      On the evening of September 27th I received a lease renewal for my unit (please note that my lease is set to end on November 30th) .I would have loved to stay in my unit but unfortunately, I could not afford the new price increase. I immediately went on a **** to find more affordable housing. On October 6th I notified management via email that I will not be renewing my lease. At that point I was told that I will have to stay at Preserve until December 31st or pay an improper notice fee of one month rent. I then called the office and spoke with *****. She explained to me that I would have needed to respond to the lease renewal by September 30th. This would have given me only 3 days to respond to the notice. I could not make an informed decision in the matter of 3 days. Instead I notified the management 7 business days after receiving the notice on my intent to vacate in 60 days. She also stated that notices were given out later than they normally would have because of new regional management. I feel as if the delayed lease notice was negligent on the management and I should not be penalized for it. I have emailed the new regional manager but I have not received a response.

      I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. I however did not receive the email notification from November 2nd. I would like this in writing.

      I have contacted them on multiple occasions about my security deposit return and havent not seen or heard anything back from them, its been over 2 months since i have moved out of the properties.

      I have been a resident of ********** Apts for seven years now. On August 28, 2022, heavy rainfall caused damage to the sheetrock in two rooms of my apt. and ruined the carpet. They had a restoration company out to suction water from the carpet within a day. Keep in mind, the sheetrock damage was only up to window level.I am 101 yrs old and they told me they would not do any further work on my apt until I stayed elsewhere. I did leave on Sept. 1 and have been displaced ever since. My family and I have heard every excuse imaginable as to why the company they hired has not completed this job. The tear-out of the sheetrock and removal of drying fans was done three weeks ago. This situation has caused me extreme stress both mentally and physically; I want some LEGITIMATE answers as to why my apartment is not ready. I need to be back in my apartment as I am STILL a paying tenant. The above email and phone number is for my niece to be contacted with my permission. I have trouble hearing, and communicating by phone is troublesome for me. This entire situation is bordering on inhumane and cruel treatment of an elderly person.

      Unfortunately, due to the major flash flooding that took place in DFW on 8/2/2022, the residents apartment leaked from the outside wall in,and caused major damage to two walls. We called out our restoration vendors to mitigate the water and cut at all damage. The next step required blowers and dehumidifiers to dry out the wet sheetrock. The site team has stayed in constant communication with the resident, and during the three-week process,estimates and insurance was processing and approving repairs to be made. To date, the leak has been repaired, and the sheetrock has been put up. The only pending task is painting the walls, which the sheetrock must dry first, and this will be complete on Monday, 10/3/2022. The resident has been informed and is pleased with current repairs.

       I am rejecting this response because:

      Yes, the walls have been repaired to my satisfaction; however, nothing has been mentioned about replacing the carpet that was damaged.  I have lived here

      almost 8 yrs now, and have been promised carpet cleaning numerous times; has never happened.  Now after the water damage, they took out a huge amount of the

      padding underneath; it is unacceptable that they are going to leave it this way.  I want either the carpet/pad replaced, or new padding installed and a thorough cleaning

      of the carpet throughout.  

      Plus I strongly disagree with the statement that the onsite team has been in constant communication with me; I was always the one contacting the onsite office personnel.

      Sometimes I got a call back; most of the time I did not.  I strongly believe my reaching out to the BBB and City of *********************** is the only reason I'm getting results now.

      In closing, I will not be satisfied until my carpet situation is taken care of.

      Thanks for your response, and we have assessed the carpet in question. It is our apology that in correcting and making the repairs, the carpet was not addressed. When we spoke to you over the phone to follow up, the carpet was not mentioned, and you stated you were pleased with the repairs, so again our apologies for not addressing the concern. After walking and assessing the area of carpet in concern, we have contracted our carpet vendors to replace the padding and to clean the carpet. If you'd like to discuss further, please feel free to give us a call, and or we can call to address any additional questions or concerns you may have. As of yesterday, you were made aware of our plans to correct, and was in agreeance, so thanks for the opportunity to make the repairs, and hope we can move forward and continue having you as a great resident.

