      I went to Helzberg Diamonds around 12 pm 11/17/22 to get 3 rings inspected for warranty which usually is every six months after i took my 3 rings off i give them to an associate and he cleans them after that 5 minutes pass by and he only gives me 2 rings back, I was so confused and I told him I HAD GAVE HIM 3 RINGS NOT 2. After I tell him that he keeps saying that he only got 2 which is not true then the assistant manager and 2 other associates look for it including me... no sign of the ring, i ask to see the cameras clearly it shows that i TAKE OFF 3 RINGS then the assistant manager helps me look cause she clearly saw the footage.... no sign yet of the ring then we see the video cameras again and she says that SHE CANT REALLY SAY IF I TOOK 3 RINGS OFF. I kept my cool but was so FURIOUS THAT THE FOOTAGE CLEARLY SHOWS I TOOK 3 RINGS OFF AND SHE SAYS NO WHEN IN THE BEGINING SHE SAID YES...and tells me to look at home the original guy that cleaned my ring goes away on the other side of the store. after that, i was there for 1 hour and all the workers saw me like if i was crazy it was such a bad feeling that they saw the footage but didn't want to blame the original associate that helped me. I have never lost any of my jewlery before and never have treated like this before they tretaed me like if i was a child since im 22 years old.

      No Associate gave me any good explination of were my ring was i bought it 1 year ago for $584.52 it was a yelllow gold ring band with 1/4 diamonds and 1/4 emeralds

      ring cleaned. We have viewed the video and can see where ****** handed the
      store associate two rings. The store associate puts one on and proceeds to
      clean the other one. He then cleans the second ring and hands both back to the
      customer.
      The customer stated close to the associates during the
      cleaning. When the rings were given to him, the associate did let him look in
      the cleaner as *** ***** is also an on call associate. As the video shows that
      we were handed two rings, two rings were handed back, and there were no rings
      left in the cleaner, we are unable to provide a replacement.

      I purchased my wife’s engagement ring in may 2020 during the pandemic lockdown. It was purchased online for that reason. Once things opened, we took it in to be inspected and it was missing stones. Eventually after the birth of our daughter (she was pregnant during 2020), we visited to have the engagement ring sized and also purchased an enhancer to serve as the wedding band. The engagement was again missing stones. Both were sized but were sized incorrectly. We had to leave the rings multiple times to be corrected for sizing and stones. We returned about 3 months ago and found that the enhancer was broken by the in house jeweler and was poorly soldered to hide the break. It was clear no one inspected these rings. More stones were missing from the engagement. We left them. We explicitly told the employees to inspect thoroughly. We returned several weeks later and found that the engagement band had been altered and the side stones damaged and incorrectly spaced. The enhancer was ordered as a replacement and we have never had it home, because the engagement ring was sent out to corporate. It was returned with more flaws. The *** store manager has said that the jeweler lacks the skill and proper equipment to work on these rings given their style and setting type. He said we will continue to have these problems if we remain with those rings and with Helzberg.

      We want a full refund and have been attempting to achieve satisfaction with customer care. The store manager gave us an out of service number for his regional. The rings remain in the “care” of the *** store. All we want is a clean break and a refund of the amounts paid.

