When I purchased the ***** Odyssey 2012, I confirmed onsite that I was only needed to have liability insurance on the vehicle. I would not have been allowed to drive off of the lot had it been otherwise. I carried the same insurance on the vehicle. I noticed that my car payment went up each month and when I contacted Supreme Solutions about this they told me because there was not full coverage the company was now placing insurance on the vehicle and charging me for it. I declined to have it and they told me that was not an option. This was an add $59/month and has been there for the past two years. I have been trying to pay this vehicle off and every time I lower the balance it increases again due to their fees.Business Response

Hello, In regards to the customers complaint It is in the contract that they need to maintain full coverage for the length of the loan. We cannot speak to what happened at the sale because that employee no longer works here. The contract is enforced thru the length of the loan. We reminded the customer "Hello We are processing our annual Insurance Audit. Please send over your current Insurance card. If you cannot provide that we will add you onto our Comp and ******************* on 8-1-23. If you have any questions please feel free to reach out. Thank you. 7-21-23 and we got no response. reminded again "Reminder today is last day to show us proof of full coverage Insurance or be added to our comp and collision policy. Thank you." and got no response she was enrolled on the insurance on 8-1. not until ***** did cust make mention of the insurance and we explained providing full coverage will remove them. **** has never provided full coverage of their own insurance. I lost my job and kept in touch with ***** to advise them of the situation. I wasnt even in possession of the vehicle due to it being in the shop with a repair that ****'s said they would cover. I advised them that I lost my job and would have a payment into them. ***** kept stating that my account was not secure but *****/Supreme had my **** Jeep Liberty in their possession the entire time so how could my account not be secure they had the financed Jeep liberty in their possession. ******************** stated I refused to pick up the vehicle, however I spoke with ******* at *******'s ********, who said the vehicle wouldnt start when they tried to move it. I had been remotely shut down by ***** I just received a letter on 11/14/2023 in the mail dated 11/7/2023 stating that I had to get the total amount due by 11/21/2023 to avoid having the vehicle auctioned off. Page 3 of the retail contract stated the notice needs to be made at least 10 days prior to sale, I received it short time notice. I made an offer to get $350 in by 11/21/2023 and $350 on the 5th and 20th (my pay dates) until I was caught up. It was refused by text coming from ***************'s number. I was then told that the amount needed by 10:00 AM on 11/21/2023 was $1000 then it was $800. They are unwilling to work with a customer who is still interested in the piece of JUNK I stupidly boughtBusiness Response

Hello first of all this states this is the final notice, However this is the first notice we have received on this issue. In reagrds to this customers complaint we do not handle service we are strictly the finance company. This customer purchased a car with us on ******. At time of sale we go over the contract and how the process works. The first few payments need to be made on time. if payment is not made your vehicle will be disabled, if that continues the car will be reposessed. This customers first payment was 3 days late. The second payment was 1 day late. The third payment never came. Here are the messages. You are currently 2 days past due. Please reach out to us with payment to bring your account current. 10-20-23 Hi s**** up w my direct deposit they r fixing and should be here next week will know more on Monday so sorry 10-20-23 I will note your account but this is your 3rd payment with us so it is important to get that in as soon as possible to secure your account. She starts a new job tomorrow and wouldn't be able to pay for 2-3 weeks. I asked her about the 401k she was waiting for an apparently she isn't eligible for distr. 11-7-23 Vehicle repossessed on 11/07/23. As you can see we allowed customer to get past due more than 2 payments which is 14 days. Customer was at 20 days before they even advised they had lost their job. As you can also see there was multiple times and days we went without hearing from the customer. The customer was sent all the info to redeem their vehicle back and they did not show up to redeem. To redeem a repo the full amount needs to paid in cash at that time. There is no arrangements made on a reposession. As far as the timeit took the mail to get it to her that is a **** issue and not in our control. Please advise if you need more info from us.

I am rejecting this response because:
I maintain that I kept in touch with finance company to advise them of the situation. At no time was I informed that the first 3 payments needed to be on time or there would be consequences. The texts were coming from the same number that ***************, the car lot that they finance cars for, and it was confusing to know if *************** was texting me or this so called finance company Supreme Solutions. They kept telling me my account was past due, I knew that fact I responded every time they texted me, but in no way did they inform me, they had picked up the vehicle from ******** Meineke and I was not in possession of my vehicle since they had it in their possession. I was unable to drive the vehicle since they had disabled the vehicle even though it was at the repair shop. While the payments were due, Supreme Solutions had the vehicle in their possession, so I was not in possession or have the use of the vehicle that they claim I had payments due. At no time was I 30 days behind in payments in fact when I did secure employment, I made an offer of $350 every 2 weeks to get caught up which they failed to mention once I was employed, which they rejected. I never received the information regarding the next 6 payments must be on time or they will not work with me. None of this was ever mentioned in the contract I signed.The notice of repossession in fact it was placed in regular mail, was not mailed in a timely manner, no one ever answers the phone at either phone number so it's impossible to talk with anyone at either Supreme Solutions or the *************** which they provide financing for. Supreme Solutions uses a ****** Voice phone number and *************** always rings to voicemail, so to speak with a person you must actually drive out to the lot.

This is once again the finance lot so we have nothing to do with repairs or the car being at meineke. And we have already sent over the correspondence with the customer. Those were the actual messages between the customer from her account so there is no disputing the conversations took place or the customer wasnt aware. The vehicle was repoed and they failed to redeem it off repo. Thank you.
