      Terrible company. They constantly miss my pickups and say the driver didn't see my cans. It is so bad I have to take pictures now documenting the cans being out so they will come back out. *******************..

      Every other week we have trouble getting trash picked up in Woodcrest Villas in ****, Missouri they dont seem to care and say that they didnt know it is like a subdivision. Meridian Waste needs to do a better job.

      I recommend people to completely stay away from this company! About a year ago we agreed to their service and paid the delivery fee, after back and forth for 2 months of them "forgetting" to bring the dumpster to our business. We dropped it and just left it alone. About a year later the same sales *** came back to us claiming it's a new company that owns it and they do what they say and are worth giving them another chance. Being skeptical about it, she went over everything with us claiming she will use the ***** they still had from before to bring the dumpster out and it would only be $98.00 a month, with no extra charges. It would be dumped every Friday. So my husband and I agreed to try it again. They brought the dumpster out on May 1st by the second Friday of the month they still had not dumped it so I called them, they told me that was not true they have dumped it 2 times already and would be there again Friday to dump it a 3rd time. They sent me pictures of dates on 2 of those Fridays with both times being exactly 5:36am. On the 3rd Friday they still had not emptied it and when we called to tell them to just come get their dumpster they told us they would add soon as we pay $400. They sent an itemized statement where they charged a delivery fee, 3 environmental fees of $27.00 each plus the monthly payment of $118. And they are telling us they did dump it no matter what we say. This company is extremely dishonest, they do nothing they say they are going to, they are unreliable. Then when you just try to cancel they make it challenging.

      ***************** states company created an internal accounting error that did not credit our condo association account. Company then unexpectedly terminated service by leaving full, unserviced dumpsters with an additional dumpster worth of trash on the ground next to it, at every dumpster within the entire community. They refuse to pick up the trash "early" even when notified of the severity of the problem and state the driver will assess if additional equipment is needed for any additional volume the next time they come.... 2 days to an additional week until service resumes. Numerous complaints have been made directly, to make them aware, and they refuse to resolve their problem. They suggest the association pays for an additional pick up to clean up their accounting error mess while refusing to proactively resolve things quickly.

      Price gouging. The company emailed a contract which I reviewed however not good enough. They have a clause that they can adjust the rates based on market ect. I completely agree with that and understand completely. The other disposal services do the same thing. The problem is Meridian has raised our rates 5 times in the past 8 months. Almost a 33% increase from $75 to $93.43. Review of other providers reflects almost double the rates despite them incurring the same market costs. After reading the fine print more closely there is no limit or cap on the amount or number of increases they can impose. The only option is to pay for 6 months of service in the event of early termination. Tried to speak with them but they ************ the contract and told me they could adjust the rates as needed. Deal with people fairly and within reason. Repeated increases month after month that do not align with other providers of the same type is improper. Be competitive but do so honorably and with integrity. Treat your customers like you would your own family. That is not too much to ask.

      I work for a small real estate brokerage in ****, **. Meridian presented rate changes back in 2021 when they took over for ***** **********, which we agreed to. What we didn't read was the fine print locking us into a ridiculous 5 year contract with no way to combat ever increasing rates over those years. Since 2021, our trash service fees have increased by more than 50% and we are required to pay 6 months in "liquidated damages" totaling almost $1,000 to break the contract. They have missed several trash pick-*** and ***************************, our local customer service representative, was extremely **** and rude with me when I called to inquire about cancelling our services. It is clear this company cares more about its bottom line than it does about customer concerns. If you have any other options, I would recommend you go with them and NOT Meridian Waste.

      Meridian has placed the dumpsters for our commercial building so that one of them is not usable. I have called six times over three days each time being promised service and each time seeing that Meridian customer service has failed to deliver as promised.

      CALL ***** ******* AS YOUR REPLACEMENT TRASH COMPANY.
      I can't leave you a phone number it's against their policy on here.
      Meridian waste constantly cancels trash pickup or the trashman says that my trash can is not out there when it is. I had my trash cans approximately 6 feet from the road next to my bushes so the storm wouldn't knock them over. I even called at 5:00 a.m. and told them where my trash cans were. The driver comes by and says there's no trash cans out there but that's where they've been for 2 weeks because THEY didn't pick up last week. I am so freaking done with this, I'm going to Grace hauling which is charging me $50 less than what these morons were charging me. Meridian waste has been charging me $125 every quarter. Absolutely ridiculous. Even after I told the lady that I was canceling my service after next week's pick up she didn't even offer me a special deal to keep me around she just said okay and hung up. I have been with them for around 25 years. Guess who is office manager the same lady I was talking to. Very poor customer service. I was in customer service for over 25 years and I never spoke to anybody the way they talk to me. They provide a service as I did I expect to be treated like a customer. Whatever happened to customer service I'm not saying the customer is always right but sometimes we're right and they're wrong. They're going to take the word of a lazy driver over a customer that wants their trash picked up. What do you think I'm a trash hoarder and I just don't take it out. Yes I'm a little ******.

      My service doesn't start until the 14th but I'm sure it's going to be better than what I have now. They even drop off a 95 gallon trash can at no extra charge.

      They have not picked up my recycling in 4 weeks. I call every week. Yesterday I even called to remind them to pick up my recycling today.I have been told they will send someone out to pick it up, they never show up. I have been told they will send me new labels, I never received labels. I was told they will give me a new can, I have not received a can.If I could I would cancel my service, but they have a contract with **************.I guess government officials are their customer, not the people with the trash.

      Contract is horrible! Prices is increasing every month!!! I asked to stop the service, but they said Under current service agreement. Would need to send liquidated damages and cancel notification with 30 days's notice via certified letter. The liquidated damages amount that would be due as of today would be $1031.10 (6 months invoice plus current amount due on account).Following the above is the only way we are able to cancel the account
