      I called the phone number provided in the notice I received so I could speak to someone to verify the debt they say I owe but when they answered phone they would not identify the company that I called and insisted that I provide them with personal info before they could tell me who they were. I told her that I found the phone number in their address and asked that she verify the company so that I knew whether I was speaking to the correct company or not so instead of her telling me the company name she asked me who I called. Do they train these people in how to be rude and deceitful? I told her that she needed to verify her company so that I could make sure that I wasn't being scammed and her reply was I guess we are done with this conversation and hung up.Whatever companies that are using this collector might want to rethink that decision because it will look bad on them. Although I don't think I have any pass due bills I will be checking with the company that AMS says that I have a passed due bill with tomorrow and let them know how AMS is representing them.
