      My Wife and I signed a contract last July 2021 to Renewal By Andersen for 2 new sliding patio doors cost $ just under $10K they planned installation for 3rd week of October this included installation of doors, 2 locks screens for both. So they finished installation of both doors but didn't have the 2 screens or locks and they also promised to come back with screens & locks and also replace mouldings inside both doors? We signed a contract including financing with 0 interest for 1 year. Well I kept calling over the next few months into January 2022 with no answers and no completion date in site? I must have called 30 times with no resolution? Mean while our 1 year 0 interest loan that we we're currently paying even while the project isn't completed? They finally called in March of 2022 stating they would come back out to finish? Well the service Tech. Showed up without the screens and locks again? Long story short they finally finished it the 2nd week of July 2022. So I called their office and spoke to **** the manager asking for some kind of reimbursement for the multiple times they came out without the proper materials to complete the project ( The reimbursement would be for my Wife having to take multiple days off to be present with service Tech. I also asked **** for an extension of the interest deadline because of horrible scheduling and planning by Renewal By Andersen! He told me they couldn't extend the deadline?? This is a horrible company because when you think of Andersen *************** you say oh boy we are getting a great product and service? Not the case! I hope you can get the interest deadline extended and some kind of reimbursement for lost work time somewhere around $ ****? Thank you sincerely ***************

      -On 11/18/21 Renewal by Andersen installed two doors in my home for $13,403 (order # ********). On our back porch door, the lock was very stiff but we were told it would loosen up over time.-2 months went by and the lock got harder to use. It was so stiff that turning the key to unlock it hurt your hand. My wife was unable to lock/unlock the door at all. Also, the door handle would fall off, which can prevent you from opening the door (fire hazard). Multiple times this year service needed to be called to remedy these issues so we could use the door. They did not appreciate the urgency required until my wife pleaded with them. -A service tech was able to make the lock somewhat easier to use but said a new locking mechanism was needed, which would take weeks to be delivered.-When the lock installation date arrived, the installer said that the door was warped, so a new door would need to be installed for it to work properly, something the prior service tech did not notice.-The lock was adjusted so that it could be used smoothly, but now the door was not flush with the frame, resulting in cold air leakage (this was about March 2022).-A new door was ordered: delivery in 4-6 weeks. When the install date came, no one showed up. I had to call to ask what happened and was told that the door could not be found in the warehouse. It somehow disappeared.-Another door was ordered in May 2022: again delivery in 4-6 weeks. I had to proactively follow up with our concierge to check on status. Often times my emails, calls, and her promises to call me back were ignored.-When our recent install date of 7/29/22 arrived, the installer called me in the morning to tell me that they could not find the door in the warehouse AGAIN.-I had previously confirmed with our concierge that someone had laid eyes on our door in the warehouse. Apparently a shipping admin was mistaken and had said our door had arrived when it wasnt even on the shipping list.
