On 2/26/2025, I went for a car wash. A person came up to me and said they were offering one month unlimited car washes for $10+tax. I took it, although I did not intend to get another car wash in the same month. But just in case. I have never gone back there.I did not realize until today that they had signed me up for a car wash membership. Today, on checking credit card transactions, I see that they charged me $10.60 each on 3/36/2025 and 4/26/2025. In addition, they charged me $37.10 each on 5/26/2025 and 6/26/2025. THERE WAS NO MENTION OF SUCH CONTINUING MEMBERSHIP ON 2/26/2025 WHEN I BOUGHT MEMBERSHIP FOR ONE MONTH ONLY. At a minimum, this was misrepresentation or misleading sale with key details omitted. It could also be called a fraud because continuing membership was not ***************, 7/1/2025, I called their number immediately after detecting the unjustified charges. They refused to refund, although they cancelled my membership from today onward. I feel like I have been cheated by $95.40. I have never visited the car wash since 2/26/2025.This matter is of serious concern because they may be doing this misrepresentation or misleading to many people. It is a trap. The business needs to be reprimanded and ordered to stop this practice.Business Response

Sold my Truck in May, emailed Club Car Wash to cancel my membership. Got a confirmation email saying it was canceled. Come June I got charged again. I emailed customer service and was told that it wasn't canceled but now it is and I would not get refunded for Junes payment and I could continue to use the car wash until July (for a truck I got rid of in May). I only have 2 accounts with club car wash, don't know whose account they canceled but the payment for both accounts came out.Customer Answer

Club Car Wash automatically renewed my membership on 5/20/2025.I tried multiple times to cancel my membership within the cancellation window.I tried via multiple means, QR code on phone, on computer, even in person. I was successful on May 20, 2025 but that was my final attempt.I provided my browsing history that showed that I had attempted on May 15, 2025 but the online cancellation would not ********* Car Wash refuses to refund the amount, claiming that they cannot because they have no proof of my attempts. Their online system was not working and did not register my attempts. They claim that I should have made a phone call. I tried every online method, and tried going in person before I finally tried a phone call (it is, after all, 2025 - who thinks they will reach anyone by phone?). They refuse to look at the evidence I have provided.I am not looking for any legal remedy. I would just like to report their practices as unethical and provide a "buyer beware" to others.Business Response

We sincerely apologize for the difficulties you encountered while trying to cancel your membership.

On June 1st I went through a carwash that I pay for a membership at. I do not typically go to this particular location as it's not near me. After getting home and existing the vehicle I noticed scratches consistent with debris in the brushes. This was also confirmed with a manager at one of the locations. He also explained to me that this particular location is the most popular location in *******. An astronomical amount of vehicles go through that carwash. The company is denying my claim. Although the damage absolutely happen there and they're providing very poor customer service.Business Response

Thank you for reaching out. I apologize you are less than satisfied with the determination of your claim. The markings being claimed are inconsistent with the wash and equipment and are also sporadic. Our equipment is made of foam material and micro-fiber cloth, and operates at a high speed in a uniform, horizontal motion. If the damage had been caused by our wash, it would appear in a consistent pattern from the front to the back of the vehicle. However, the damage reported is sporadic, lacks uniform pattern, and does not align with the way our equipment functions. We understand this may not be the outcome you were hoping for, and we appreciate your understanding. Thanks, Club Car Wash.Initial Complaint

I have a MVP membership at club carwash and sometime in May of 2025 brought my car in to wash and I received damage to my rear wiper on my 2022 ****** RAV4 XLE. I promptly told the attendant and eventually received contact from a claim specialist (*******) with the company. ******* told me my options of getting the damage fixed and it was either they would pay a body shop directly or reimburse me for the parts but not my labor. I choose to repair it myself as taking it to the body shop would cost me more money in having to provide myself with a transportation alternative during the repair and I wouldn't be reimbursed for that either. I believe I should be paid for the labor I did in fixing the issue caused by this company and reimbursed for the parts I had to buy at a combined cost of $400. I would accept a store credit for my labor cost but would like a check for the cost of the parts I had to buy. I don't believe what I'm requesting is unreasonable as it would've cost around 400 for any body shop to have made the repairs. I've tried to negotiate with the company and I'm only met with resistance and now it's to the point I don't seem to be getting my reimbursement for the parts. ******* told me ***** from the claim support team would be reaching out to me but I have not heard from her nor did ******* provide me with her contact information. Taking my car to a body shop was not an option not only to the extra money that it would cost but my schedule doesn't allow me much time to visit a body shop during their business hours. The number I provided below was in the subject line of the emails I received from Crystal I imagine it's some sort of reference number for my claim.Business Response

Thank you for reaching out. We sincerely regret that you are not fully satisfied with our processes we have in place within our department. As discussed with the claims agent, we have policies that we must follow when it comes to reimbursements. The claims agent gave you options when it came to the repair of your vehicle and you willingly chose to purchase the parts yourself and provided a paid receipt, to which we agreed to reimburse you the full amount of $187. We cannot reimburse you for the labor you personally did on your own time, as that is not part of our protocol.
We understand this may not be the outcome you were hoping for, and we appreciate your understanding. Thanks, Club Car Wash.Customer Answer

