      Their ATM fees are not clearly explained. They charged further fees (a use fee AND a non-member fee) after I used their ATM which ******** my account. If this company will scam you at the **** I'm sure the scams continue at every level that they do business.

      well after today I am sure I will be closing this down!!! I been a customer three weeks! yeah running run do not open an HSA with them try FSA its through Nivea benefits. they are horrible. bank is straight trash!

      In early November 2022, my HSA was sold to *** from ONB but I wasnt properly notified. Only by chance in late December did I learn my HSA was at UMB and that UMB had mailed a welcome letter to my physical address, which is not a valid mailing address. Even though UMB knew the letter was not delivered, they did nothing to follow up (ONB at least knew how to properly address mail sent to me). After this introductory fiasco, I requested a transfer of my HSA to Fidelity on January 23, 2023. On February 1, UMB notified me that I needed to liquidate my HSA investments for the transfer to occur. I promptly complied and on February 3 all my HSA assets were in cash. Then the money sat at UMB for two weeks until February 17, when I could finally see that my account had a value of $0.00 (probably not a coincidence that UMB would mail the check to Fidelity on a Friday before a holiday weekend). The process has taken such an unusually long time that Fidelity sent me warnings that the transfer was in danger of being rejected. Its not over yet and in the end it will have taken about a month.

      They have ruined my life!! I was an innocent party to a bad check which I put into my account which I did not know was not good which ******** my account. Collection ***** and I made arrangements for me to make payments on the overdrawn amount to a collection agency. Next thing I know they had my account shut down and took my 2 pension checks to put toward amount owed . I am on fixed income and need my pension checks. They lied to me and I now can not contact the collection **** whom I had contact with. They will not return my calls to work with me. This is not what was agreed upon. I am 73 years old. Also they reported me to ChexSystems to where I am blocked from opening another checking account from most banks. How cruel and heartless. I have heart problems and this about did me in. The check was intended to get a friend home from the ******* war and they said it was fraudulent which I dont know if it was or not. They made me pay dearly and my health is now failing and I am in a deep depression because of what they have inflicted upon me. Would never recommend this instituion to anyone. Thank goodness I have close church friends who are helping me through this difficult time and trying to get me established again. I will survive but will not forgive UMB for their devious practices and lowlife ways.
