I cancelled my extended warranty on my vehicle over a year ago and have not been refunded. Every time I call I get a different response. The first few calls I was told my information was not yet in the system, and ever since then Ive been told my refund is processing. It has been over a year. This is completely unacceptable. I was recently given the name ***. I was told he is the only one that can resolve something with accounting. Ive tried to get in touch with *** for the last 6 months to no resolution. Ive left numerous messages for this person, Ive even emailed him to the email I was given, ******************* As a matter of fact, I called today and was given the same response. I was told an email would be sent to *** to add it to the list for Accounting to resolve. The person I spoke to went as far as saying, accounting is not responding. I dont know how this company is allowed to do business in this way. No one has been able to even tell me the amount of my refund, let alone give me an expected date of when my refund will be processed. I have gone out of my way to make numerous amount of attempts to resolve this, to no avail. Its been over a year now, this us ridiculous. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.Initial Complaint

I received the intial flyer in the mail on May ******. I called since the flyer said I don't have vehicle protection, I called to confirm I don't, I was told I don't so I purchased. I found out I was lied to and now have been unable to cancel services within a reasonable window and have been told different things about cancelling and about when my cancellation window was. I only found out I had the ability to cancel because I called MEPCO. I have not received any contracts or the booklet for the vehicle protection at all. I want my services cancelled immediately and no billing considering I never wanted the services in the first place. I'd like to never be contacted by them once this is settled as well.Business Response

We spoke with this customer on 5/22/25 when she activated her coverage. We then received a call from her on 6/11/25 in which she told us she has not received her policy. **** tracking has the expected delivery date of 5/31/25. We then requested an email policy which was sent on 6/12/25. This customer had some concerns and we went over the coverage and all of her options, including the standard cancellation procedures. We will reach out to this customer to address any new concerns that she may have and to verify she has all the information she needs to move forward.Initial Complaint

I have never had so much trouble with a company and their policies. I was lied to multiple times over the phone about company procedures. Additionally, they have been the least helpful customer service department I have ever worked with.Business Response

Shortly after purchasing a ****** Outback I recieved a postcard in the mail stating that my warranty for my car needed to be activated or I would be liable for all damages to the vehicle. It also insinuated a great sence of urgency. I also found the layout of the postcard and formatting of the text very misleading. It gave off the feeling that it was from the dealership. So i called and activated the warranty. A few weeks later I recieved a warranty booklet from Secur Vehicle Solutions and from the dealership. After contacting the dealership and them informing me that they had no knowledge of how or why I was sent this paperwork. They also said that it was very likely they I had been scammed. I then check the address on the booklet I was given from Secur Vehicle Solutions and it was to a **** not the actual business. ****** searching Secur Vehicle Solutions gives no results. Upon calling the number that was given the person answered the phone "Vehicle Protection Center". Thinking I had the wrong number I hung up. I ****** searched Vehicle Protection Center where I then located the BBB link. After digging further I came to the realization that this company is a scam and that I need to cancel whatever services I was essentially mislead into purchasing. After calling back and attempting to cancel, I was informed that I have to mail in a notarized copy of the vehicles millage along with paperwork that they never informed me where I could find. They also informed me that they would not stop taking payment from me till the paperwork is filed with them. I find it ridiculous that i cannot use email or some other faster form of data transfer, but then again this is clearly a scam ment to trick people into purchasing something that they dont need. I will comply with the ridiculous terms of their cancelation and since it is within the first 30 days I will be entitled to a full refund of the $695.00 i have spent thus far. I have called them and told them to remove my credit card info. They did not do it, continued to attempt to charge my card. I had to cancel my card. I assume they are mostly call center agents with no ability to actually help you when you call.Business Response

This particular company is calling me approximately 5 times a day everyday to sell their product. I have asked to be removed from their list but they just call from a different number. I am sick and tired of their calls and it needs to stop.Business Response

I purchase this warranty protection for my vehicle 2018 ********** on 08/29/22, I trade that vehicle in 09/23/2023 and canceled the policy 09/27/2023 .I was advice to submitted a letter in write of cancellation and the purchase of the new vehicle I did what they asked and was advice by **** it would be 120days to process the refund due, per the cancellation Agreement which states WE will refund the unearned agreement purchase price to you calculated on a pro rata basis. less any claims paid. I paid a total of ******* in 12 months period. I have called and spoke with ******* , **** the ****** *** every week for the past 12 months and have not resolved anything , all they tell that its still in process.
