    In April of 2025 I was agreed to pay $525 for some fence repair and gate installation. It states Labor and material cost to install a vinyl privacy gate which can be seen in the image provided in supporting documents. On May 12th, they cut through my fence and installed a hook and hinges. This was not what we agreed to. I called the owner, ******, and he explained that it would have taken longer to order the gate and would cost more. I said, thats fine if it takes longer but we agreed to an actual gate. He agreed to order a gate. June 4th they installed a new gate. They then tried to bill me for the entire job, but I had already paid 50% by check. I provided them proof of payment. They then told me about an invoice they sent on 6/12/25, but I never received. Please note that I have told ***** since the beginning that I was not getting emails from him, so he had been sending me screen shots in texts. They corrected the email address and sent the invoice out the same day. Today, one day later (6/13/25), I got an email stating they would be putting a lien on me due to late payment. I paid the charge because I do not want a lien. I was disputing the final invoice as it is over $200 more than the original. Below is supporting documents.

    Thank you for the opportunity to address this complaint regarding the fence repair and gate installation completed by Ds Home Solutions LLC.


    First, I want to clarify that the discussions and agreements referenced in the complaint are not accurately portrayed. The initial quote provided and agreed upon was specifically for installing new gate hardware and a new post, which is not visible in the images submitted after the installation. This was clearly outlined in the original proposal and scope of work.

    After the initial installation, the customer decided she wanted a full prefab vinyl gate rather than just new hardware and a post. I informed her that this would require an additional charge, as the prefab gate she selected cost $327.48, with an upgraded latch for $45. The customer agreed to these additional costs before we proceeded. The final invoice reflects only the actual cost of the materials and labor required for the upgraded work. There were no hidden fees or unexpected chargeseverything was discussed and approved in advance.

    Regarding the mention of a person named "******" or ******** there is no one by that name associated with Ds Home Solutions LLC. All communications regarding this project were handled directly by myself or my verified team members.

    As for the invoicing and payment process, the customer did pay a 50% deposit as standard practice. The remaining balance was invoiced upon completion of the work. Any delays in receiving the invoice were addressed immediately once brought to our attention, and we ensured the correct contact information was used going forward. The notice regarding a potential lien was only sent after the payment was past due and all reasonable attempts to resolve the matter had been exhausted.

    To summarize:
    - The work performed was as discussed and agreed upon at each stage.
    - The customer requested and approved an upgrade, which increased the cost accordingly.
    - No additional discounts were offered, as the customer was already receiving a fair and competitive rate.
    - There is no basis for a refund, as the work was completed per the revised agreement and all charges were transparent.
    - There is no ****** or ***** at my company.
