      I am filing a complaint against Avon Apt Co (Avon Apartments) at **** ***** ***** **** **** Kansas City, MO.

      Summary:
      – Since move-in (early 2021), Unit 309 has had unsafe and unsanitary conditions: mold, leaks, rodent infestation, broken windows, plumbing failures.
      – Despite repeated emails, calls, and a May 20 Healthy Homes inspection confirming health-hazard violations, management has not made any repairs.
      – I have incurred over $X in pest control fees ******* ****** ******* ******* and medical costs for mold-related illnesses.

      Resolution Requested:
      – Immediate, documented repairs of all cited violations.
      – Refund of rent for the period the unit has been uninhabitable.
      – Reimbursement for pest control and medical expenses.
      – Waiver of any lease termination fees so I may relocate to safe housing.

      I have attached inspection reports, correspondence, invoices, and photos. Thank you for helping ensure that this landlord is held accountable and that no other tenant suffers these hazards.

      To whom it may concern,

      I ********** ******** *******, am sending this email to submit a formal complaint towards Woodlawn trail apartments Clearwater Florida. When my lease was in review status the front office staff was asking my daughter to sign a letter stating she was sending me $1,000 monthly when that information was false, my daughter refused and told her she wouldn’t sign a letter for that amount of money when all my daughter was sending me was money for the phone bill and affirm payments that she owed. Also money for her kids in the summer when they stayed with me. There after she changed the amount to half of that and told my daughter she had to sign it didn’t matter what the money was being sent for. I was now told verbally by the front office staff that she can’t take any payments from me. I have never had any issues with prior landlords and have always been a responsible tenant. If you look at my payment history all my payments have been on time. I have prior landlords who would still vouch for me as a responsible and clean tenant. This lady has removed me from the system not allowing me to pay the last rent and will be charging me $100 extra for a late charge when I have never once paid my rent late. I was told that they were advised not to take any payments from me until I moved out. I feel as though I’m being treated unfairly I have never been or brought issues to this property yet now I can’t pay rent and it will affect my credit and record. I been giving them all the information they’ve asked for signed off on the 30 day notice without any issues and now have to pay a late fee for a rent I have the money to pay but they aren’t allowing me to pay it. I don’t think that’s fair to me to have to pay a late fee when I’m not refusing to pay. I was told I have until the 31st to leave yet the front office staff was trying to tell me I had to be out by the 24th because she already rented out the apartment. I found an apartment and will be moving out.

      We will not post all the details here but *********** can call the office at Woodlawn Trails and the manager will go over everything with her. Assets were not disclosed other assets and income to the household. Her total income put her over the income limit at move in. Per her signed rental application she understands
      that management is relying on this information to prove household’s eligibility
      for housing credit program. Under penalty & perjury, she certified that the
      information she provided was true & correct

      I am a Senior resident. I have been speaking to the building manager for 3 months about the tenant upstairs allowing her dog to urinate on her balcony which runs down the wall onto my balcony & dripping from the railing splashing from different areas of the balcony, onto my floor, balcony furniture, & killing my plants. As requested, I've provided pictures/videos, sometimes daily. To enjoy my balcony, I need to disinfect the area to enjoy my balcony. This is VERY UNSANITARY & UNHEALTHY & have to fight flies. This is against the Lease Agreement. Each time the manager say she will talk to the tenant, but it continues to happen. I want this issue to be resolved. This is VERY STRESSFUL & IRRITATING. I can not continue to in this hostile environment. The tenant is very aware this is happening. Any help would be appreciated.

      I was approved for an apartment at Cambridge at River Oaks in Kansas City, Ks. I went to look at the apartment and decided to put a security deposit on it for $300 to hold my apartment for when I move. I was told that the deposit would be refundable if I decided I didn't want it anymore. I went to look at the unit and it was horrible, roaches' things were brokens outlets we pulled out of the wall, cigarette butts, weed, trash all in the hallways outside of the unit. I was really desperate to move because I was living with my mom at the time, and we never got along. But I had a change of mind and decided that I didn't want it because it wasn't worth it. So I talked to the manager of the apartment complex, her name is ******. She told me that she will refund me my deposit but will take up to 30 days. I was fine with that. Never received it so I asked for the corporate number. Talked to a lady named ***** *****. She said it shows that it has been sent out and if I have any problems reach back out to her. I did just that because I have not received my deposit. I have called numerous times and left messages. No response. I made my payment online through their portal on March 6, 2024.       The mold is bad enough that I can't breath in the morning. There are bugs and flies in the lights in the kitchen. There is a leak that from the living room to the bathroom. There is mold on the kitchen sink where the knobs are and under the kitchen sink. I have some mold coming out of vents in my apartment. We have termites that are tearing out my furniture. I have called them to have things repaired, but they have not responded to me.

      office. There are no messages found with service requests. I have spoken to Ms.
      ********* in person multiple times within the last two weeks and none of these
      issues were mentioned. I have spoken to maintenance and he affirms that he also has not
      received any requests for service issues. we will have maintenance go over to the
      resident’s unit and take photos as requested.

      I am filing a complaint against Yarco Management Apt. My Daughter stayed at S** ***** ***** ********** **** ******* *** 305. I knew when I went up there the apartment was a mess I informed them to clean the apartment out. I went back to the office and she stated that the rest of the refund would be sent in my name and I have documents showing that is what I was told. My daughter had passed. I needed this money to give to the cemetery. I called them about the check that was sent in her name and they informed me to take it to the bank. How would I be able to cash a check in my daughters name when she is deceased. I would Like for them to reissue a check in my name, so I can send to the Mortuary.
