    Account Resolution Corporation (ARC) received this complaint ******** on 11/6/23. The consumer indicates that the consumer is not liable for a debt with certain creditors.The consumer indicates there is no contract between the consumer and ARC. The consumer indicates ARC did not provide a copy of the contract ARC has with the consumer as requested. The consumers desired resolution is for the account to be removed from the consumers credit report.
    Upon receipt of the complaint, ARC reviewed the accounts in question. The consumer called ARC on 11/6/23.  ARC explained the debts to the consumer.  The consumer indicated the consumer would call back when a spouse indicates what accounts can be paid. ARC has agreements with creditors to forward accounts for collection. An agreement is not required between the consumer and ARC. 
    **************************, President of ARC attempted to reach the consumer by phone on 11/16/23,however ************ was not able to reach the consumer. ARC would like the consumer to know that their office is available to discuss the accounts/complaint at any time. Since ARC communicated with the consumer on 11/6/23 what the debts were about, the consumer indicated they would call back when they were going to make a payment, and ARC attempted to reach the consumer by phone again on 11/16/23,there was nothing further for ARC to do at this time as it relates to the complaint. However, ARC remains available to discuss the complaint with the consumer at any time.

    Account resolution corporation debited my account after being paid in full. They said because I had automatic payments set up they were unable to stop them and were without access even after I had paid in full. This is criminal to keep debiting accounts. If I had not caught this ON MY OWN I would have been charged again! This company should be shut down for negligence. What a poorly ran company.

    Account Resolution Corporation (ARC) received this complaint ******** on 10/24/23. The consumer indicates that ARC debited his account after the account was paid in full. The consumers desired resolution is for an explanation of charges.
    The consumer set up recurring payments on the ARC website. In the interim, the consumer called ARC and paid off the balance in full.   One additional payment ran on 10/24/23 and it was immediately refunded on 10/25/23 to the consumer.  All future website payments have been deleted.
    ARC would like the consumer to know that their office is available to discuss the account/complaint at any time. Since ARC refunded the overpayment to the consumer and all future payments are canceled, there was nothing further for ARC to do at this time as it relates to the complaint. However, ARC remains available to discuss the complaint with the consumer at any time.
    Our office is in receipt of complaint ******** on 10/2/23. For all the reasons identified above, our office is closing the complaint with an explanation.

    I am rejecting this response because:

    Poor business practice to keep auto withdraw of funds for a customer after being paid in full. It is not the customers responsibility to turn off auto pay once paid in full. Representative told me there was nothing needed done on my part once it was paid in full. If I had not noticed the payment being drawn they would have continued to withdraw funds. Irresponsible and sloppy.

    and indicated he would take care of.  He didn’t
    recall the second account and said he would call after reviewing the debt
    validation.

    at any time. Since ARC mailed debt validation and reached the consumer by phone,
    there was nothing further for ARC to do at this time as it relates to the

    that meet the requirements for debt validation on 6/15/23. ARC has agreements
    with creditors to forward accounts for collection. An agreement is not required
    between the consumer and ARC.
    ***** ** ***** **** President of ARC spoke to the consumer on 7/24/23. The consumer did not
    recall receiving the services. The consumer did ask about a settlement. ARC
    informed the consumer that if this were identity theft, ARC would mail the
    consumer an FTC Identity Theft Victim’s Complaint and Affidavit and if the
    consumer completes the Complaint and Affidavit form and returns it notarized
    with a police report to ARC, ARC will continue the investigation and review of
    the account.
    ARC would like
    the consumer to know that their office is available to discuss the accounts/complaint
    at any time. Since ARC mailed debt validation and an FTC Identity Theft
    Victim’s Complaint and Affidavit to the consumer, and ARC has spoken to the
    consumer, there was nothing further for ARC to do at this time as it relates to
    the complaint. However, ARC remains available to discuss the complaint with the
    consumer at any time.
