      The technician cleaning my chimney was nice. He had a very hard time getting off the chimney cover/top and eventually had to clean the flue from the bottom only. In the process of banging down hard in frustration he damaged the cover and caused the inside flue to bend out of shape. He did not have the proper safety equipment to get on my iced up roof. I offered him some shoes made for walking roofs (Cougar Paws) I had when I worked on roofs, made for safety, and used by insurance appraisers. Unfortunately, they did not fit and he had to use a couch cushion and carefully crawl onto the roof at the peak (not a safe place to get on a roof) without slipping on ice while I held his ladder. A few days after the tech had finished and straightened up as much as he could that he had bent...I notice what appeared to be a water stain on my inside flue. I spoke with the office manager who was curt, rude, and would not give her name without asking twice. I then spoke to the manager who I had to ask who he was. As I was telling him the information above the manager interrupted me and told me to get to the point. This did not sit with me well because to me the facts were important. I told him so, but he kept interrupting, yelling at me, threatening to hang up, and not service my issue. He told me I was wrong that their employee was not without proper safety equipment and my opinion was not important. At this point they are suppose to come out and address the problem...not holding my breath. Either way I would not use this company...and I agree with ***** * in the other review...a rating of one is not low enough.
