I purchased a vehicle on 5/28/25 a Chevy Trailblazer 2025. It’s now 7/12 and I have yet to receive the title for my vehicle. I called the dealership around the end of June inquiring on the status of the title and was told because it was a dealer to dealer trade they were waiting on the other dealership to send them the title. After another week and a half I called cable dahmer who said the dealership mailed it, but was 3 day priority mail. After the 3 days I followed up and the dealership found out it hadn’t been mailed and after my suggestion supposedly payed for overnight 10:30am delivery. The dealership representative was supposed to call me on Fri to let me know when it was received I never got a follow up call. This dealership is frauding me and I’m now paying for a vehicle with no title, this is fraud and I need it asap and I need to be compensated for all my time, late fees, and sales tax. Called on 06/24/2025 about getting a Refund for the S.W.A.T tracking and recovery system that was purchased with the vehicle. I was told the information will be sent over to Cancellations department and I should expect a phone call. I called again on 06/25/2025 and was told that the service is non-refundable but then I told the person it was Never Activated for the service. I never received any information regarding that service that was purchased. It has been since 08/12/2023 and it cost $800 but was never activated. The contract does not say anything about not being able to get a refund. It has an option to be declined when offered which tells me/ customers that it is not a requirement and is eligible for refunding. Since the service was never activated, the full amount should be refunded and not pro-rated since the product was technically never “used” like other products/services that dealerships use that are refundable. The contract does not have any terms or conditions regarding activation or service management or maintenance for the service that was purchased. The contract also has my contact information on it, but I was a Co-signer and not the main purchaser of the vehicle so that also should be reason for refund since the contract or “agreement” has inaccurate information regarding the service as well since the vehicle was never located at the address that is part of that service contract. Just because I was on the loan as a Co-signer doesn’t make it 100% accurate or correct to put either persons information regarding a agreement. Full Refund should be issued due to Dealerships miscommunication on activation of services and information relating to the agreement of S.W.A.T Tracking & Recovery system. They tried using the argument over the phone that the system was already installed, and cannot be cancelled but the contract has a few parts regarding to a deactivation check box and a waiver signature for deactivation prior to purchasing.Business Response

In January of 2025 an engine leak was supposedly fixed. On the way to the dealership service for an oil change noticed smoke coming out from under the hood. Was told by ******* ****** that a hose was tightened up and a coil replaced on June 6, 2025. Noticed on June 7th smoke still coming out from under the hood. Called the dealership. Was unable to reach Dominic so I left two messages for him and have not heard back. Smoke still coming from under the hood of my 2017 Chevy trax.Business Response

We have checked for voicemail left to the dealership and cannot find any VM left by this customer from either number we have on file. ************ ** ************* *******, Service Advisor, has left her a message on 7/10/2025 asking her when she will be able to bring the car back to us. On her visit on June 6, 2025, there was no mention of an oil leak or of smoke coming out of her vehicle. It was in for routine maintenance, oil change, replacement of spark plugs and a direct injection service. (See attached). We have left messages for her again this morning 7-11-2025.

Attached it the Work Order
that **** ******* signed showing what she wanted done on her vehicle. As you
can see, she was just doing routine maintenance. An oil change, replacement of
Spark Plugs and a Direct Injection service. There is no mention of checking out
a smoking issue on the work order that she signed. We are more than happy to
look at her vehicle and see what is causing a smoking issue, Dominic has
reached out to her multiple times and has not received any response from the
customer. **** ******* has been a regular customer for many years, and I am
unsure what has prompted her to get the BBB involved as we are more than happy
to diagnose what is causing her smoking issue. All she needs to do is set up an

On May 10, 2025, my mother and I were traveling to southern Missouri from Kansas City. We were traveling in my 2024 Chevrolet Trax. South of Springfield, Missouri, my engine "blew up!"...I have always maintained my car at this dealership and there was no reason for this to happen. A short time before this happened, my Trax was at this dealership because it was leaking oil and had to have the valve cover gasket replaced. Weird coincidence if you ask me. We were stranded on the road for hours while GM dropped the ball on our roadside assistance. This ruined my Mother's Day weekend in Branson, Missouri. I spent $800 getting us towed back to Cable Dahmer in Kansas City. The dealership assured me that the engine would be replaced, I'd get a rental car from them and everything would be covered. Over a month later, my car is still there with no repairs in sight. They've said that they cannot find an engine (it's made in South Korea), that only 12 engines are in the country and they can't get one. They gave me the option of trading it in, **! I wouldn't get a fraction of the money back and I'd be throwing a new loan onto an old one, oldest ploy in the book! My father retired from GM, I know they fly parts in when an assembly line is about to go down! They can find me an engine, whether it be them or **** ***** (CEO GM). I want this engine put on top priority for this service dept., or they can give me a new Trax or similar vehicle with the remaining balance I have on my loan... I prefer getting my car fixed with no more delays! If they have to fly one in from South Korea, so be it! Cable Dahmer is located at various places in the KC metro area. I purchased a truck from cable Dhamer Chevrolet on Noland rd the ending of last year I gave 12,000 dollars as a down payment for a 2018 GMC Denali I had purchased the truck warranty and all the warrantys I could get then I get call from **** the guy who sold me the truck a week after I had the truck telling me that I had to take back the truck because the bank didn't approved me so I took the truck back to the dealership I asked for my 12,000 dollars back witch **** didn't really gave me a answer if I could my money back then I met the sales manager ***** who started showing me trucks witch I didn't liked any of the trucks they had because I wanted a Denali and there was no Denali so he finally showed me a 2019 GMC sierra and I told **** that I didn't liked the wheels and front grill because it wasn't like the Denali had so **** told me he was gonna change the front grill and the wheels like the Denali version and I accepted the truck with the condition he was gonna make the changes the day I got the truck I never got a paper contract or anything to sign they just handed me the keys so I thought that they were gonna transfer all the paper work from the 2018 gmc Denali to the 2019 GMC sierra After having the truck for a week I went to North Carolina for a family vacation and after a week of having the truck it broke down in north Carolina the water pump and belt and pulley broke down and I was in the freeway I called **** and explained him what was happening he told me he couldn't do anything he acted really rude to me since i was in Noth Carolina I told **** that it was to soon for the truck to be giving me problems he told me to pay with my money the repair and once I get back to Kansas I was gonna get the repair money refunded I payed 435$ I came to Kansas City I waited for **** to give me a call to go pick up the money witch he never called me after having the truck for month the truck broke down from the transmission I took the truck back to theBusiness Response

