    Very deceptive billing prices.. Was never verbally informed of an additional price per pound and the billing for that did not hit my card for a month. Meanwhile I ordered a second dumpster not understanding their additional charges. Now they are saying I will have additional charges on my second dumpster. The first one was just shy of $1000 so after the second I will be almost $2000 in. DO NOT ENGAGE THIS COMPANY. I wish I could leave a zero rating.

    There is nothing deceptive about the Rental Agreement the complainant signed and authorized (failed to read or understand thoroughly). Everything is disclosed and the terms are transparent.

    This company sent a $640 dollar bill after pick up of the dumpster siting a 15 cent PER POUND fee. They did not indicate any per pound fee included with the $300 rental fee. A contract was sent and in fine print, it stated the 15 cent fee. I don't know how this business is still operating, as it's not possible anyone would use them twice or recommend them. Upon calling and arguing with their practices, they demanded immediate payment and threatened to immediately report me to credit agencies and put a mechanics lien on my property.
    Not only is this company deceptive in their pricing scheme, but they are predatory in their collections.

    The "per pound fee" is listed on TWO occasions on the Rental Agreement. the complainant signed their name and initialed the terms of 15 cents per pound.

    Hidden fees and unauthorized bank charges took a dumpster advertised at $195 to a total cost of $530.79. I rent dumpsters often but I'll never use Liberty Dumpster or Small Haul again. I can't recommend that anyone else use them either. Shoulda stuck with S******* D********!

    I originally paid Liberty dumpster company almost $500 to have a dumpster delivered and picked up. Once all said and done, I didn't even fill the dumpster up halfway, they came and picked it up. No issues with the delivery and the pickup. My issue is, they sent me another bill for over $600 more. How and why does it cost $1,000 to rent a dumpster for a week. I did call the company, and spoke my concerns about how in the world a company would actually charge someone over $1,000 for a week's rental for a dumpster... I'm still in the middle of disputing the extra charge, although, now they are adding late penalties to my so-called balance.

    Horrible overseas scammers. They seem to be a middle man for companies that provide the physical dumpsters here in KC and masquerade as a KC company. They told my brother and I over phone that they are scheduled out of NY state and based out of a foreign country (they did not specify that part).

    The "No Hidden Fees" is honestly just a flat out lie. Some things were not put into words until it got to the e-sign document after giving them my card information. We ended up paying $1300+ dollars for our dumpster, which as a first time dumpster user, is INSANE.

    After finding out that we hit a dollar threshold to have the exuberant amount of money taken out in a payment plan, they took out ALL of that money in one transaction instead. We've tried getting it refunded to have them enforce their own payment plan (which is a breach of contract), and ll that's happened is they've hung up on my brother and told us they would and I'd receive a confirmation email .... two weeks ago (I have not received a refund or that email.)

    Avoid this company at all costs. Hopefully this company gets shut down.

    This is a 3rd party dumpster rental agreement company and they don't tell you this. They just want you to sign the contract and don't explain all the fees over the phone in-person. Inordered a dumpster for a client a week in advance. The day of the delivery the dumpster for some reason could not be found. Called several times but could not speak to anyone. You immediately get sent to customer service and they have no clue and lie to you. I was told due to truck break downs. It was now 1200 and I still had no dumpster nor did I have anyone to talk to due to being played on hold and nobody ever picked up. I have the call records to show it. I cancelled the order via text and got a response. Said there would be a 250 dollar cancellation fee. I ordered another dumpster and it arrived 1 hour later from a different company. Around 4 o'clock as we were leaving the first dumpster arrived even after being canceled. The driver said they never told him and in his own words "doesn't surprise me, consistent problems with them". Today I woke up and had a full bill from Liberty dumpster for 544 dollars and never even used there service. Supposed to have a 250 cancellation fee. DONT USE THIS COMPANY, ONLY OUT TO TAKE YOUR MONEY AND LIE TO YOU.

    Do not rent a dumpster from this company if you think its a local kansas city dumpster company, its an offshore company that advertises as a local business with “NO HIDDEN FEES” unless you look in the fine print and see they charge 15 cents a lb. Im an an adult and admit this is my fault for not reading the very fine print until my $300 dumpster turned into $1300. But as a first time dumpster renter, this is very unexpected. Overall bad experience with the company, considering i even called the day of drop off and asked about additional costs and it was also not mentioned. If i could do this all over again, they ended up hanging up on me after I asked to speak to customer relations over and over again. Absolutely a joke.

    Please do not rent from these people. They are a scam overseas company. They rent from local companies and play middle man. I hope they are shut down soon. They have literally stolen thousands of dollars illegally by stealing your card info and weeks or months later will randomly withdraw money from your account. Rent from a reputable local company directly and save yourself the hassle. If it’s too good to be true it most likely is.

    When coming to retrieve the dumpster, the driver hit my power line and continued driving until it snapped. The driver did not have his hook lowered all the way and backed down the far side of my driveway where the power line is lowest. The driver was then on the phone with his boss the whole time that he was here, outside of a moment when he told me to call my utility company. While I was calling the utility company, the driver loaded the dumpster and left. This left a live power wire strewn across my front yard, a dangling power wire from my meter, my house entirely without power, and no resolution to the situation.

    I work from home, so I lost hours of work when my power line was severed. I also lost the ability to work until our utility company could respond and fix the wire. Additionally, my 36-week pregnant wife was left without air conditioning on a 96-degree day.

    The next time that I received any communication from them, they delivered me a follow-up invoice for twice the amount I originally paid for the service. I responded to the billing email address they provided with all of the above information and have heard nothing back (13 days have passed). I received a text today when they attempted to auto-charge my card for the excessive invoice, I replied to it with the information in this review, and I have heard nothing back.

    I read the responses to the other complaints that have been filed against them here on BBB, and it is safe to say that this company does not care about its customers. It gouges them at every possible opportunity and then hides behind "you signed the contract" as its justification for behaving inhumanely.

    This is the worst company I have dealt with. I canceled their dumpster rental and went with a cheaper company with no hidden fees. I received by e-mail and verbally multiple times that the order was canceled. On 07/19/24 I received a call from the company delivering the dumpster I did order, but they couldn't deliver it because Liberty Kansas City decided they were going to deliver me one even though I cancelled. No phone call no nothing just drop it in my driveway and leave. I got no action from Liberty so I had 3 options Wait until Monday when they would decide to pick it up, use it or call the police to see if they could have it removed. I would never use this company and I have read other bad reviews now that I have had my bad experience. I would leave zero stars but it won't let you.