      My husband purchased my first wedding ring from helzberg in 2017, a aquamarine rose gold with diamon side stones. I wore this ring and within the first 2 years diamonds fell out 3 times. On the 3rd time the sales associate told me i can return the ring for full purchase price and select a new ring since the ring had manufacturer defects since stones were constantly falling out. We replaced the ring with a similar style *** *****, got a new aquamarine with diamond stones and a wedding band enhancer soldered on. Well i have lost diamonds from both rings, mainly the engagement ring as the prongs are not strong to hold in the diamonds. I take off my ring for dishes, showering, sleeping, gardening. I am a stay at home mom so i dont do labor work. The ring choices i have are with small stones that don't have sturdy pronges or are just glued in diamonds and arent resilient to normal day wear. One time i got my set back walked outside to my car and a stone was already missing! 5 minutes after picking up from repair! I asked the store to see if we are able to exchange the ring for a solitare since im over having to barely wear my ring. They told me they have to send it to corporate to see if its unrepairable. Im not sure why this ring is any different than my first and dont know why there is such a longer process to get my ring replaced or exchanged. Waited 5 weeks and the store called saying my ring was fixed. Im unable to exchange the ring. I dont know why im getting different customer service than the first ring. The ladies at this location are not very professional nor helpful. The lady i used to deal with was always to happy and cheerful and wonderful to work with. I dont think she is at this location anymore. My husband and I wanted to exchange the ring and then also upgrade to just a solitare and we have been told we cant exchange this engagement set. This ring set is obviously not quality or up to helzbergs standards and should be considered a manufactured defect.

      I purchased a ring from Helzberg Diamonds on line. Within a year some diamonds fell out. I contacted the company and was told to take to a store. I took it to the Springfield, IL store where I gave them the ring and the paperwork. At first they thought it was no longer under warranty but after checking the dates realized it was. It was sent away and repaired. Within a year the ring was again missing diamonds but after having been to the Springfield store previously and told that after that repair the rings warranty was up I took it to a local jeweler and had it repaired. Again within a few months 2 more diamonds fell out and the local vendor told me I should contact the store I purchased it at and make them stand behind it. I emailed theme online and after multiple emails back and forth got no where. I then sent a letter to the corporate office with no response. If it weren't for the fact that my wife is emotionally attached to the ring I would throw it away and just not do business with them again but she loves it and the sentiment behind it.

      I had a beautiful ankle bracelet that I bought on St Thomas. I occasionally get it repaired for breakage. I brought it into the store for repairs, using Helzberg Diamonds, because they are supposedly better than bringing it elsewhere. I brought it in, Oct 5th they told me it would be ready for pickup. We'll, it wasn't ready Oct 5th, but the 6th it was. I was busy that day, and would pick it up on the 7th. I walked in, it was ready for pick up. I received it, and it was WAY lighter than it used to be, and I was disappointed. I "don't think this is mine, I said". He, the owner, said of course it is. Well, I walked out of the store, tried it on, and could almost get it off by putting it near my heel. I walked back in the store, and complained. Well, it's yours, again it was said. I'm angry that a heavier bracelet which I purchased years ago, went missing...it's not heavy enough, and it's too long. I read some reviews, and found the the owner of this Helzberg Diamonds has some bad things said. BBB, can you help? I don't know what else to do.

      I do want to apologize if the repair was not ready by the promised date. There are times our jewelers have delays, but those should be communicated to you. 
       
      I spoke with the store manager and they confirmed that the original item you dropped off is the same item that was returned back to you. 
       
      Our corporate office jeweler advised that when the anklet was polished this can cause a difference in the weight of the piece as a customer may be used to wearing it when it is weighted down with dirt, dead skin, and other materials.

      I made a payment of 1,901.71 on 07/01/22. I then made a payment of 43.39 on 07/20/2022 which paid off my account in full. They refuse to report my paid off balance to the credit bureau. I have called and the first person I spoke to said after three months it would be reported. Then I called again after 3 months came and went and they said that they would make a note in my account that it needs to be reported. Well I just checked my credit report today and it says the balance on my Helzberg card is 1,968 dollars. I have asked nicely multiple times and I think it’s absolutely ridiculous that I have to ask them to report my zero dollar balance, having a balance of 1,968 dollars is affecting my credit report and they need to make it right. After this I will no longer be buying anything from them.