The car dealer sold us a car without a valid inspection, it expired in October of 2024, which is illegal in the state of Missouri. And the sales manager kept saying it was not illegal because "the car was inspected at some point" despite it being invalid months before the time of purchase. I have pictures and dates as proof. I want the late fee and 3 monthly payments as credit since that's how long it went with my NICU baby was being transported in.Business Response

We received this vehicle from our Cadillac location and the vehicle had already been inspected. Missouri does not require an inspection on any vehicle 10 years or newer and under 150K miles. If customer would like a free inspection, we are happy to provide one to him. We have spoken with the customer at our store. We can reimburse him for the late fee if they would like.

I dropped my vehicle off for an oil change. When it was returned transmission was ruined as well as my under carriage lights. My transmission was replaced but my underglow system has yet to be replaced. I have called and placed many messages. We purchased a vehicle in November of 2022 (used). We purchased what we were led to believe as their top warranty option that pretty much covered everything from front to back of vehicle excluding common items like bulbs etc. That is how it was explained to me verbally. We had one claim about 6 months ago for a transmission that failed and they replaced it. However, we had another issue 1 month ago with motor mounts, 4x4 Actuator and a few more items. The dealership said the warranty company denied my claim. I asked why and was told those items were not listed on my contract. I had not looked at the contract since the day of signing. To my amazement there were a handful of things listed on there, but not the entirety of what was explained or shown in the brochure the showed and gave to me. The warranty company told me the brochure i have is a warranty they offer, but that is not the one I have. The dealership put a very much limited warranty on the final computerized paperwork that did not include the list explained to me that prompted my purchase. They showed me one thing, but had another thing listed on the documentation. I am now being told that the warranty that I overpaid for does not cover the $3000 worth of repairs needed to my car. I reached out to the dealership and it seems they are giving me the run around with, that person is not there and they only go by what is on the contract. Still pending further response from them as to what I signed over what I was told verbally and presented in brochure form.Business Response

On October 26, 2024, I purchased a 2023 Chevy Traverse. I signed over my 2021 Chevy Malibu. It still has to be paid off with **** *********. They assured me that they would pay it off and add the amount to my new car loan. They did, but they haven't paid the Malibu off. My name is still on it and I've been receiving phone calls and emails about having late payments. The due date was November 15th. I called Cable Dahmer and let them know that they need to pay it off. They said that there was a title issue with the state and they couldn't pay it off. They asked me to pay the Malibu payment (16 days past the due date) along with the late fee that they added and they would pay the first Traverse payment when it was due (December 8th). They still haven't paid the Traverse payment (its December 14) and I have another Malibu payment due on the 15th of December. I cannot afford to make 2 car payments. I've tried to reach out and find out more information, but haven't recieved any. They are RUINING my credit score and screwing me out of money.Business Response

I purchased a 2024 Chevrolet Corvette E-Ray from Cable Dahmer of Kansas City for $145,000 as an agreed price after contacting the dealer. The price as listed online before I contacted the dealer was $132,840, so they marked the vehicle up after I contacted them claiming aftermarket additions, although nothing aftermarket was added to the car (but I agreed to the final price due to limited availability and was not surprised with the markup tactic taken). After traveling from Oklahoma to the dealership in Kansas City by air with the plan to drive the car home (which the sales team was aware of this plan) I was not allowed to leave with the car (even though the dealer was paid in full for the car by cashier’s check) unless I paid for Oklahoma sales tax, tag, and title fees on the spot, which totaled $13,269.74 dollars, plus an administrative fee of $579.00. The car was purchased on 8/29/24. It has been six weeks to date that I purchased the car and have not received a tag or title, nor can the people I have contacted at the dealer provide an answer on when I can expect the tag and title. I felt like the tax, tag, and title charges were a scam by the dealer the moment they told me their requirement to pay these fees on the spot and was immediately frustrated. Now, I am extremely frustrated and will be seeking legal action if necessary to get this resolved.Business Response
