  I had an extremely frustrating and disappointing experience with *****************************, owner of Jet-Black of St. Cloud. Here are the main issues I faced:Poor Communication Last-Minute Rescheduling Lack of Notification Incomplete and Poor Quality Work Accusations of being Dishonest Frustrating Resolution Attempts Expert Advice Ignored Final Payment Demand In summary, I paid $200 for a driveway that looks terrible, with streaks, a hole, and signs of further issues. I deeply regret choosing Jet-Black of St. Cloud and will never make that mistake again. The total discount I received was $25, but the principle and quality of service were severely lacking. Avoid this company if you value your time, money, and sanity. In hindsight, I should have checked his BBB rating prior and saw that it is an F and I will never make that mistake again.

  I am sorry you are frustrated with the experience. However I think it is important to look at the facts of what happened. 

  1st. We texted you what day we were coming, and you texted back confirmation. 

  2nd. My employee knocked on your door/rang your doorbell and nobody answered. 

  3rd. You came out 3/4 of the way done with the project and said you needed to get your car out in 2 hours.

  It is not my fault you were unprepared as a customer, and thus caused tire marks throughout your driveway because it had not fully cured. We came out at no extra cost to the customer to try and fix that issue. The customer was made aware that it might not fix the issue, but we would do our best. It didn't fix the issue caused by the customer, and thus the customer wanted us to redo the job fully at no cost to him, or not pay for the driveway. I had many conversations with the customer, but he was unwilling to accept any responsibility, and wanted me to cover for his mistakes. 

  I have owned this company for years and have never run into this issue before, it is not a common occurrence, and if we do something as a company we will do anything in our power to fix it, but to expect us to keep coming out and trying to fix your mistake at no extra charge is not fair either.

  Dont even know how to sum up the horror of it all! The worst company for crack filling and seal coating. I am not sure what they used, but I could have sprayed painted my driveway and done a better job! Within a week ants remade their homes through the cracks! Not many cracks were filled, and the ones that were, re-cracked within a month. The bluish/Black/gray stuff that was sprayed even washed away after several rain storms. Crew was supposed to come back to fill cracks and reseal a couple days later but almost 5 months later into October finally showed up, pretending that they were going to work and within 10 to 15 minutes later left doing nothing yet, except threatening me to pay them now That they will give me roughly a 10% discount off what they called previous work, and then leave never to return, option two is to pre-pay with them for the previous balance some work supposedly done cashing my check and then come back to redo, (as I should really believe that option - NOT) or option three to *** me while stating that they win 100% of the time through the corporate jet black. One of the two guys (****** brother *******) even called 911 stating I was holding them hostage at my home while I was standing by his truck. I was asking why his boss (brother) had promised the night before to make it right the next day, only to have these 2 show up, never intending to do anything (didnt even have pressure washer, equipment, or anything on site, which they would need to do if they were going to work). After calling ***** the owner/boss myself because they wouldnt while I was there, I am hoping they will make it right, at least fill the cracks, and he stated he would re-seal in the spring under warranty. He apologized for his brother saying he should have called me directly. Not sure what to believe. At this point, I am stuck, but to others, I would say, stay away! If they make this right, Ill update the review. Very stressful with dangerous employee personality.

  The quote was to fill cracks, edge and seal coat. I was not home when they did the project. When I got home, I immediately took photos and contacted them and said how disappointing I was because it did not appear any of the cracks were filled. Took a couple days for them to get back to me were they try to explain that the crack sealer would sink down in the cracks if theyre deep. ultimately, they said they would come back last Thursday or Friday and fix the problem its an easy fix now it is Monday and Ive had no contact with them. Initially, I said I would not pay for the job until it was done to what they said they would do. I realize not all cracks can be filled. But they could do much much better than they did.

  Just got totally ripped off by Jet Black Sealcoating of St. Cloud **. Did not clean surface prior to spraying, not careful when brushing sealcoating to the concrete apron and told me they would apply two coats but just applied one very, very, very light coat and did not overlap leaving a blotchy appearance. Did not tape off or barricade the sprayed area. They only went thru the motions to collect $900. Plus drove on the lawn with the truck and trailer ripping out a piece of grass 1ft by 2ft and leaving a spin **** in the grass from one of the tires. These guys are a joke!!!
