I spoke with several female sales agents with in the last two weeks regarding getting a car from this establishment. So ***** was the person I was dealing with I provided all information me & my co-signer. I am an BLACK ENTREPRENEUR and have been in retail sales for the last 10 years. So the white ***** that called my phone basically told me that I was lying on my check stubs I have an accountant/financial advisor who handles that part of my business. So to be insulted because I am a woman first then have no compassion or customer service skills he didn’t have a desire to help me just call me a liar so I advised to cancel the whole process. I will never do Business with a company who DONT help their customers you don’t know anybody’s situation nor life. So I will be turning this over to my lawyer & we will go to court for radically profiling me, poor service & lying to the customer!Business Response

My family has been looking for a vehicle for a bit and ended up at Cable Dahmer. The vehicle I purchased was used and not new so I expected some challenges. The second week I had the car, my family and I took it out of town. During the trip, we experiences some issues that effected shifts from hear to gear and issues with acceleration. This is something that seems to be affecting the way the car shifts from gear to gear. When I started my search I advised the associates that I was looking for something around 20,000 but preferably less. Every single car I was shown was above the price I requested and when looking online, because there are ZERO prices posted on cars, the prices online show a discount that I did not receive.
When I found a vehicle that I wanted I told both the associates I was working where I wanted my payment, and what I had to put down. (I even told them why I was unable to put down more.) I was sat in an office and the associates left to go bargain with some unknown person(s). When they came back the very first offer was nearly double the payment I asked for and the down payment was 900% higher than what I advised I could afford. I almost walked out right then and there but I had already been pre-approved by my bank at the rates and terms I was comfortable with, so I pressed on. It took 3 visits and negotiations before they even came close to what I advised them was my limits. It was still higher than anything I was intending to get. Once they got the OK, they started bringing in paperwork for me to sign but I had not even seen the terms they were looking at. I had no idea about the actual payment as they only provided a range to me. I had no idea how much the total loan was going to be. Then after leaving in the office alone for about an hour, finally I was taken back to a dimly lit room with a man, where I was shown the information and had to sign. There was no time to look through the documents or even take the time to process them.Business Response

On August 13th I went to Cable Dahmer Chevrolet with the intent of trading in my 2021 Honda Civic. After spending several hours there on, I ultimately took a 2018 Chevy Trax home with an agreement to return Monday evening with my trade-in title, my extra key and to sign the remaining loan paperwork on the Trax. I returned for my appointment time. I was left out in the waiting area for almost two hours, and in that time, the only contact I had was with someone from financing who informed me that the payment we had agreed upon on Saturday was no longer going to work and that they needed to change the financing amount to a payment that I had already declined once. I told this person that this was not acceptable as I had agreed to a final number on Saturday. To this I received some backtracking about how the finance guys in the used car area could only give me an estimate and not a firm number. I again said that I would not agree to the number now being presented to me in the waiting area and that I would only be signing paperwork for the amount shown to me on Saturday. It was at that point that I was placed into an office with another person, I never received her name, and she very abruptly rushed me through the remaining paperwork. I attempted to give her my secondary key for my trade in to which I was incredibly rudely told that I needed to go over to the used car building because she didn't handle keys. Two days after bringing the car home I found that my heat does not work in the vehicle. My mechanic believes it to be a broken blend door, which will require several hours of labor to correct. Second, the vehicle was very low on oil (and it had not been changed by its appearance) and coolant. I personally changed the air filters as they were dirty. Last, my mechanic removed a tracking device (hence the alarm type noise when the vehicle was started) from beneath the dash. I have emailed the dealership twice now with zero response regarding these issues.Business Response

July 11 2022 I stop a the cable dammer chevrolet dealer for ask for a truck I splain I need a big tuck and I want to see if I can put my silverado 2013 in trade,they take me truck and me keys and the not give back to me because they want to sale his truck to me with no chance of the have time to think about what they was offering in that moment.
the salesperson bring o me asilverado 2019 for test drive the price he told me was $38,000. those are the numbers I understand going to pay
38,000 - 14,000 for trade = 24,000
24,000 + 4,900 for warranty =28,900 + 2,100 for pay off my silverado in trade. = 31,000 + 499.95 adm. fees=31,499.95 - 500 donw pay ment = $ 30, 999.95
that is what I ask for
in the contract the add those services what I never ask.

I buy a truck for 38,000 take me truck for 14,000 and still own 36,385.95 to the financial company with all the services they make me sing.
I feel like the rip off the people because not give you paper for look before you sing in the screen.Business Response

***** ******************e tires. L had made several follow up calls for a status & costs with no response. When L & I had conversations with D requesting costs, he wasn't able to provide them. On 7/14 D called me again (after being specifically told to call L) to say the repairs would be done in a couple days & said the new tires had been installed. When I questioned it he said L approved it. He had not-we never got a price nor did he contact L further after he was asked to see if he could get cheaper tires. Since then he hasn't been available or responsive to my husband's calls. On 7/29 D called me to say the car had been ready for a week and he had been trying to get a hold of L without success. When I asked what # he called, it wasn't L's but D insisted that was the only # he had; he called the correct # before the tires were on. He also said that we were now responsible for paying the loaner car. As of 8/2 they still have the car & have hung up on L 3 times in his attempts to resolve the issue.Business Response
