We ordered a crib for our daughter who is coming in the next couple weeks. Initially Hom "GUARANTEED" that it would be here by June for our newborn. Well middle of May and our order status got moved to "expect by August." Had to submit multiple request forms to get any communication and when we finally got someone on the phone they said "oops our fault but there is no other option." Maybe this is fine for a couch or other furniture but inexcusable for a crib that is really time sensitive. We were 10+ year customers but will be taking our business elsewhere.HOM Furniture, Inc.

We ordered all new living room furniture and added an ottoman to go with it. We were unhappy that it took 3 months to get it but ended with p receiving it and it is good. Now only 1 year into our furniture (with extended warranty) our power recline on the sofa went out. Called and a tech came out and said it was gonna be 3 months again to receive a new switch! Really? So our recliners are stuck in the recline position for 2 months already waiting for a switch. Not sure where you guys are getting all your furniture and parts from but it should never take 3 months to get a simple power switch! Last time we will ever purchase furniture from hom furniture.HOM Furniture, Inc.

I think we are be cohersed into not returning our chairs at any cost. We complained about the quality and feel of the chairs not being the same as the Demo chairs at the store within 24 hrs. A tech was sent and tried to amend a few issues 2 weeks later as scheduled by the service dept. Now 1 chair has a snag in the gliders travel - mechanical failure of some kind from the feel of it. and this is the chair no one sits in normally. Now we are told its past the 7 day return policy and the finger was squarly pointed at the Vendor by mangement. The store has no control? We will likely have to sell these chairs on Marketplace to recover something as we can not even return with the 40 percent restock fee. Shame on this StoreHOM Furniture, Inc.

We thank our customer for their feedback an we apologize that they are frustrated with their special ordered chairs. Our service department is doing their best to work with you to resolve this issues. We always want to have a technician out to assess the issues so that we can get all the information we need to work with our customers. After reading the information on the account it appears the initial concern was corrected and now there is a new concern which is why we'd like our tech to look into this first. Our service department will follow up again after your tech visit. We thank you for your patience.P. R.

How many times must we have a technician out to fix these chairs? You state that the initial concern was corrected - it was never corrected as the technician could not fix the problems. All that could be fix was adding foam in the back of the chairs so you did not fall through the large gap in the back when you reclined the chair. As for the extreme hardness of the chairs I was told they needed "breaking them in" to make the cushions more comfortable to sit in. How do you make rock like chairs more comfortable so I can sit in them without causing pain and leaving bruises on my body. As I am disabled and sit in the chair all day so the softness of the chair and support is very important to me. So when I tried the chairs in the store they were what I was looking for that is why I purchased these chairs, If I could have chairs like the store demo chairs in my leather color I would be happy.Review fromEmilio V

1 starI had a deal on 2019 for 6 years for a purchase and then later in 2022 I talked to a representative to extend the deal and the representative said yes we can do that and apparently the representative didn't made any notes and didn't do his job so I ended up paying more than $600 in interest. The manager said today that there was nothing he could do because the representative didn't do any notes about it.Review fromDEBBIE F

1 starI PURCHASED A MATTRESS A YEAR AGO AND WITHIN 6 MONTHS NOTICED THAT IT BEGAN SAGGING, I CONTACTED HOM AND THEY SENT OUT A TECH TO MEASURE AND TAKE PICTURES. THE TECH TOLD ME THAT HE COULD SEE THE SAGGING FROM MY BEDROOM DOOR (THE BED HAD BEEN STRIPPED NO SHEETS OR ANYTHING ON IT). 3 DAYS LATER THEY CALLED AND SAID THAT MY BED WAS MEASURING 1 INCH AND IT NEEDED TO BE 1 INCH AND A HALF OR MORE BEFORE THEY COUD DO ANYTHING. TOLD ME THAT I COULD PAY AN ADDITIONAL $1300.00 TO HAVE IT RESTOCKED AND PAY AN ADDITIONAL $1300.00 TO GET A DIFFERENT BED. OTHERWISE I COULD WAIT ANOTHER 3-6 MONTHS AND HAVE SOMEONE COME BACK OUT AND MEASURE AGAIN. I EXPLAINED THAT MY PREVIOUS MATTRESS WAS 15 YEARS OLD BEFORE IT STARTED SAGGING AND SHE SAID THAT THERE IS NOTHING ELSE THAT CAN BE DONE. I FIND THIS TO BE SO WRONG AFTER ALREADY PAYING $3000.00 FOR THE BED TO BEGIN WITHReview fromCory R

