      Was charged an incorrect late fee 2x on same day, I disputed this credit charge with my credit card instead of calling because this was the second time it happened and Club Pilates Corporate charged me two $25 dollar late fees because my credit card pulled back the charges. They threatened to send me to collections if I did not resolve my outstanding balance.I was only notified of the late charges a week after the fact and saying I would be sent to collections immediately if I did not resolve the charges, for two charges I should not have been charged the first place! They said there was nothing they could do since corporate now was charging me and would not connect me to them.The late fee's were 15 and 20 dollars while the late fees were each 25 dollars, more than doubling the total cost. This is a scam and terrible business model.

      Our studios have a maximum capacity of 12 individuals per class and we often have members waitlisted to get a spot. With these small class sizes, we must have rules that help us maximize the opportunity for all members to schedule their desired classes. In order to do this, we hold members accountable for attending the classes that they reserve by penalizing them from holding spot(s) and then cancelling too close to class time or not showing up at all. In this particular case, *************************** double booked herself for a 7:30am class on July 1st at two different Club Pilates locations. She cancelled the Eden ********************** location class at 7:04am, 26 minutes before the start of class, and she didnt show up for the class at the ***** location. Therefore, she received a $15 late cancel fee in Eden ********************** and a $20 no show fee in *****. ***** booked both classes herself utilizing her personal login/password and consequently received the correct charges for her actions, which were clearly communicated both verbally and in her terms of membership.

      Sometimes mistakes happen or member's have extenuating circumstances that we can work together to resolve. However, rather than discuss these legitimate charges with the studio, she disputed them directly with her credit card company. For each transaction, this action incurred a $25 dispute fee to our business, and an additional $25 charge back fee to ***************************. The charge back fee is also clearly outlined in her membership terms.

      As ***** has made it clear that she does not like the policies that help us ensure maximum access to all members, we have agreed to cancel her membership and waive the 30 day notification requirement.
