    We hired this contractor to perform work in our basement on 4/23/25. Per the contract signed, we put down half the deposit for the job to begin on 4/25/25. We have proof of our deposit paid and this contractor refuses to hold his end of the bargain and has not shown up to do the job. We are fighting for our money back, as we need the job done. Our basement is tore up and we have excessive damage. Upon further review, this contractor has many other reviews stating much to the same extent we have dealt with. We now are fighting for our hard earned money to be returned. We have to have this mess cleaned up in our basement and the job to be completed. This is completely unacceptable business practice, and he needs to be held accountable. You dont do this to people. Period. We will see him in court if he does not return our money. I will not stop until he is faced with his actions. You dont take my money and not complete the job. We have to have someone else complete this work. Pictures attached are of the still standing water as of today. Nothing has been done, except what my husband and I have done to try and dry up some of the water.

    We were in a vulnerable position needing a new water heater due to flooding. The company was willing to replace it but ended up charging more than initially quoted which is fine but this was deceptive. He stopped responding soon after installation even though there were issues with the install. One such issue was incorrect installation of a mandatory safety piece to the item for when pressures were too high. We needed him to provide a receipt/invoice since he asked we pay via *****. He has not initiated the process of inspection which he is the one who must do this. He has intermittently responded promising to complete the services we paid for but generally is non responsive to phone and text. It would almost be slightly better if he didnt respond at all saying he would complete the work. It has been about two months. He was also chronically late every appointment anywhere between half an hour to two hours. This has been a very negative experience.

    *** set a date and time to bid my job to move a laundry room. On the original date, he cancelled and moved it to the following day. The next day he was supposed to be there at 10:00 am. After no show, and no contact, I called him at 10:45 am and it sounded like I woke him up. He bid the job and I agreed to give him a $600 deposit to start the job for materials. He came out a few days later and tore out an entire wall of drywall, and left. I never heard from him after that. I called 5 or 6 days later and he had excuse after excuse. We agreed to split ways and he would refund my $600. I asked if he needed my info and he claimed that he had it all.. I have checked in with him periodically over the past month and he would typically respond within a few days with an excuse, and act like he was going to refund me. He has now stopped responding to my messages and I have received no refunds

    On Nov. 17, 2023, *** agreed to put in a new water heater and remove the old one. That was on a Friday. He did not have his truck with him and I told him he could keep the old water heater on my porch until Monday. He had a flat tire on his truck and would return on Monday. While he was here he replaced the shower hose and when he tested it, the water pressure wasn&#**;t as good as it used to be. He implied this part would be free for me. He never came back to install it. He told me he had to get a part, order a part and would come back and install it at the same time when he picked up the old water heater. He never picked up the old water heater. At the beginning of January, he kept texting me he was going to come and some excuse and he never came back to finish the job. I would like for him to come pick up the old water heater, to get normal water pressure and finish the job.

    The credit card company agreed with me and said all work was performed and completed satisfactorily.  I tried to resolve this with her and she stopped returning my phone calls.  I have all the paperwork.

    ****** of DNS Plumbing did work for us two years ago. He often didn't show up on many of the expected days and did not call us, but he eventually finished the job satisfactorily, though it was frustrating how long it took. On 08/30/23, ****** came to our home to evaluate a basement sewer backup. He indicated the trap at the bottom of the pipe was cast iron and had disintegrated, would need to be replaced, and could involve $3,000 to $17,000 depending on how far it might be necessary to break up the concrete floor to find "good" pipe onto which a new connection could be achieved. We are retired, and said we'd have to think about what to do. We were able to call *** back mid-November 2023, and made an oral contract with him to begin the work Monday 11/20/23. Friday, 11/17/23, *** called to say he'd need $1,000 up front to begin the work. The money was sent to him through VENMO that day, and is recorded on the website. The oral agreement included that *** would show up to begin the work on Monday, 11/20/23. *** did not show up, and never called as to why, but we were not surprised as that was his pattern the last time he worked for us. When we called him he said he had a number of emergency calls from the weekend, and would start the next day Tuesday 11/21/23. By noon Tuesday, he had again not yet arrived, nor called, so we called him to say we intended to find someone else to do the work, because Christmas was coming and we didn't want the project to extend into the new year, as we had already experienced last time that he was often not showing up to do the work on the days to which he'd committed, so couldn't trust this time would not be the same. In that conversation on Tuesday, 11/21/23, we asked him to return the $1,000, and he agreed. We left two separate VENMO messages to him over the next several weeks requesting he return our money as soon as possible, but they've gone unanswered, and *** still has not refunded our $1,000 nor contacted us.

    The issue has been resolved. I received my money yesterday and I'm very happy the outcome.
