    This company is unscrupulous and predatory. They take advantage of people and their business practices are absolutely unconscionable. They buy old debt add absolutely ridiculous interest and fees and the proceed to garnish wages leaving people unable to pay even cost of living expenses. My original debt was approximately $1100 but Barton Law has inflated that to over $10,000. The endless poor reviews and their immoral business practices make me wonder how theyre still open for business. Someone needs to look into their business practices as there are multiple complaints from people stating Barton is claiming to never receive payments, collecting garnishments after a debt is paid, deducting more than allowed from paychecks, etc. Pages of horrible reviews and yet theyre still in business. I will be consulting an attorney regarding my own case but not everyone has those resources. This company needs to be held accountable for their actions.

    I have reviewed the business' response and am rejecting it because:  I have filed numerous complaints against this business because the results of my research show that numerous individuals have experienced what I am now dealing with.  Original debt is completely over inflated, collection tactics are barely inside the bounds of the law, and this "law firm" has been sued on more than one occasion for the reasons I've mentioned. Since I can't find an organization that will assist me I will be pursuing other, legal action against Barton Law.
