    I ordered the Alaskan Crab - order no. SPO250202061709DROKH2 and *******+******** for 30 original pieces for $79.00. I would like to receive my order or my money back.

    Unfortunately, there are many scammers online who impersonate legitimate businesses, often advertising unrealistically low prices to lure in customers. If you see prices that seem too good to be true, we strongly advise exercising caution, as it is often a sign of a fraudulent site.
    Since this order was not placed with us, we recommend that you dispute the charge directly with your bank or credit card company, as they can investigate and assist you in recovering your funds.

    Bought $396.00 box of crabs from Alaskan King Crab Co on Dec 29th.
    They arrived on Jan 3rd and was not what was ordered. Instead of 3 lbs of crab legs they has placed 1 and a half crab leg in the order and 4 knuckles. They hide behind the word "may" ..by saying "knuckles may be" in the order, when their for.er employees working in processing said they pre cut the crab legs to include knuckles in each order. They knowingly place the knuckles inneach order. I reached out to them to tell them of the debacle and included a picture. They asked me to take more pictures as if I was going to do their investigation. Send a representative to my door and I will happily eacort them.to my deep freezer. The public is being defrauded out of millions of dollars each year because they include these hunks of precut peices but charge premium price for something the customer doesn't get. That's FRAUD!!!

    Good afternoon, So sorry for the disappointment here. 

    In this image, i see two whole legs, a partial leg and three knuckles. This is consistent with both our description advising that an order may contain knuckles and the weight of three pounds as ordered. The knuckle is the base of the leg and contains the same fantastic King crab meat as the legs. Knuckles are sold, from the boats, with the King Crab legs and claws and carry the same cost. 

    The claims of reading a chat with our former employees are unsubstantiated and don't match our processes or facility. We dont cut any King Crab in house, it's all done at the original processor, right off the boat. knuckles are not present in each order but most orders do require some smaller pieces to make weight as you can't always hit 3 pounds with just legs. 

    Given that these images show an order that fits our website description and matches the poundage both visually (3Lb label on bag) and in the UPS ship weight, we are unable to refund or reship this order.

    BBB NOTE: Complaint initially closed 'Answered' 1/14/24 when no reply from consumer within 10 days of initial business response.

    Consumer subsequently contacted BBB 1/25/24, saying had never received business response. BBB re-sent to consumer, who replied with the following:

    "I did not get this email or response. I whole heartedly this response and am continuing to deal through you whoni thought did a more intense investigation. But no worries.  I reject this response on the bases that the package was full of these knuckles and if you can't make the 3 lbs weight from crab legs then their job to find crab legs THAT DO FIT THE WEIGHT OR STOP ADVERTISING THAT THE CONSUMER WILL GET WHAT THEY THEY ACTUALLY DO NO RECEIVE!!! 

    Sounds like the boat needs inspection and Alaskan King Crab needs a labeling regulation lesson."

    I ordered for the first time and thought i would be a frequent customer. I ordered 3 pounds of crablegs. I received only 1 crab leg. Then not only that but my bag was sealed sideways. I sent them photos of the items. They stated it looked like some crablegs couldve been taken out even though the bag was completely sealed and had a 2 centimeter gap where it wasnt because of the way they sealed the **** bag. Now theres nothing they can do.THEY ARE SCAMMERS. I want my money back or at least the rest of my things i order

    i ordered 17lbs of king **** legs on 6th july. order number ****..i never received my order

    Based on the order number given, this is not one of our orders, i'm sorry to say. We have seen an increase in this type of scam lately. From our site, to *********** they're pretending to be popular companies and offering products at crazy prices.
    We only sell from www.alaskankingcrab.com
    Unfortunately, ********* where they generally originate, is not very helpful in protecting the real businesses from the fake ones and the pages tend to pop up as fast as we can get them shut down. The dead giveaway will be the price. it's just not possible to sell as low as they advertise at. In our experience they never send any product and it's up to you to call your bank and dispute it as fraud. The one thing they can't do is steal our *** which is www.alaskankingcrab.com when you look at the *** bar, you'll see something else. sometimes they are similar like ALKKINGCRAB.COM etc.
