They are simply thieves. You pay via them, but they will not pay the companies who use their service. And they do not refund you with all kinds of excuses. I will involve the authorities. this is FRAUD. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

Illegally shared customer information. I canceled a subscription with them but them was charged through a different retailer and was told DigitalRiver passed the sale I did not authorize onto them. They lie and share your billing info. Don't do business with them.

After being in business for 17 years, I will more than likely be closing my software business due to lack of payment from Digital River, Inc., the company that handled my credit card transactions for most of those years. Along with many other clients who use their services, we have been unsuccessful in getting paid for sales that we've made in the past several months. I've not been paid for my sales since last June and I just cannot stay in business much longer. My attempts to contact them have thus far been ignored. I would discourage anyone from using their service in the future.

I have been using Digital River to sell software for over 10 years, but the recent changes have been quite disappointing. Most notably, I have yet to receive the payment for July, which is over 60 days. This delay is making me concerned about the financial stability of Digital River. Is the company experiencing financial difficulties, or is it possibly heading toward closure? I would appreciate your clarification on this matter and a timeline for when I can expect the payment.

Do not ever order anything through Digital River. I ordered AVG Internet security from them. ( Actually, I wouldn't order anything from AVG either.) They charged my Paypal for a renewal with out informing me. It was also $20 more than the first charge charge. I got the run-around big time from both companies. when I tried to dispute the charge with Dig Riv, all I got was an auto-reply email. I did finally get a "support" phone number for Dig Riv and they said AVG was responsible for refunding. AVG said the same thing about Dig Riv. AVG doesn't even show my subscription for that service as being renewed, so I was charged $99 for nothing.

We were billed by AVG International for software after the company had closed along with debit cards. Regions bank allowed the charges to go through several days after the closure. Digital River does the billing for AVG. We have been trying since May 1 to get our funds back that they drafted from our Account. AVG and Digital River have requested our Bank information 5 times in order to send out funds back. We have provided the information each time. And each time were told that we would receive our funds within 10 days.. When the funds did not arrive, we called again and again were asked for our banking information. We are now nearly 3 months down the road and have not received our funds Yesterday, we were asked for a copy of our Bank Statement with the same information we had giver them. My opinion is Digital River and AVG International is working a scam and do not want to correct their mistakes.

I was charged for a product that did not work. I asked for a cancellation and refund and they cancelled my subscription but did not give a refund. They never gave me the complete information needed to register my purchase so the system would not allow me to register my software therefore I could not use it. After 2 weeks of back and forth, they said they cannot give me a refund since it's not a technical issue. I see other people complained about them too. This fonedog company is based out of Germany.

Zero stars if possible. Took 330.00 from my account without receiving products. Contact number is disconnected. Email responses tell me I need to communicate with product website, replying to the digital river email is no help either, as the same generic response is generated back.

charging me for something I have never received is fraudulant the number listed to call them has been disconnected. How can you fix things if you can;t talk to them. In order to message them you have to have an order number. well I don't have a number cause I have never ordered from them, yet they can still charge me. Please include me in a class action lawsuit. I would be glad to join

You CAN'T TRUST THE MOTOROLA DEFY SAFETY SATELLITE. I bought a Motorola defy satellite around June 30th 2023, and digital River Inc is the distributor and who charges you. It should come with a 1 year basic plan. After 3 months on a Saturday they sent me an email that they will start charging me $4.99 in less than 12 hours. Luckily I was home and cancelled the "paid subscription" just to find myself with NO PLAN, and I was supposed to go in the Utah back country in 2 days the next Monday. Logged in a ticket Bullitt Support - Case zero one four two for four eight, I emailed them every single day and messaged them on Facebook. After 5 BUSINESS DAYS I called them , and the lady said she cannot help me and I need to wait for the ticket response. EXCRUCIATING BUGGY AND PAINFUL TO DEAL WITH THEM.
