1 starI gave Ben H my deposit in January for a job he had bid. He told me they would be on the job in late March early April. His guy showed up in April and said he would probably be out the next week to start the job. Nobody showed up after that and in spite of calling Ben 4 times, I had no return calls. My yard was then marked for powerlines and such on May 22nd as requested by Hoyer construction. Those markings expired on June 5 and I called Hoyer and left my fifth message and still no response. I then drove to Hoyer construction on June 6th to see where we were at with the project. Ben gave me my deposit back and said his guy that stopped in early April had informed him that the job could not be done for the bid Ben himself had put in. Why would you have Not refunded me my money then instead of waiting? Why would you have my yard marked on May 22nd If you had no intention of doing the job? Why would you not call a paying customer and let them know all of this? My only conclusion is that they are very deceitful and untrustworthy.Review fromKara C.

Ben is not s great with communication. He was to do my stairs and never followed up. I needed s building permit and was unsure if he needed to file it or I needed to. I tried to file and needed information from him. I have left emails and phone messages asking to speak with him and come up with a plan. I have heard nothing. He has half of my money for the job. All he needed to do was call me to figure things out.

I returned your down payment in full. I emailed you back, you said you were out of time and would like a refund. Since that is what you requested that is how I proceeded. Please call the office if there is anything more we can do for you.
