need less stars,the *********** AL store on hwy 431/************************************ is the biggest joke,they have no clue what's going on and cx service has no idea what's going on and pork chop just sits over there not knowing what to ***** took 3 days to get a upgrade phone then 2 hrs for them to try to activate it and then the phone had issues and they have no idea what to do.we finally just called a real ******* CX support and within 15 mins all issues ********** sure you ask if there a real ******* store when dealing with ********they use 3rd party stores and there a joke.Russell Cellular Inc.

Russell Cellular (*********, **) is by far the worst experience I have ever had. They have lied to me and charged my credit card for a phone I never got. On April 8th, I went into the store to get a replacement for a phone I lost. I was charged $235 despite 4 years of insurance payments. The phone never came. The insurance company said that they were never paid. But my card was charged. I disputed it. They took the charge off. But Russell Cellular (*********, **) went back and charged me again. And now I am on the phone with the ************************* Next stop is the police station.Russell Cellular Inc.

I went to this Russell Cellular office to get my free upgrade on my iPhone. It has been a terrible experience. First of all the people working there have no experience and dont know what they are doing. They tried to change my iPhone 13 over to a new iPhone 16. The person doing it tried 6 times to transfer it not realizing that my phone had 256 storage. The one she tried to transfer to had 128. I finally pointed that out. So then they ordered the right phone. That cost me an extra hundred dollars. Then the phone I traded in didnt get credited for. Still getting charged because the phone didnt show up. Do not do any business with this store! Go to a ******* store. We are now getting charges every month thanks to their incompetence. I spent over 8 hours in this place just trying to get my upgrade.Russell Cellular Inc.

The experience you described does not reflect the level of service we aim to provide, and we understand how frustrating and time-consuming this must have been.Regarding the device storage issue, you're absolutely correct, devices with higher storage capacities, such as 256GB compared to 128GB, do come at a higher cost. We sincerely apologize that this was not clearly communicated at the time of your upgrade. We recognize that this lack of clarity added unnecessary confusion, and we are addressing it internally to ensure better communication going forward.We also apologize for the issues related to your trade-in credit and the additional charges. While mistakes can happen, the situation should have been managed with more care and professionalism.Additionally, wed like to clarify that some promotional credits may take 13 billing cycles to appear on your account. My son went to the store for a case and screen protector for his new iphone. They put a $60 screen protector on it and only then did they ring him up and tell him the price. They then pointed to a no return policy for opened items. They took advantage of an 18 year old college kid and refused to honor my complaint. The store manager said that the sales *** should have rung him up before installing it. Russell Cellular said that the sales *** was required to put it on before ringing him up. He had no idea what the price was before they opened the box and installed it. He then thought he had no choice but to pay for it since it was already on the phone. Russell Cellular admits no fault and claims the non-audio camera footage showing him looking at items somehow negates their awful manipulative business practices.Russell Cellular Inc.

Thank you for sharing your concerns with us. We understand how frustrating this situation is. Camera footage was reviewed, and the customer was shown multiple products, and a conversation did take place during this interaction. The customer declined an item and chose 2 items which he paid for after they were applied to the device, and his consent was given per the camera footage. At no point does the customer appear to be unhappy or uncomfortable with the interaction, and he appears to converse for the whole 30 minutes he is in the store, including the time the screen protector is applied. As the customer was a legal adult who paid with his own debit/credit card, signed for the purchase, and per camera footage, consented to the exchange, the charges are valid. I bought a home that has no hard wired internet so ***** recomended a My Fi type of unit so I bought it,turns out i could literally put my phone right on it and still Zero reception.I went back THEN he tells me of a better unit,why didn't he show me this in the first place?! So I couldnt return the original one,got stuck with it and I bought the bigger unit not sure what its ********* then I was told it is UNLIMITED.Well a few weeks passes,I got my first bill and was $109 monthly charge then a $440 **** charge too boot!!!! I couldn't get to the store fast enough I was in shock.***** looked at the bill.TOTALLY acknowledged that he told me it was unlimited and would see what he could do to remove the **** charge,its now 2 days later,I was promised a call back,still nothing just stuck with a big bill.He says they were trained that this was unlimited,then did more research and saw there was another plan for $10 more that is truely unlimited,I was told right off by ***** that what I bought was unlimited.I am only there on weekends,have NO computor at the home and only used this for the TV and radio and better cell reception.This is aweful ***** told me over and over that I had unlimited,so far no compensation for the $440 data charge and he corrected his mistake of plans so I now supposedly have unlimited.I spent hours there about this I just keep getting blown off that have to speack to this person and that person and have gotten no where with thisRussell Cellular Inc.

