I had taken my 2017 Chev to the shop May 22, 2024 a code came on the dash board code 4 and then 52. I notice the air stop blowing cold air and notice a code 4on the dash after driving the vehicle for only 4 months. I think I have been overcharge for same problems twice. I feel a refund is in order. I have spend over $7761.61 in repairs. I feel I should get a refund of at $3500.00 for the double work done on this vehicle. I have the bills to show how much spend on this vehicle that I feel was double charge.

When the customer original diagnosis was to replace the *** solenoids on the vehicle, the customer was explained the repair process and that we highly recommended to do the *** actuators also which customer declined.  This is documented on the original RO dated 5/24/2024. The repairs done on 9/27/2024 was to replace the *** actuators which had failed. This was explained in detail to the customer.

I have reviewed the business' response and am rejecting it because: The business says that I rejected the recommendation to replace the *** ACTUATOR in May .. On the copy of *** ***** that I have for May .. Item 6 is REMOVE AND REPLACE VARIABLE VALVE TIMING (***) SOLENOIDS. I approved the repairs for item 6. There was no recommendation for replacing *** Actuator proposed to the best of my knowledge. I don't see that recommendation in May .. but I see it on the *** ***** in September.

    Sincerely,

We have left a message with Mr ******* to call us back which he did not. If you look in the technician comments section on the repair order that he attached. The recommendation is on line 1 of the comment section where it will say that we highly recommend replacing cam phaser at the same time. He can feel free to reach out to us as we have already tried doing that to him.

I have reviewed the business' response and am rejecting it because: I have not returned calls to the business because in the "do's and don'ts of the complaint process it states to avoid calling the business during the complaint process. As I view items 4 and 5 on the work order copy that is attached I see that those 2 items were checked off as approved. I don't see a dollar total until item 6 , which I also approved. I made it known that it was my intention to basically have all repairs done as needed and that I planned on "running the car until it fell apart." I do not see any repair cost assigned to items 4 or 5 .. as stated earlier .. the repair cost is shown in item 6.. which I approved.

    Sincerely,

They replaced my PCV hose and valve in June. They did not tell us there is no longer a part available. They rigged something up and now it is calling us problems. They deceived us by saying they fixed the problem when they put on a faulty part. The service engine light came on. I paid them $309.62.
