    Toro Recycler Max with Personal Pace and Smart Stow 22-in Gas Self-propelled lawn mower 0 STARS COMPLETE GARBAGE! BROKE IN 4 MONTHS!Purchased brand new for $600 from Lowes and died in 4 months. Absolutely furious with this purchase. I bought this Toro lawn mower expecting a reliable machine from a trusted brand, and it completely failed me in less than 4 months. It was used on the recycle setting and would constantly ***** and die mid-mow. No amount of troubleshooting or basic maintenance could bring it back to life and when I say I maintained the mower, I mean it! It was washed and cleaned after every single use and stored in a garage, along with frequent gasoline and oil engine checks which were ALWAYS fine. This is NOT a cheap mower, so the fact that it fell apart in a single season is absolutely unacceptable. I still had a manufacturer warranty and took it to Toros manufacture facility for troubleshooting only to be met with a completely useless inspection citing oil was not used in the engine which is complete rubbish! They acted like I broke it because they insinuated I was a dumbass for not putting oil in the engine, instead of standing behind their faulty product! A warranty is meaningless if the company wont honor it! Meanwhile, our kind neighbors allowed us to borrow their mower in this process and it had zero issues mowing our lawn, never stalled once! I guess ***** is far superior to Toro products. What ever you do AVOID Toro products, they are useless. Warranties dont mean anything if its your word against theirs. They denied my warranty and I lost $600 but they lost a life long customer, so you tell me who wins. Save yourself the money, the stress, and the wasted weekends. Toro used to mean qualitynow it just means regret. DO NOT BUY!

    ?? Thinking About Becoming a Turo Host? Think Twice.Turo may look like a great way to earn money with your car, but hosts are often left unprotected and undervalued. In my experience, **** tends to side with guestseven when they cancel a trip after using the vehicle. I wasnt properly compensated, and support was slow and unhelpful.

    I purchased a Toro self-propelled gas lawn mower in mid-June 2025. Within 2 weeks, the blade fell off while I was mowing. Luckily I was moving slowly and wasn't injured. Also I had trouble getting the starter cord to release but managed to get it to start.I returned the machine to Home Hardware in ************. When they contacted TORO, they were told that this particular problem wasn't covered under the warranty and refused to refund my money. It was sent to a repair person in ******, who said there was a second problem: the starter cord was seized up.**** at Home Hardware has been excellent. The store has refunded my money and continues to discuss the issue with TORO. He said they have had other issues with this company, found them difficult to deal with, and are considering discontinuing selling their products.I sure won't buy anything from TORO again. Terrible company!

    Bought the Toro lawn mower , hasnt even been a year,. Followed all the instructions, failed to crank after barely been used 6 times. Called Lowes who assured me it was under warranty and referred me to Toros customer service. Automated response no live person. Followed the prompts and found a local repair shop as stipulated by Toro. As lawn mower under a five year warranty and under a year old I was told by Lows it was covered. The repair shop called me a week later, told me the mower was ready and I had to pay over 100 dollars as not covered under warranty!. Will never purchase a Toro again. I have emailed Toro with no luck and they do not have a live person on customer service person.

    Purchased 9/14/23 electric start self propelled lawnmower. Mower began smoking first season and progressively got worse season 2024. Smoke was so extreme could not see the mower and would eventually shutdown. Electric start worked well 2023, however ********************************* manual pull start. Contacted Toro, was advised to carry to authorized Toro dealer for evaluation. Lawnmower is very heavy to lift and does not fit in my automobile, nor were any of the dealers in my area. I explained to Toro unable to take to authorized dealer. After much communication and frustration advised would never purchase another Toro product.If you are considering a Toro lawnmower.....RUN!     I contacted A and B Lawn and Garden located in ********* **, about my defective Toro lawn mower and spoke to **** I explained while mowing my yard, a large shard of the deck had broken off and shot out the side chute dangerously. I was advised by Toro to have A & B inspect my mower under the Toro warranty. *** requested that I bring the mower into the shop for inspection. The next day, I took it in. The owner, ****, overheard me talking to another employee behind the counter. He sprang up, approached me, and began accusing me of abusing my lawn mower. He later claimed I must have run over a rock. I replied that I had been mowing the same yard for 15 years and that I do not have large rocks in my yard. I questioned whether rocks normally destroy the decking of Toro mowers. If they do, then I would not recommend buying a Toro, because the deck should deflect rocks, not shatter and send shards of flying metal. **** stated this has never happened before with Toro mowers. I explained that another business researched and found that this has happened several times to Toro mowers. So who is lying. **** who does not want to assist, work or inspect the mower or the other business that actually spent the time to look up previous issues with Toro mowers. **** then compared my situation to driving a car into a brick wall and EXPECTING him to fix it. I was completely offended by this analogy, as he was blaming me for simply mowing my lawn as I have done my entire adult life. **** refused to inspect my lawn mower as Toro advised me to do for the warranty claim. **** then ordered his employees not to assist me any further. **** was completely disrespectful, aggressive, and unprofessional. How could he conclude that I had abused the mower or run over a rock without even inspecting it?I am thankful that none of my family members were injured by this cheap Toro product. I am disappointed that neither **** nor Toro cares about my family's safety or honoring the warranty.

    BUYER BEWARE: have had their lawn mower for barely a year and took it to a repair shop where they told me that there was a defect and would need $1000 to replace the part. Called their warranty department and they refused to cover the replacement even after the shop reached out to them and told them that it was defect and not owner caused. Not only is their product a failure but their customer service is 100 times worse. They refuse to speak with you or allow you to speak with a supervisor and in essence disconnect the call with you still on the line. The customer service is a complete disgrace. They fool people into buying their quality products and then hide when that customer seeks help. They should be ashamed and they need to be stopped in fooling the public. I had a lawn mower for 20 years prior to this with no problem. Went with TORO this time and it was the biggest mistake I have ever made!!!! DON'T BUY!!!

    I purchased a Turo mower at ***** on April 3. This mower does not come with a discharge chute, however, Toro promises to send you one as soon as you register your mower. It is now May 10th and still no discharge chute. I plan on returning the mower to Lowes for a full refund.

    Toro replaced a trans-axle on my proline 36' lawn mower. Toro installed a D7 instead of a D6. The trans-axle they installed has failed. According to the Toro website the trans-axles can not be mixed or it will cause damage to the trans-axles. The trans-axles must be installed in matching pairs either two D7 or two D6. I have been trying for months to get this problem solved. Toro replied that the mower had to go to a Toro Dealer. The lawnmower was worked on at the Toro Dealer that sold it to me.Toro has told the dealer that the warranty is over THIS IS NOT A WARRANTY PROBLEM THE WRONG TRAS-AXLE WAS INSTALLED. This part is over a ******** dollars. I do not understand why Toro will not install the correct trans-axle. THIS IS A TORO MISTAKE!

    I am now using the Toro Power Jet F700 - 137-9336 Blower. I have been using lawn equipment for 45 years and this blower is the best piece of lawn equipment that I have ever used. It's 3 speed power mode can blow debris from my driveway into the middle of our road effortlessly! I highly recommend this great product!************
