Zero Star Rating, I own a truck repair shop of 30 + years. Purchased a DT466E complete drop in engine from Reviva, installed in truck, ran ok, made it 180 miles, towed back to shop! Blew #4 injector out of hole, put hole through valve cover, Reviva won't pay the towing! They won't pay for a oil change even though it was 4 gallons overfull, solid fuel in oil! So, they gave me a 1 injector, new bolts, injector cup I WANTED A NEW HEAD, they said NO!, So, I did what I was told to fix, sent it back to customer, made it another 200 miles has fuel/oil in antifreeze. Brought back to me again, cylinder head leaking fuel into coolant same cylinder, So after bunch of BS they sent me a new cylinder head, installed on truck. Runs good now, the antifreeze is solid fuel/oil, go to get paid for their POS engine only paid 47.3% of what I billed them, what a crock! Won't pay for towing even though brand new engine made it 180 Miles Won't pay for oil and filter, even though oil 4 gallons overfull of diesel. Won't pay for antifreeze full of diesel fuel and engine oil. Won't pay for half of the labor bill, now as a shop owner I have hard time billing the customer they spent a ton of cash on a pos engine! I WILL NEVER EVER USE ANY OF REVIVA PRODUCTS AGAIN! So, whoever reads this don't waste your money on any REVIVA products, it's all JUNK!!!!! spend the extra money and get an OEM reman or overhaul it yourself!

Terrible experience.Had a crib death engine which happens, you install enough engines and you’re going to have some issues. In my experience comebacks and warranty problems are inevitable but it’s also how you handle it that can solidify customers. Upon dealing with their warranty we were advised they would cover labor not parts. (fair enough). We were instructed to remove turbo, exhaust manifold, then injectors and then injection pump. All of which they initially refused to cover under warranty on an engine with ZERO miles and ZERO hours.
Engine was installed and fired up smoking out the shop completely right away. IMMEDIATELY contacted the distributor as well as Reviva to inform them of an issue. Was instructed we would have to wait until the warranty paperwork filled out by me made it back to Reviva via mail. Upon starting the warranty process we were instructed to first remove the turbo and exhaust manifold to check which cylinders were causing the issue. They sent injectors and had us swap them out. Issue remained. We pulled injection pump off and shipped it to them so they could go through it. Showed back up a few weeks later was installed and the bus could finally be driven safely. After formally submitting my claim to be re-reimbursed for the labor time put into their engine. Weeks and multiple phone call had passed to be finally told that they believe the injection pump had been "messed" with. Countless emails and phone calls to follow to their local rep, most of which were unanswered. After WEEKS had gone by and they agreed to cover partial labor coverage REGARDLESS of all parts installed were directly from them by their diagnosis.
I would not recommend dealing with the company. PERIOD. ALL ROADS which is a major dealership network all across the east coast has black balled them over similar problems of them standing behind their product. If they were will willing the bite the hand that feeds them directly, what do you believe they will do you?

Riviva is an absolute joke. Their motors are **** and they do not stand behind them. We bought a complete long block and a short block the long block pull up 70 miles in. The short block made it 7000 miles. Worked with her warranty department and the vice president of sales. They pretty much told us we are **** out of luck. I would not recommend buying anything from this company ever.

Warranty claim denied after 3900 miles on new LS 6.0 L engine installed. Truck burned 3 quarts of oil over 3900 miles. Attempted to contact reviva, they denied the claim saying the heat tabs were melted (which they are not), continue to provide poor customer service. Engine is burning oil. Will not stand behind product.

The absolute worst company to buy anything from, there are NO new parts they are used or "within spec" direct from their mouth. They take forever to get back to you, you have to hound them 2 or 3 times a day to get anywhere. The warranty is junk and they do not stand behind their product. Currently having to replace the REVIVA junk with another motor. The REVIVA motor was plagued with problems from day 1, and I have all documentation to prove it. I have and am in the process of taking REVIVA to court to try and recoup the money that cost twice what a crate motor would have by the end. DO NOT BUY REVIVA!!! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!! REVIVA = SCAMMERS, LIERS, CHEATERS, THIEVES!!!!
