    I had my 1958 Corvette towed by ******** Towing. They bent the tie rod ends when they towed it & caused $685.24 in damage.

    Williams Towing and Repair damaged the under carriage of my vehicle a 2010 VW Tiguan plate number PEL 662. Damages were as follows: steering wheel 90 degrees out of alignment. Passenger side control arm and sway bar damage as well as driver side rear lower control arm bent and creased.Williams Towing and Repair / owner ******************* as well as ************************* of ** Impound of *********** have received pictures of claimed damages forwarded by *********** Repair ************ who performed inspection and repairs.Repair costs were covered by ******************************* [owner of damaged vehicle] because Williams Towing and Repair would not furnish insurance information.

    Thank you for the details regarding ********************** complaint. I have reviewed the information and would like to explain how we at *******'s Towing tried to accommodate this matter. 

    Due to the concerns that were arisen, *******'s Towing requested that we have the ability to inspect the vehicle to verify if the damages in question were caused by our machinery and/or operations of our driver. 

    I had spoken with ******************** myself, and informed him that I would like to pick up his vehicle, at no cost to him, to have it fully inspected. I explained to him that if the inspection found that the damages were a result of our operation or machinery, *******'s Towing would fully replace and repair any damage that was caused at our shop, or would pay for it to be repaired at a shop of his choosing.

    ******************** initially agreed, however called back to cancel and refused for the vehicle to be inspected. ******************** later spoke with ************************* at the impound lot who encouraged him to allow the inspection. ******************** then agreed to allow the vehicle to be picked up, however, when our driver was on the way, he called and again refused inspection of the vehicle for a second time. 

    We did later receive pictures, however, it is unable to be determined by said pictures what damages were in question, or if they were in fact caused by ******'s Towing machinery or operator error. This is why it was requested that ******************** allow an inspection to take place when the initial concern was presented. Now that the repairs have taken place, we are unable to properly complete an inspection to confirm the claims that ******************** has made.

    At this time, without having had the opportunity to inspect the vehicle, and having made multiple reasonable efforts to assist in our ability to do so, I do not feel that it is *******'s Towing's responsibility to cover the costs of the repairs that ******************** has made without allowing inspection to occur.