On 12/30/24, after being a ******* customer for 2 years. I was told my method of payment was no longer acceptable from ****** *. The new store manager. Approx. one month later I found out this was a false action on her part and that she was setting her own policy and not that of *******. I have reached out to ************* numerous times to discuss this issue and they refuse too and only want to stay hidden. I've asked to speak to the district manager and he refuses as well. I was instructed to leave a review at their store location and it goes unanswered by "Owner" as well. I would avoid Russell-Cellular in ***********, **. *********** Management sees the need to get involved. ***************** Tech. support *******- resolution team (over seas) are confused to their actions as well.Russell Cellular Inc.

1 starI gifted a ****** ** from out of NY state to my son for Christmas. Upon his return he went to this Russell Cellular Location in Leroy, NY to trade in his old phone . I was to receive $1000 promotion at that time and not be billed for the new phone. Well….they billed my son for the phone that was to be a gift. Store changed my original contract and ** now states they cannot reverse the charge nor can issue the $1000 promotion. I’ve been on the phone with ** customer service after calling this store. Nothing but lies lies lies. Disconnected, non English speaking representatives, long hold times 39 minutes . A total mess and joke. Disappointed in Russell Cellular for altering my contract and ** for all the untruths. Nobody wants to truly do their job honestly anymore. I ended up paying full price $968.00 for that phone just to end the frustration. ******* *., lied to me from the moment I walked in the Russell Cellular store. Misleading in how much a new iPhone would cost me. I agreed to try the watch that was a promotional deal at the time. ******* added a cellular line without my PERMISSION. I returned the watch within 24 hours and I was BILLED $6. FOR THE TIME I HAD THE WATCH. On the following months' bill I had a charge of $10 for the additional cellular line that ******* FAILED TO REMOVE. When I questioned her she told me SHE THOUGHT I WANTED IT. My phone **** says I have an iPhone 16 Pro but my iPhone says it's an iPhone 16. Was I paying more than I should have been? I'll never know! Also, I was FORCED TO PAY for my deceased mother's iPhone/number for close to a year because I was told I would lose my promotions and my bill with one line would only be a $5. difference. After, I upgraded to a new iPhone well all I needed was to show a death certificate. I took the ** up to the ******* store in ************ Ill. they told me all I had to do was call to have it removed. After returning to Russell store for the third time still trying to reduce my monthly bill. ******* proceeds to tell me she can get my bill down to $50, that's what she pays, so she said. On my next bill it was $80 for the phone NOT $50. Lies! Russell Cellular is a third party ******* seller and corporate ******* takes no responsibility for R.C. selling ethics nor their own salespeople's selling ethics for that matter. *******, demands high quotas and their team members do whatever is needed to meet those standards. Who's monitoring these companies? I couldn't submit review without selecting a star review. ******* doesn't deserve even 1 star!Russell Cellular Inc.

All devices sold within a ********************** store will be connected to a line of service as all devices within a ********************** store are cellular capable. We apologize if there was a misunderstanding on this point. Any disputes in regards to the bill or services on the bill will need to be brought to ******* directly. Per the store receipt, phone bills and device payment agreement you purchase a Pink iPhone 16. iPhone pro and pro max devices are an excess of $1000 and only come in Desert Titanium, Natural Titanium, White Titanium and Black Titanium. We apologize if the way your device is labeled on your billing is confusing. You will need you speak with ******* in regards to the wording on the billing. ******* can also provide you with a copy of your device payment agreement upon request for you to review what was financed and what you were paying for on your monthly bill. In regards to what is being billed on your bill such as your deceased mothers device and line of service only ******* can remove that or can cancel any loans attached to the device due to the owner being deceased as they document that on the loan for a write off. We apologize for any miscommunication regarding price plans. ******* offers discounts for things like military, teachers, first responders and many other discounts that may get you down to that price that you are looking to be at. We would like to pass along our sincere condolences for the loss of your mother and hope that this has cleared up some questions and concerns you may have regarding the billing.
