    I don't believe the review about it being a positive experience. ***** pays people to leave good reviews. ***** charged me a 50% deposit to repair my dishwasher. He never showed up and ghosted my phone calls, texts, and emails

    Terrible experience with ***** at Ridge Appliance.!!!***** told me he could repair my Subzero refrigerator over the phone, arrived the day before Thanksgiving, Nov 22, 2023 with a refrigerator full of food. He determined it was over 2 years old so the warranty was no longer valid and He needed a 50% down payment of $1000.00 to order parts- I paid him $200.00 for the service call and he left. Later that day I learned my refrigerator was still Under warranty but ***** was Not a Licensed repairman for my appliance so warranty would be void if he did the work. He agreed to refund the $1000.00 over the phone - it is now Jan 25, ****, but since I had no paper work documenting his withdrawal from my account, the credit card company cannot help me. After numerous unanswered calls and emails, ***** says he believes the money has been refunded but there is no record in my account.     Scam Alert!! I had ***** come out to repair my Fridge the week before Christmas. He gave me quote, told me he needed 60% down payment to order parts. The following week, I checked in to see if the parts had arrived. He replied that they had been delayed. A few more days pass and I again checked in. We scheduled a day and time to have him come out to complete the repair. That was more than 3 weeks ago and since that time he has set 4 different appointments that he has no call/ no showed. Dont waste your time or money and just call someone else.

    Do NOT do business with this awful company!! I should have done more research before calling them because there are so many terrible reviews all over, describing almost exactly what happened to me. After rescheduling my original appointment two times, their clown of a "tech," *****, came out and said it would be over $600 to fix a small gas leak on my kitchen stove. He had to order parts and charged me 50% up front and said he would be back in a couple of days. After not hearing anything for a week, I called their number repeatedly until I was finally able to get a hold of someone. They use a third party for their operator, who knows absolutely nothing, they only deal with scheduling. The operator ensured me she would get ahold of ***** and find out when he would be back with the part. I never heard a thing back and tried reaching out again several times with no luck. After reading many reviews after the fact, I realized I was among the many others who were completely scammed by this horrible company! I do not understand how they can still be in business after they have committed fraud over and over again. Who ever runs this phony "company" should be punished by the law!!

    Do not do business with this "company". Gave me a 4-hour window for arrival. No call, no show. Very poor service and customer respect.

    I'm a Caregiver to an elderly couple who needed their ice maker fixed. Ridge Appliance came out and ************************* did a diagnostic. He told us he would order the part and be back in 4 days. No call no show on their part. I called the office and spoke to ***** who assured me she would find out what was going on and call us right back. She of course never did. I left many vmails asking for someone to please let us know what was going on?! Nobody ever did. I went on their website and left a 1 star review and explained what was happening. The next morning I get an email saying if I don't take down the review they would not be sending any tech out. Oh!! Did I mention that my clients had to pay almost $600 up front?!! After some thought I did take the review down and ***** was out at their place right away to put the new part in. The couple was relieved. ALSO ***** was texting me on my personal phone with threats that he was gonna contact my employer of all people to tell them I left a nasty review! He then cyber stalked me to get that information. Needless to say I put back up my review. He has since still been texting me, harassing me and stalking me. The guy is serious crazy and I'm now sending all evidence to the proper authorities. DO NOT use this company!!!

    This was truly an awful experience. After coming to my home to provide a diagnostic to fix my freezer, we were told that they would be able to come fix it the next week. Monday arrives and it wasn't until my wife and I called them that it was explained to us that a part needed to be ordered but that they would be in the next day to fix it. The next day I was alerted that they would need to reschedule once again and that this would be the last time. On the third day I was in steady communication with the technician and was told to unplug me fridge to let it though. I had to take off an extra day of work to be at home during the Noon - 4pm time frame they provided. It wasn't until I called multiple times that I finally got in touch with someone and was informed that the technician actually would not be coming today, but I would be getting a full refund. A week passed and still no refund. Then for days I was in text message back and forth with the owner( *****) and he refused to refund me the money unless I remove this review expressing the frustration with their service... That's almost $400 that they are refusing to refund me and my family. If it's happening to us I'm sure it's happening to others After some digging, we have uncovered that ***** is indeed a con artist and has been charged in other states for doing exactly what he has done to our family. ***** and his company must be stopped and we must ensure that he can no longer scan families across our communities.

    So, this scam company somehow closed themselves down and just "re-opened" a new file for themselves on 8/18/23, which means all their old reviews and D+ rating are gone. Here is mine, again:I was happy to find a service that was willing to come look at our broken refrigerator on a weekend, so we didn't do our due diligence in researching them. I saw lots of stars on the ****** and thought they were legit. The repair person, *****, was a half hour late from the 4 hour window he was supposed to arrive on Sunday 7/31/23. He literally just looked at the fridge and said it needed a new compressor that wasn't covered under warranty. He gave us a story about how the *** lowered refrigerant standards of some kind so companies were able to build cheaper compressors that broke easily. He typed some stuff in his phone and asked us to sign agreeing to the work. Here's our mistake: We were signing a blank screen! We had no idea what we were actually agreeing to! They could have electronically added any terms they wanted above our signature. We were panicked (no fridge! all that food!) and paid half of the repair cost up front plus extra to have the part shipped overnight, arriving on Tuesday. Well, every day for four days I called and texted and kept getting a different story for why they couldn't fix our fridge--sick tech, part arrived broken, etc.We spent a week without a fridge when we could have bought a new one for almost the same cost as the repair.In their old BBB file, this outfit had tons of complaints and were really aggressive with customers posting their negative experiences. The absolute kicker: I finally called ** customer service and was told that our ********************** WAS covered under warranty! Liars and scammers! Learn from our experience and stay away!Additionally, 2 weeks after posting my original BBB complaint (on August 4) and now they're claiming they will send me a refund check tomorrow if I take down my negative ****** review tonight. Hah!