      I applied for an apartment with The Reef in ********, ** in April-May, 2022 providing them with a $300 deposit. I was approved and the move in date was for **** and I moved to **. While waiting for it to be finished an unforeseen medical condition required me to move out of state before its completion. I contacted The Reef management twice the week of 8/21 explaining this and they advised my deposit would be returned. I gave them my SC address to forward the check but still have not received it. I left the state 8/27. The ** office is now closed. I have left several messages but no one has returned my calls. I called Dominion several times but they will not return my calls either. To date, I still have not received my $300 deposit.

      i have been trying to reach this company for months phone,e-mails,NO return to **** joined this company over 20 years ago.i own 1.6% on property here in ********.i have been trying to get my k-1 for 2021.also give them a change of address,and try to sell my shares back.

      I applied for a apartment at reefs ****** was preapproved waited several months for completion of building there in palmetto *******,, then I get a call from someone name ************************* asking about bank statements and she need to no about20 dollars and 10 dollars , which did not make any sense to me about an apartment. Then she sends me an email saying I have to much income to move in and i am denied an apartment , I told her this is incorrect asked her to send me fiqures... she did and she added the income to many times which she did see and corrected , , I try to call for help months ago no one will answer phone then she stated well your application will still be deined and I can reapply ,in 60 days which I told her i have packed gave up my apartment paid movers to *********** to ******* she laughed. then another person emailed me name *************************** stating application will stay denied conflicting information which the numbers and income speaks for it self , I asked that my file be review by someone because they were not professional and nor do they explain things correctly so a person can understand exactly what they wanted from you they made me feel humiliated worthless and i was a cheating lier, there was no need for all of this,, I never experience anything like this to QUALIFY FOR AN APARTMENT MY INCOME IS NOT OVER ,I was looking forward to moving to reefs ****** and making some new friends but this has just left me with no home , this experience has been traumatic and i should not have to jump through loops I was trying to find a nice places to live that was reasonable , its a 62 over building/ and we should be treated with more respect and helped if we need it , so to avoided any more drama and anymore conflict I said ok thankyou for all you done and have a nice day ,they have had my depoist from march on this unit 417 anything they ask for i mailed to them asap they dont answer calls . preapporval means nothing

      Suppl Security $17.00 per month x 12=$204 per year
      Gift Contribution from ***************************** $1350 per month x 12=$16,200 per year
      Huntington Bank total amount of deposits $3312 divided by 6 months $552 average per month=$6624per year
      ***** Fargo total amount of deposits $6328.60 divided by 6 months $1054.77 per month=$12,657.24 per year
      Total Income per year $45,816.84 and per our income guidelines for one person your income can not be over $36,300
      We do have to ask questions on deposits made to your accounts to determine income, if you feel this is not accurate please contact the Community Manager ******************************* at ************ ******************************************* to clarify these deposits into your accounts.

       I am rejecting this response because: My income was  calculated  wrong , I have  try to explain this to *************** and compliance department that  the deposit that were  in my *************** were not income  and were used for items to buy items for my Grandchildren from there mother 
      , not income  and it would not be a recurring thing  and **************************** had ask what  were those pass deposit for,  And I  told her what I used them for and that they are not recurring deposit  not Income  , yet  they still included this in my income she said she need clarification on all past deposits in my ***** fargo account I told her that these  deposit were made by my  Gift donor ***************************** yes   but they would  not be recurring and the money that he had deposit into my account were for car repairs car insurance to buy packing supplies to move  to florida but it was not income  ,  Ms ***** ask for a letter stating that my donor did deposit the money into my account and when I spoke with her I explained to her what the past  deposit over 6 months were for best as I could and  also spoke with her on the phone about my donor is only providing me with **** per , month  which in 12 months would be ****** per year and my social security is ****** per month totaling  ****** per year , and this was to help me have   income to  be able to  lease unit and pay rent , I call Ms ***** several times no answer  and  I try to explain it to compliance officer  Ms ******* and someone else name  ****** and was told no were going to denie your application and send you your refund and I was told I could reapply in 60 days at this time they were releaseing  my unit 417  ,  I was not treated fairly they refuse to try to understand about the past deposit who knew this would be an issue, how can you use past depoist as income and there not something that will  be recurring ,  ,

      I have made numerous attempts to contact Dominium Management Services/Properties for six months via the phone number provided which is ************** and via email provided on their website, with no response. I owe a debt to Dominium Properties that they no longer manage. I would like to cure this matter.
