      Warning About Jefferson Lines A Cautionary Tale From a Former Trainee I feel compelled to share my experience with Jefferson Lines to warn others, especially those considering leaving a stable job to accept a position with this company.I was offered a position and left another job based on an official offer letter. I traveled to ********* and completed their required training program successfully. When I returned to *********** for the mentorship phase of the job, I was abruptly terminated without any written warning, coaching, or conversation. The reason given? That I had allegedly "complained" about the erratic schedule while adjusting to the trainingnot to HR, not in a formal setting, but in a casual conversation with a manager while still in *********. That comment was apparently reported to headquarters, and I was let go without anyone even speaking to me first. I received a text to report to work at 11:45 PM, then later another text saying my mentorship was terminated.I was blindsided and put in a severe financial bind with no explanation, no opportunity to clarify, no accountability from management. It felt like a clear example of poor communication and a toxic good ol' boy system. Diversity in leadership? Nonexistent. Support and respect for trainees or new hires? Lacking.There were a few bright spotsmy trainer in *********, **** was excellent and professional. But much of what I experienced was fake smiles and backdoor politics.Jefferson Lines talks a big game about safety and professionalism, but from my experience, they do not prioritize employee well-being, family balance, or transparency. This company operates on favoritism, and if youre not part of the inner circle, you're expendable.Think twice before accepting a position hereespecially if it means leaving something stable. You deserve better.

      I had the worst experience of my life traveling on Jefferson lines I took a bus from ****** to ******* to pick up my 10 year old child they trip there was great but after I got my child and we headed back to ****** the driver experienced some bad weather in ************ and was driveing in a blizzard!! Rolled the bus with 13 people on it injured me 10 year old she had to have surgery and I will never walk the same!!! If I could give them 0 stars I would I would not recommend this bus company to anyone!!!

      **************** was completely absent. The woman who I tried to speak to was extremely rude and sexist. Even made an offhanded comment about me, a man, asking for directions but refused to help me and told me to stop wasting her time and sit down. I nearly missed my bus if it hadn't been for another customer telling me which bus. Never will use any bus service again.

      I had a driver harass my son leaving ********** ****. Time was 10:00 pm on Monday my son did nothing wrong. He was being rude.This bus was headed to kansas citybus 706 number on bus was2018 license plate *******. I expect something should be done or I'll go further with this.he has a witness

      I ordered 4 tickets (2 for me and 2 for my 8 year old) for September 29th to leave Hibbing Mn going to ****** and then a ticket for a bus boarding from ****** to *********** due to there not being a straight shot bus. My bus (schedule JL 920) was set to arrive at 9:55 am in ********** and arrive in ****** at 11:30 where I would then board the bus in ****** at 12:05 to head to ***********. I also had returning tickets. I had my two small children with me one who was only a few months. The bus was 30 minutes late which isn't unusual when I decided to call and they let me know the bus was canceled and if I wanted a refund I would have to fill out a form online. They denied my refund until I argued with them and they agreed for the one they canceling but not my connecting or returning that I could no longer get to due to them canceling the first bus because. Not only did I not get an email or information about my bus getting canceled and being outside with my small children for over an hour I was also out of hundred of dollars. AVOID THEM AT ALL COST.

      On June 7th, I booked a trip from *********, IA to ******** that would leave at 4 pm on June 14th and arrive at my final destination 24 hours later. After my layover at the ***********************, 5 minutes before boarding the bus, I was informed that the route I was boarding, JL_927, would not be going beyond ******** because they didn't have a driver. I continued on to ******** because being 47 miles away was better than being 175 miles away. After being ABANDONED there, I paid another $89 for a Lyft for the remaining 47 miles of the trip. Any and all interactions with Greyhound (and Jefferson Lines) were met with nothing but a brick wall, except for a pittance offering of $26.88, good ONLY towards another bus trip.

      I had to purchase my bus ticket online (None refundable) because first off they shut down the office in the city I live in February 5th 2024 so I couldn't purchase the ticket (refundable). So I tried to call customer service to buy the ticket but lo and behold I couldn't get a hold of the ticket seller rep. All I want is a refund.

      I request a refund and compensation for the unprofessionalism and inconvenience.I arrived for the 12:30 bus at 11am (JL 909, Order #*******).There was no Jefferson sign anywhere but I asked 2 help desk workers who said the bus would be at the ************** area. At 12:28 there was still no sign of Jefferson bus, so I called your office. A nice worker confirmed I was in the right spot and told me it was delayed 20 minutes. After more than 20 min passed another passenger said she saw a Jefferson bus drive by without entering the parking area, just kept driving. We called the office again and the worker put me on hold for a while then eventually told us that the bus already came at 11am. I said thats unacceptable because our tickets say 12:30 departure (actually the other girl had a 12:35 departure on a separate bus that they said came and went and there was nothing they could doso 2 Jefferson busses failed to actually show up and collect paid passengers). The worker checked again and said actually they changed their minds and my bus was coming but delayed by 57 minutes (the other girl booked through greyhound so the Jefferson worker said shed have to contact greyhound). I waited until 3pm and it never showed up. I attempted to call the office again multiple times after that and left 3 messages but no one answered and the bus never came.After waiting nearly 3 hours I lost all hope of this bus existence and I needed to adjust travel plans. I booked another much more reliable bus company to get me home, which cost me more money and 4 extra hours of time. Transportation companies need to be reliable and professional, and this was unacceptable. No communication or any signs indicating the pickup point, no contact with passengers leading up to the supposed pickup, and varying information from Jefferson workers on the phone before they ghosted me altogether by refusing to answer or call back. Please make this right.

      What a worthless bus company. Today my wife was traveling from ********* to ***********. They made a stop in ****** **, for bathrooms and lunch or whatever, and the driver said he'd leave in 20 minutes. My wife went to a bathroom, and is hyper cautious about time. She came out about 4-5 minutes before the 20 minute time had elapsed, and saw the bus pulling away.There were not that many people on the bus, and driver apparently made no effort to count heads or check for stuff on seats to make sure he wasn't leaving anyone. Dumb and lazy.All her stuff except purse is on this bus. Daughter in MPLS had to rush down to ****** (2 hrs each way) in pouring rain to pick up my wife. Daughter's boyfriend has all my wife's booking and confirmation info and is going to try to get her stuff when the bus arrives in MPLS. But he's been told the driver may not release my wife's luggage to him, since he is not her. This is ridiculous.I had a call in to their ************************ could not get a live person, and had to leave a voice mail which they said they'd return. Still waiting. Our first time using Jefferson instead of actual Greyhound, and will never do it again.Company owes my wife a refund on her ticket, as well as reimbursing my daughter mileage for the 4 hour round trip to get my wife after Jefferson left her stranded in ******.

      Stranded my grandson half way home. A common occurrence here in Northern *********. Refuse to issue refund or voucher.
