      -A TRIA orthopedic provider billed for services that I did not request.-I requested that the provider NOT perform anything that would require additional billing codes, without giving me the codes in advance to contact the insurance prior to those services.-They billed for the same services/exercises every visit for 5 visits in a row without my consent or knowledge -The delay in the billing system did not give me the opportunity to prevent these overcharges.-They appear to have a new billing practice to add additionally billing codes that significantly increase their revenue for each visit, with no regard to the impact on the patient financially, as these additional billing codes are often restricted or not acceptable my insurance companies.-I have tried to handle this dispute with TRIA over the last 9 months and their response was to send me to collections over $228.-I want to warn all other patients, as I am sure this is not an isolated incidence.

      Patient JH Therapist called her on 8/26/24 and reviewed the charges, explaining the code used that encompasses the multiple modalities patient received. I called JH today and will review current charges, amounts owed and perform another chart review. Also hold charges until we have completed our reviews.