We bought 2 living room sets 3 years ago at Hom furniture in Rogers MN. The sales persons did a great job upselling the protection plans equalling about $1,000 with the promise that if we did not make a claim we would receive a full money refund after 3 years. Well, here we are 3 years later and come to find out that the "full money refund" is actually about a 20% refund in store credit equal to the portion of what would have been a "service charge" against the warranty. Thanks for the $200 worth of gift cards. False advertising and bad business practice. Don't promise what you won't deliver.HOM Furniture, Inc.

Dear customer, we apologize for the frustration that you are feeling. We in no way are trying to deceive any of our customers, and only wish to give them some added assurance with their purchases by selling our HOM Guard Plus warranty. We go into detail on our website how our HOM Guard Plus works by noting:
"The You Cant Lose Policy We are so confident that our HOM Guard Plus program is right for you that, if you do not require service within the 3-year life of the program, we will send you a HOM coupon in the amount of the full purchase price you paid for the Plus portion of HOM Guard Plus (does not include the price of fabric or leather protection) to use on future purchases of furniture, mattresses, and area rugs. You cant lose."
Link to our website *********************************************************************
We are happy to hear that your product has held up well and you didn't have to use your warranty and were able to get the Plus portion back to be used on a future purchase.

1 starWe bought two recliners from HomFurniture not 2 years ago. They were $1000 each. The head rest in one is peeling and flaking off. I was told it’s from hair oils. My husband sits in that chair and he is bald. The chair we had before this one was 25 years old and it didn’t do this. What kind of a chair headrest can’t last for two years? This is ridiculous. They are not helping me. Very frustrated.Review fromPenny E

1 starOn 2/22/22 We bought a queen bed and 5” graphite foundation and two years later it has a dip in it and its broken not mention bowing and I was told its caused by wear a tear and how can this be already after a little over two years. No way because the old bed foundation and that was almost nine years old never did this and this one is. I will not be going back to hom furniture not to mention we had problems with our mattress last year and when they came out the 2nd time we got a replacement and I know why now its because the foundation is causing the mattress to have defects. So my husband and I need to shop for a bed foundation and we will not be going back to hom furniture. I was told hom furniture does not back up their warranties unless you have them come back out. They will always say it’s wear and tear or it’s not bad enough to get a replacement. The guy that came out did not listen to what I had to say about bowing either. I was told by others have them come back out and take a closer look in a few months.Review fromMelissa L

2 starsI’ve bought almost all of my furniture exclusively from hom furniture but I’ve found out an issue….
I purchased a pretty spendy dining set from them a few years ago that has cream colored upholstery on the seats and bench. I’ve had it for several years and recently wanted to have it cleaned. The tag on the bottom says 100% polyester but when I had it cleaned according to polyester standards it turned brown/yellow and blotchy.
I hired an upholstery tech and they said it appears not to be 100% polyester and it cannot be fixed. A dining set that cannot be cleaned!?!
They discontinued this set not long after I purchased it and now I know why… they buy from cheap vendors and then pass the headache and disappointment on to their customers. If they learned there was an issue, they should contact their customers who bought it and let them know. Horrible business practices.Review fromMaryjo T

1 starHom furniture wants 170.00 to put 8 legs on couch and chair and deliver it inside of home!!!!!!! This old lady can’t afford 10 min of work at this outrageous price. After spending over 1,000.00 the least they can do is complete the job. This is legal **** and the company should be ashamed!!!
