously and appreciate the opportunity to address your concerns.
We want to clarify that none of our Florida nursing programs are currently on probation with the ************************. We are proud of our students recent strong outcomes, which reflect their dedication and hard work.
The University implemented multiple measures in the Winter 2025 academic term to support student success and overcome the challenges some students experienced with the implementation of the new digital learning platform. To better understand these measures, we encourage you or your students to reach out directly to the Campus Executive Director or Nursing **** at our *****/******* campus. Your feedback is important, and we want to ensure all students feel supported in their academic journey.
Thank you.Review fromJean M

1 starTHE WORST SCHOOL!!!!!! ****** the admissions director is on a power horse. The way she speaks to people, is the way she needs to speak to her children and not adults. She yelled in my ear when I disagreed with her and expressed my frustration with this school. She then tried to tell me what I heard after I stopped her and told her, to yell at her kid not me. That lady need to go back and take a communications class and study RESPECT .. ACTUALLY the whole school does. Do not try to get a tutor to assist with classes, you wont hear from anyone. DONT try to write the instructors, they will ignore you when you have questions. DONT reach out to your advisor either, they dont get back to you and dont help with anything. Everyone is lazy, yet they charge an arm and leg for classes. DO NOT WASTR YOUR TIME OR MONEY.Review fromAmanda I

Rasmussen is not a college I would recommend for medical billing and Coding. Went through the process of schooling, and had a few professors who would NOT help me learn anything, would give me videos to watch to help me instead of them spending time as they should and getting paid to do nothing. Rasmussen also makes it known that they will help you get a job after you graduate especially if you don't work in a medical office, they DO NOT HELP YOU. My advisor had didn't know anything, would always pass me along to someone else, and they would just try and beat around the **** on things and could never get a direct answer. At the end of the course, you get your review for your loan, and they tack on a lot more money that they DO NOT tell you about when you first inquire about the program. Rasmussen in my opinion is nothing but out for money, make them sound great, once you are in you are stuck and they don't care about you anymore. Then on top of it, after you graduate you have to take a final exam, which is then through a different website, the ***** website is horrible, they take weeks to approve you to take a test and when you call, they give you the run-around. When you call your advisor for help with that exam, she tells me there is nothing they can do on their end it's something we have to deal with the ***** website. No one there ever wants to help you. Sadly, Rasmussen is a NO in my book from now on.Rasmussen University

Beware of this University. The online curriculum for medical coding is horrible, and they have hidden fees they'll harass you with once you leave for another University.Rasmussen University

I wish I had never been admitted into this school or at least the *************** location. It has been nothing but heartache and confusion since April, which only led to me wasting money. One of the values preached about in orientation was accountability, but yet the school does not honor this code itself. Since starting in April, there have been constant rumors of loss of accreditation and uncertainty for Students enrolled. This makes me fearful and nervous because the cost of tuition is high for a school whose failing rates are now at an all-time high. Of course, I did not believe the rumors, but then instructors started to drop like flies; within 3 months, only 8 instructions remained. As a student of the *** course, this became a highlight to my education as my schedule, which is they pressure you to accept without accommodations being accepted, even if requested, due to a lack of Teachers. Remain incompleted through the semester, leaving the student with multiple instructors who all claim the inability to effectively teach the course due to credentials. More than three instructors recommended that I drop the course and apply at the subsequent school where they were teaching, stating that the academic policies and educators were better and more effective. How they had a difficult time understand their roles and positions as well. This university is in comparison to a $50000 study guide, as the teachers do not teach, and SLS meetings are ineffective, as well as test-taking strategies that they recommend you take. This is not an effective way to train for the ***** exam as there is no guidance for what you are doing right or wrong, leaving everything as a guessing game. The school is aware of this problem, and the excuses provided by the **** were "it is a gray area" and "You need to know everything, so just read the textbooks." There were five students remaining in the course due to the lack of support provided by the school. 10/10 do not recommend.Rasmussen University

I have only good experiences with this school, I got my associates and bachelor's with them, I got my bachelor's in Finance and my Associates in business management. My teachers were amazing and I believe I had a good education. It wasn't as expensive as other university. Overall I do recommend this university.Rasmussen University

Rasmussen university Tampa Nursing program needs to be shut down . This school staff spend 85 % of the time conversing about personal life matters that has nothing to do with lecture. All the professors there are therefore a paycheck they do not teach blame students for their low nclex scores. They will hire any nurse that has a license and will show up. Thats all it takes to qualify. Being a nurse doesnt mean you can teach. in. The assistant, **** is on a power trip. The Director has a nasty attitude. They never want to take accountability for their actions inconsistencies , last minutes changes, lack of flexibility and response to emails etc. If a student miss a day or late theyre dismissed from the program. Lets not mention the discrimination going on including disability discrimination. The new **** is on a power trip. It has an attitude problem. And whoevers responding to these comments complaints and reviews on this platform youre part of the problem too because you just brushing things over like they do on campus.Rasmussen University

I believe that this institution is not treating its pupils morally. Students are being set up for failure and accused of cheating. Since I can't see my exam results, I feel like I'm not getting the grades I deserve and can't support my worries. Our grades are not made public by the school for two days. I'm being reprimanded for my school fees. I believe that I'm receiving extremely unethical treatment and that I lack the authority to fix my problem. It is imperative that action be taken to ensure that students receive competent service and receive what they paid for.Rasmussen University

1 starThis school is a scam and is stealing from students. They keep asking you for more money without furnishing any accounting records to justify the ask or explain why the tuition is an *************** target week by week.Myself along with countless other students have massive student loans from a Rasmussen education on top of paying thousands of dollars out of pocket, and leaving the school with gigantic bills. Not to mention I couldnt get jobs in the field I graduated from and didnt start making enough money until more than 10 years after graduating to even begin to start paying some money towards student loans. I had to get a lawyer to help me get my degree from them because they wouldnt release it. I wish the government would audit this college. I cant believe they are still allowed to be in business.Review fromStarlet R
