Bought a 2022 cfmoto 600 touring back in November 2022. Atv has around **** miles and has been in the shop 3 different times for clutch belt and bearing issues . Currently in service now since 5 of July. They have replaced belt and clutch bearings and still Atv is hard to shift and will move by itself when in gear . Techs are unable to figure out problem and cfmoto will not stand behind warranty or do anything to help fix issue. Have spent over ****.00 in service repairs for same issue and still not working properly. Cfmoto needs to refund repair money or be willing to exchange Atv. When you try to contact cfmoto they give you the run around and say there is nothing they can do. This is not the way to do business in America. Stand behind your product and understand when there is a legitimate issue.Business Response

Took cf moto into dealer due to loss of power. Upon inspection water was located inside fuel tank causing fuel pump and injectors to crash. Eater was entering through system do to the fuel pump mounting to fuel tank improperly. Cf moto warranty is declining warranty because of improper storage and misuse. Dealer has found no signs of flooding side by side. Vehicle was stored inside garage and a car port. Im seeking my money returned or it paid to dealer for parts and labor. **************** has one rep that answers and no one else to talk to. **************** is bad through cf moto. Cannot talk to anyone to resolve any issues.Customer Answer

Hello, It's unfortunate that you've had trouble with your CFMOTO ZFORCE 800 EX.
After a review of the dealer's notes in the warranty claim that was filed, the decision to deny warranty coverage was correct. The dealer's comments state "(fuel) cap was left loose and let water get into the fuel system". Fuel issues are not due to a product defect which would be covered by warranty.
We understand that you don't agree with this decision but appreciate your purchase of a CFMOTO product.
Thanks,
CFMOTO

Bought a 22 Cfmoto UFORce ****xl. Warranty expires in October of 2023. Engine blew up with 40 hours on the clock. Unit has been at the dealer for 3 MONTHS because Cfmoto doesnt have an available replacement engine. I have made 3 PAYMENTS and lost 3 months worth of warranty time due to the unit sitting at the dealership waiting for an engine.Business Response

Thanks for your feedback. We want to make sure your vehicle gets repaired and you can fully enjoy it as soon as possible.
The first thing needed is a VIN number or specific owner information so we can track the unit and discuss it with the dealer.
Depending on the findings of that research, we will address time that you have been without the use of your vehicle.
Please get the Vehicle Identification Number to me as soon as you can so we can move forward.
Thanks,

Purchased 2023 CFMoto Uforce ****xl on June 9th 2023. Brought it home and wouldn't start and wasn't going into gear We tried taking it out on June 15th which was the following week when my husbands days off again. Didn't even get to do anything it wouldnt go anywhere We loaded it up and realized it was leaking something. At first thought it might be oil. We contacted our salesman right then. He said he would have service call us. That didn't happen Finally we got service and they said to bring it in on Wednesday the 21st right at 9am. The service team tried to to say we would be charged for a diagnostic fee. We said absolutely No. CFMoto has 1 year warranty and we haven't even been able to use it because something is wrong with it so they better figure it out. We left it and told them that we better hear something back that day. They called us right before noon and said that they found a seal that was leaking and that's what would have to be fixed. Service stated they got the approval from CFmoto to do the repairs and we said obviously it's a brand new unit and hasn't been used. They then called us back later and said the part was on national back order until August. We said try again we did not buy a unit for it to sit at a shop and then us end up going into winter and not being able to use it that either they can figure out another solution or CFMoto can have the unit back and refund our money this is ridiculous. The service department called us back later and said that they had found another part that would take over a week to get in but was better than August so we waited for the part to come in. Repaired is complete per servive but now they are not releasing the unit because they said that they need an approval from CFMoto to release the unit. WHAT. I thiught they got their approval before the fix why is there ahold on our unit now? CFMoto answers no phone calls. Our unit is still sitting at the shop? CFMoto call it a lemon and give us our money back.Business Response

We have researched this complaint and found that the product in question has been repaired and returned to the customer. While parts delays are unfortunate, we are pleased that this has been resolved and the customer has the unit back fully functional.
Anytime a unit has a mechanical issue, we work closely with the local CFMOTO dealer to correct the issue as soon as possible. One the product is repaired, we expect the unit to be returned to the customer. We cannot speak to as to why the dealer retained the unit pending approval from CFMOTO. That is not our policy. Once the repair is authorized, the dealer completes the job and returns the unit to the customer as soon as possible. Perhaps there was a miscommunication from the dealer that lead to that. It was brought in around June 21st and returned around July 9th
The unit was successfully repaired and we've been told the unit is back in the hands of the owner. This matter is consider closed at this point unless new information is presented.