I have reviewed the business' response and am rejecting it because:It would've caused more finical burden on myself had I taken it to a body shop as I use the vehicle that was damaged to make a living. I don't find me asking for a reimbursement for my time and labor to be unreasonable, maybe you should rewrite your policies so this doesn't happen in the future. I would be satisfied with $80 or 3 months of MVP membership credited to my account to resolve this matter. I understand this isn't the response you may have hoped for. Have a good day.
Sincerely,
***** *******Initial Complaint

I accepted Club Car Wash's discounted offer. When I tried to cancel before the first month of full-price billing, I found it very difficult to cancel. Eventually I sent an email to their customer service asking them to cancel my subscription. They billed me anyway. After I received that bill, I dug into their website and found their facility for cancellation. Immmediately, I completed that request. The following month, they billed my credit card again anyway. I call customer service. During that conversation, their agent informed me that she had found my request to cancel and promised to refund the last unauthorized charge to my credit card. I expect that to happen. But, without a doubt, they had received and recorded at least one cancellation request and billed anyway. To me, it appears that intentional overbilling is a profit-enhancing Club Car policy. Beware!Business Response

Hello,
We hope this message finds you well. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience you may have encountered regarding your account.
Upon reviewing your account, we can confirm that it has been fully canceled. We acknowledge that there was an error in our system that resulted in a charge to your account in June, and we have processed a refund for that amount back to the card on file.
However, please note that your account was canceled in May on the same day as your recharge date, which means you are not eligible for a refund for the May charge.
If you have any questions or need further clarification regarding this information, please feel free to reach out to our **************** team at ************. A representative will be more than happy to assist you.

Hello I am filing a complaint about Club Car Wash located in ***** OK at **************************************. They have done damage to my car and refusing to repair it. I just bought this car 03/08/25. Almost 3 months ago. I had no rock chips or paint chips when I started coming to this car wash. I have only been through maybe 10 times total if that? I filed a claim over the damage they have caused and they're telling me I'm at fault for it. That when I entered the wash on 5/30 there was already paint chip and that's the risk I took when entering a car wash with pre-existing damage. That pre-existing damage their speaking of is what they did. I have pictures to show my car had no paint chips when purchased the car, since going there now this has happened. I have went back and forth with Chole in the claims department and their refusing any kind of assistance regarding the damage on my car! This is so wrong!! Since this has happened I have read many many complaints against this car wash for this exact thing happening to others cars! Wish I would've done my re-search first and maybe I wouldn't be in this boat. Had no idea there are so many complaints out there against them until now. I just want what's right to be done. I'm not asking for more. Just for the 3 spots to be fixed. Refund my money for the 3 months of membership I've paid for also since I've paid them at this point to damage my car.the 5 pics labeled IMG are pictures of the car when purchased. No paint chips or rock chips anywhere. The first damage picture is what I noticed on 05/17/25. one very small little spot. I go back on 05/30/25 and its done it in 2 other spots!! So its clearly the car wash is damaging my car. Something has to be done about this business doing so many this way!!! Please help BBB. Thanks so much ******** *******Business Response

Thank you for reaching out. I apologize you are less than satisfied with the determination of your claim. Please know we take all concerns very seriously, thoroughly investigating each concern. As discussed by ***** and ******, our footage showed damage prior to entering the wash. Coming through the car wash with pre-existing damage, makes it susceptible to further damage from the pressures within the wash. I have attached the picture you provided from the day you purchased the vehicle and circled the damage on the roof, just above the windshield. In regard to the other damage on the hood of the vehicle, without a pre-existing paint chip or imperfection, our wash is not capable of removing paint from any part of the vehicle. We understand this may not be the outcome you were hoping for, and we appreciate your understanding. Thanks, Club Car Wash.Initial Complaint

I had my car washed at *******************************************************************************************************************, between 5pm and 5:30pm. After pulling through the gate I young man started to spray my truck down (this was between the entrance gate and the car washed building) and the proceeded down the driver side of the vehicle (left side). When he went to wave the next vehicle in I saw and heard his wand in his left hand hit the truck on the driver side rear of the truck and I even seen him look back after doing so. I am just asking that the truck be in the same condition that I started.Business Response

Thank you for reaching out. We sincerely regret that you are not fully satisfied with the outcome of your claim. Please know that we take all concerns seriously and carefully review each case to ensure a fair determination. As the claims agent discussed with you over the phone, our footage does not show any contact being made with the power-washing gun and your vehicle. Furthermore, our prep guns have a rubber tip on the end of the sprayer to prevent damage from occurring. We understand this may not be the outcome you were hoping for, and we appreciate your understanding. Thanks, Club Car Wash.Initial Complaint

On Friday, May 16, 2025 between 11:30am or 12:15pm I went through the car wash located at ******************************************, my vehicle is brand new, afterwards notice a bunch of scratched on the hood of my car, when I spoke with the manager on the premises, were pictures were taken at that time and she filed the claim only to later be told that they were not at fault, which I disagree, due to my never had these scratches on it until after I had gone through their car wash. They have refused to thorough look into this, or take accountability.Business Response
