    About a year ago I had filled bankruptcy and was looking to get a car. I worked with Jake who told me works with people who have filled bankruptcy and would help me out. The car I purchased after the fact I realized it was worth way less than I owe. So now I can’t refinance it or get another car cause nobody will work with me. I feel taken advantage of and would not recommend!

    Kia of Mankato has been a wonderful experience. Sales, service and finance made the whole process seamless and very buyer friendly. My 2024 Telluride is a dream!

    I purchased a used Chevy Equinox from Kia of Mankato in late 2023. I had several challenges with the vehicle and Jake B, the Sales Manager, went far above and beyond to help me. My car now runs smoothly and I will purchase a new Kia from this dealership in the future. I trust that all my vehicle needs will be addressed and resolved. No dealership has EVER built trust with me in the past. I am glad I now know where to go for a vehicle! Mary S

    I give negative 5 stars for this car dealership. The guy by the Jake is a lier. Lied to me from the start. He said the car been cleaned and through the shop. It has new brakes and good tires. I am a technician and found a hair tie on the shifter and the headliner filthy. The brakes on all 4 wheels had 5% life. The tires had 3/32nd tread. You can get a ticket if your car has 2/32nd tread. That is unsafe. I pointed this out and he said it was a different vehicle he was talking about. I checked the oil and sticker in the window. The oil was new and the mileage match the vehicle. This told me, it did go through the shop and he lied to me! Nothing was done about this... I am very passed off. I was a cosigner for my niece and they made us sit there all day. It took 8 hrs for us to buy a vehicle from them.

    I got a car with a warranty not even 12 days ago. Called and texted one of the managers, few days go by didn't hear from him. I show up at the store. They got done looking at the vehicle. Said nothing was wrong. The manager that sold me the car started getting very rude and disrespectful in my opinion.
    Drove it home with my kids nothing was fixed.. still had the same issues. Told him I'm to the point where I don't even want this car anymore. Manager said regardless this is your car.
    Day 2: I go pick up my client next day (day 10) .. my electric module(screen) my ac and heat xidnt work.. wasn't able to change setting.Went back to kia dealt with a different manager.. I sat in waiting room for almost 3 hrs. Only had got talked too twice by sales person. Let a voice-mail. (No return call) I needed to picked up my kids. Looked at my paperwork they gave me.. didn't have the fine print to my warranty/policy.
    Day 3: left 2 different voice-mail to two different people. (No call back) I had to work can't afford missing more days off to take care/ try to talk to someone.
    Day 4: I show up at 906. Seen both of the guys I worked with they both dodged me.
    I do not recommend kia to anyone especially if buying used vehicles. Poor customer service skills. Not at all trustworthy. They say they will walk you threw it and helpful with any questions you have but yet it's pulling teeth to talk to someone to even if it's just about your warranty and policy.

    After a test drive, we decided to purchase a vehicle. However, when reviewing the dealership’s offer for our trade in, it was significantly lower than expected. We asked if they could increase their offer, to which they answered “no” & our sales rep casually mentioned “I’m not sure our sales manager wants to make a deal with you at all at this point.”
    We asked our sales rep to have a few minutes to discuss what we wanted to do about the trade in (whether we wanted to do the trade in or keep our current car and sell it later on our own). We did not in any way express that we were not moving forward with purchasing the vehicle. During this time, another sales rep came over and took the keys for the vehicle we were in the middle of purchasing.
    We decided to move forward with the trade in and agreed to everything the dealership put in front of us. We signed off on the deal, but were told we couldn’t move forward because the vehicle was on a test drive and the current driver would be given first priority on if she wanted to purchase it or not.
    We were incredibly frustrated and asked to speak to the sales manager directly. Manager Matt Strehlow said that he assumed we wouldn’t sign a deal since the trade in was lower than expected (that was never something we mentioned and that we had to wait until the current test driver made a decision. He never asked us if we would be moving forward or let us know that if we didn't agree quickly that the vehicle would be up for grabs. We were completely blindsided!
    He asked for us to be understanding, but never apologized or took ownership of the fact that the whole situation was handled poorly and with a lack of transparency. Instead we waited 20 mins for the other driver to return even though we had already agreed to their deal AND had already started filling out the necessary paperwork for financing. This car was literally ripped out from under us because we took a few extra minutes to agree to the deal and asked a few questions.

    This dealership did not show me my credit score nor did they give me the banks that approved my loans. They had a 3rd person being the messenger instead of me just sitting in the finance person office. So I as a customer would know what is going on. Instead I had to sit out in the lobby and had a lady come to me and keep asking me questions. Not very professional nor is it ethical on their part.

    Why don't you tell buyers of your used vehicles that the model has an engine recall. Was told that there was nothing wrong with it, which is obiviously a false statement. Did my maintenance as close as I could to schedule, but engine went bad. According to a trusted mechanic I need a new engine. *** calls for all maintenance records and since they don't have records of old maintenance, I have to pay $5k plus to get it fix. Worst part of whole thing is that I am still paying on it for new 2 years.Thought others should know!!!!!