Purchased a 2022 CF Moto ZForce 950 in January. Took delivery that afternoon and questioned how it drove at that time. Was told by *****, (delivery driver) that it was normal and would break in. **vember 10th we took it in for service with 185 miles and 30 hours on it. Received a phone call the next day telling me that the drive belt needed to be replaced. Cost to repair $500. How in Gods name can the drive belt be worn out in 185 miles? ** major off-roading, water crossings or hotrodding. The dealership nor CF Moto can offer any answers. Extremely frustrated and disappointed at the lack of customer care taken.Business Response

Thanks for your feedback. Belts can need replacing for reasons including using low or high gear in the wrong situations for an extended time.
First thing needed is the dealer you purchased/serviced the vehicle through and the *** #.
Once we can get those, we will discuss what the dealer found wrong and what they believe the root cause of the failure is. Then we can decide the proper resolution based on that information.
Thanks,
CFMOTO

I purchased a CF Moto Uforce 800 in July 2021. Since then I have put less than 200 miles on it. I had to bring it in for repair in May 2022 due to leaking coolant. The technician said it was very odd for this unit to have a coolant leak. It took 2 months to repair and get the parts. **** they finally got the parts, they found multiple more issues with the machine which took longer to repair. I am very worried about the durability of the UForce 800 since there have been many issues and it has less than 200 miles. **** asking for a longer warranty, CFMoto only wanted to extend the warranty by 2 months. I asked to see if we could get a longer extension on July 25,2022 and have yet to receive a response.Business Response

The unit was purchased in July 2021 and brought in for repairs May of 2022. It's unfortunate that it took a couple of months for the dealer to get parts and complete the repairs. For that delay, we offered to extend the warranty for the two month period that the customer was without his product.
Adding a year additional warranty is excessive given the unit was within 2-3 month of expiration when brought to the dealer.
We will add three months to the warranty.

I am rejecting this response because:
This is a brand new machine and the reason for it being in the mechanics shop so long was also because the mechanic said he kept finding mechanical problems with it. He also stated he had never seen these problems on a brand new machine like ours. I believe this company needs to stand behind their product and offer us a year of extended on the warranty. If this were a car it would fall under the lemon law. I called CF MOTO and a talked to representative regarding the issues and asked for an extended warranty. The representative told me that they couldnt offer us an extension unless the request would have to come through the business, ***** Sales, where we bought it from. We waited for over a month to hear anything from other CF MOTO or the business. I believe if this company truly had faith in their product they will give us a year warranty.Business Response

The vehicle was brought into the shop in the second part of May. The dealer completed the repairs July 1. The customer was without their vehicle for approximately 1.5 months. Certainly that is frustrating.
We have offered to extend the warranty by 3 months, double the time it was in the shop and out of service. We believe that adequately covers the customers missed time and inconvenience from the repair.

I purchased a 2019 CFMOTO new from a dealership in Bolivar **** in 2019. I travel the trails around my house at 10- ************** and my dog. After driving this machine for 2 1/2 yrs. ( excluding winter months September threw March when trails are closed). MY REAR DIDDERENTIAL IS GONE!!!!!! This machine is also garage kept. This should of never happened. The # 2 bolt that is in the center of of the pinion gear shaft snapped allowing the pinion gear to slide inside the case and tear it up. This bolt should bear no strain!! Definitely a faulty bolt!! I can assure this machine was never misused. I am a 63 yr old disabled man from a terrible work accident, which caused me to gave my back totally fused both hips replaced, shoulder replaced and foot damage. I love my CFMOTO it is one thing I look forward to enjoying. As my work life was spent outside. The cost to fix my CFMOTO is more than I can afford and I am asking for help from CFMOTO because I feel it was a manufacturer defect. Any help would be appreciated. We are sorry to hear about your situation. The best course of action is to always work with your local dealership to determine the lowest cost way to repair your vehicle. They are able to assess the reasons for the failure and offer the best course of action.
The vehicle is well outside the warranty period. If you believe that there is additional information that the dealer or CFMOTO needs to know, please work through your local dealer to get that information to us.
