The business agreed to ship the magazine in up to 8 weeks after my purchase. I used Apple Pay at check out which over road the name and address I had initially imputed for shipping. At week 7 I noticed the error and contacted the company per their websites instructions to update the name and shipping as this is a gift not for myself. The company was very slow in their email replies and made the process difficult. They finally confirmed the shipping address is updated but have yet to confirm they updated the shipping name although Ive asked 3 times in separate emails. After updating the shipping address I requested information as to when I would receive my magazine as week 8 is upon us I was told I would now have to wait an additional 5-7 weeks. After I objected to this unwarranted delay the company informed me I could actually expect an increase of shipping time by an additional 8-10 weeks. This delay is not listed anywhere on the website nor is it reasonable. The company expects me to wait a quarter of a year for a magazine subscription? Very poor customer service & seems scammy.Initial Complaint

I have reached out twice now after paying for physical copies and receiving only digital ones. I confirmed with gamestop that the version i purchased was for physical copies. Hi,I have not received any of my copies of game informer since I subscribed. I missed the last 2 issues of the physical copy. I subscribed to digital power up rewards at GameStop in order to receive my digital issues of gameinformer. I have not been able to access these issues. They tell me to buy them individually. I have tried to subscribe through the app and it tells me I already have a subscription. I have filled out 4 help requests with no answer. I have called 2 times and no one has helped me. I now cannot get a refund because I have exceeded two days after I subscribed. I would like a exception to this rule and get a full refund if I continue to not be helped.Initial Complaint

I have a subscription with the company Game Informer. I have stopped receiving magazine issues from them since May 2022. I have reached out to them several times through phone and email. No one ever picks up the phone or answers emails. I checked with their partner, GameStop to see if my subscription had ended. It had not. I re-subscribed to see if that would clear any issues and I would start receiving their magazines again. Still nothing. It seems ridiculous that I have to open a case with BBB to get a paid subscription going again but Game Informer has refused to help or respond to any inquiries as to why I am no longer receiving magazines that I paid for.*************Initial Complaint

On 9/4 I purchased a subscription to GameStop's Pro Digital offer. This included a digital version of the Game Informer magazine every month starting with the current month. I have tried accessing this magazine via computer as well as the app the company provides. Both state no subscription found. I have also sent 3 e-mails from my personal e-mail as well the imbedded e-mail option on the companies customer support page; both options haven't resulted in a response.I have also tried calling the company 4 times via the provided customer service phone number and waited on hold each time at least 15 up to 45 minutes and no one answers.Initial Complaint

I joined the ************** up thing. I did so for the digital magazine. I get an email telling me my issues is ready to read. I click the link and it tells me to join Gameinformer. I cannot get to my magazine. Then I email them and they tell me to link my accounts. I have told them twice that I try that. It tells me there i son account with my name, address or email. There is no way I can get to my digital magazine.I do enjoy getting $5 a month towards games. I must have gotten over ten in the past month. But I really want to read the magazine. Game informer has failed to send me a magazine for the last 4 months which is them failing to honor my subscription which is valid until February 2023.
