I am rejecting this response because:
We did speak about you discounting another bed however I cant afford to spend an additional $1600 on a bed or even a $900 bed off a discount. This was an extremely high purchase to begin with, thats why were so disappointed with the fact that we were misled so greatly by your company. We also spoke that Im in management as well, and if I had an employee making such an error like that I would have take responsibility. Unfortunately this was not explained to us during the purchase, we were offered a mattress protector but never advised the consequences of not purchasing one. Thats misleading and wrong to do in the sales industry as thats hiding the truth to get the sale and could be considered a form of slamming. Thats a lawsuit in itself one that the company I work for has been in trouble for which is why I take this so seriously. It also looks like youve had the same BBB complaint of not being notified so this is a known issue with your Mankato store. If I were informed yeah, thats absolutely my bad and I have to take that and eat it as a consumer. However, that wasnt the case in this situation, this was purposefully left out to complete a sale which is ethically wrong on your company. I would like a discount on my original purchase for being misled as Im not satisfied with the bed. Which is especially upsetting given the price, and customer satisfaction guarantee. If theres a hidden clause it needs to be disclosed at the time of purchase.

ing a mattress that did not meet our expectations. On June 10, 2025, we spoke with the store manager, ****, who confirmed that according to store policy, there was nothing he could do. Instead, he suggested that we try selling the bed to family or friends. Given the circumstances, we believe this policy was not clearly disclosed and is misleading to customers. We are formally requesting a refund for this purchase, as we were not provided with full transparency regarding the terms of the 100-day comfort guarantee. A policy of this nature should be clearly communicated at the time of sale, not discovered only after a significant investment has already been made.We hope Rooms and Rest Outlet will acknowledge this issue and take the appropriate steps to resolve it. Please let us know how this matter can be addressed.Sincerely, ****** ********* *************) ***********************

    Business Response

    Date: 07/09/2025

Hi ******, Again I apologize if there was any misunderstanding with the store policy, and returning of the mattress. The last we spoke we had agreed that you were going to sleep on the mattress for little while longer to see if the bed would soften up to your liking. I had offered a few tips to help the bed feel more comfortable as well. I gave you my cell phone and told you to reach out to me if the bed was still not to your liking after you had tried what was suggested. I had also offered a significant discount on the purchase of a different bed to help compensate for this misunderstanding. Again our goal at Rooms and Rest is not to take money from our customers, we want you sleeping in a mattress you can be excited about and our goal is to always go above and beyond to make sure these goals are met. Please reach out if you'd like to discuss options with me again.
