Last year I started seeing a $30 monthly charge on my bank statements. Around the same time I bought my daughter a pre paid cel phone for a trip she was taking. I thought the $30 charge was for that cel phone. Well long story short, it doesn't have anything to do with that. In fact, I have no idea what the company is.Business Response

I noticed a charge for $29.99 on my credit card. I did not authorize this charge. I also noticed a charge for $.99. I also did not authorize that charge. I at no time signed up for this service. I had no idea who or what this company was until I saw the charge on my card and googled their name. I saw many complaints about them. I proceeded to email them requesting a refund. They told me all sales were final. I emailed back saying that that should not be the case considering I never signed up for any of their services. I never signed up for an account. I have contacted my bank and will have to go through them reporting this is fraud. Hi,
We don't see any email communication from this customer requesting a cancel or refund.
This customer (or someone with this customers name and credit card) created an account with us and purchased a report. Services have been rendered.
With that being said, we have canceled this customers service and processed their refund so they should see the refund on their statement within the next 10 days.

This person (or someone with this person's credit card) purchased a Single Report for $0.99 on our website. This Single Report also included a 7-day trial membership. Since the trial membership was not canceled it auto renewed into our monthly membership of $29.99/month per the terms and conditions.
We have refunded this customers two (2) orders of $29.99 and $0.99 ($30.98 total) so they should see the refunds on their statement within the next 10 days.

This company has incredibly misleading information on its website. They are well aware of the problem but continue this practice even after hundreds of complaints. A customer can purchase a one-time report for .99. Text says that for this price they include a 7-day free trial. Thats it. Customer selects the one-time report option and pays for the report. What they DO NOT say with thd selection to purchase the 1-time report with their forced free trial, is that you will be auto charged $29.99 per month unless you cancel before the end of this free trial. I did not sign up for a free trial. I PAID money for 1 report. I PAID. If they are forcing a free trial then I should have received my lookups for free for 7 days before being charged anything. This is so incredibly fraudulent. And they know it! They have been charging me monthly for 14 months without me placing any searches. I demand a refund. And I DO NOT want their canned service response they keep giving everyone. I will take them to small claims court if they dont provide some sort of restitution. Their language on the website says they are giving a free trial as part of my payment for 1 report. So you can be sure that small claims will find your company guilty of misleading language and force you to provide a refund as well as change either this practice of yours, or absolutely change the language so that ppl are aware of what youre doing before they make a one time purchase. I have recently noticed a recurring monthly debit from my bank account for $29.99 going all the way back to November 2022. As others have noted, I did not agree to this, although the business says we did at the time of the original purchase, yet I have no idea what the "original purchase" was and want specifics on such purchase. I am also *********** a copy of the actual text of this company's "agreement" and not just a vague mention of agreeing to something I am totally unaware of. I did not authorize this. And don't say I did because I was in the hospital in *******, ** for 17 days when the first charge was processed. I did not have any electronic devices with me. And on returning home I was too sick on IV antibiotics for 6 weeks after I returned home to do anything. I couldn't get out of bed by myself. I don't know how someone got my info, and my bank card.