      I got my wife 25 year anniversary ring in December 2021, by April 2022 I had paid it off ...so I thought! This complaint is about their so called "Zero interest finance" by ******** ****, these companies need to be investigated by DTPA for deceptive practice. Their unwillingness to allow me to pay off and close my account before the maturity date without charging me the entire and deferred interest should be against the law. They keep you with a minimum payment, but I called to close the account, when I was told I will have to pay the 37. Balance but if I paid it I would owe all the interest. So they keep you in the obligation, they should allow me to pay it off without having to pay any interest as long as I was wanted to pay the balance off before it's maturity, I should be allowed to . As it turned out, I ended up forgetting about the minimum, payment as In my mind I paid the entire balance. But they said I still owed $37 and since I did not paid, they tacked on over $700 dollars in interest and ruined my, otherwise perfect credit because the use their predatorial lending practices. I was forced to send them a check for $826.15 in other to keep these ****** from destroying my credit further.
      This is not over. I will let everyone I know know of their skem. I tried calling them to resolved this as I was under the impression I owed nothing more but the lady kept me for over an hour saying I should have paid the minimum. I finally close my account but they sent me a letter saying they will notify notify the credit bureaus. I had to pay this money because my credit is important to me. They never wanted any $37 outstanding anything, what they wanted was to find s way to screw me I will file may complaints, to every social media if I don't get my credit restored and the money refunded to me within 7 days. Don't fall for their free interest, the only no interest they have is they have no interest in the client but only in their pockets..

      Helzberg Diamonds is sorry to hear if there was any
      confusion about the deferred interest plans we offer our customers. These plans
      range from 6, 12, or 18 months.


      The plans are noted in the Helzberg Diamonds credit card
      agreement that the customer receives when they sign up for the credit card. The
      information reads, “No interest if paid in full within 6, 12 or 18 months.
      Interest will be charged to the Account from the purchase date at the Purchase
      APR if the plan balance is not paid in full within the promotional period”.


      This lets customers know that if the entire balance is not
      paid of during the promotion timeframe then the entire interest balance will
      charge the following month.
      We have never heard that ********* **** denies allowing a
      customer to make payment prior to the balance being due or even making a larger
      payment than the minimum on a card statement.


      If the customer feels they were charged the deferred
      interest balance incorrectly please reach out to ********* **** ** ************ as they handle all charges on the credit card.

      I too had never heard of this either, but I was told if I paid the remaining balance of supposedly $37.00 at the time I called, because it was not the maturity date of the promotion, I would be charged the entire deferred lintetest amount and that I had to wait until the maturity date. This is not what I was told at the the store. What I was told was zero interest is the same as cash, that as long as I made the minimum payment I wouldn't be charged any interest, BUT that I could pay the balance off anytime. But the finance company you refered to me, ******** ****, said I had to wait until the maturity date otherwise I owed all the interest. They not only did not allow me to pay the balance off the time I called, but they also discouraged me from closing the account at the time I called as well. 
      Now I came in to your store and you suggested I used this finance company and told me I could pay if off anytime.That's false advertising if I could not pay the balance off. I have already reached out to these jerks at ******** ****, they refused to help me and ruined my credit. Like it or not they represent your business, to me, they are an extension of your store and services. Don't push me away like they have done if you regard me at all as a customer. Help me get my credit restored and get me a full refund of these outrageous penalties. They have a recording of my call, they know the representative told me if I paid off my balance I would be charged the full interest. I thought I could pay the balance off because you sales people told me ai could and you just confirmed you never heard of them not allowing a customer to pay off the entire balance prior to the maturity date. But they did. They said if I paid it off, I would owe the complete deferred amount of the interest. They are liars and I want my refund. I am contemplating a law suit if this doesn't get resolved ASAP.  I want a refund of the $826.00 and that a correction letter be to the credit bureaus.

      My wife and I purchased a wedding ring for her in 2017 since that time her ring has needed numerous repairs.
      all of which were unsatisfactory! Currently, the ring is at the corporate office for a missing diamond. We have made it known we want store credit for what we paid for the ring about 2,000.00. We got the lifetime care plan and since the ring is always in for repair we are sick and tired of taking the ring in and getting it back only to take it back for repair again and again... My wife is very careful with the ring and only wears it on special occasions..nevertheless, it keeps having stones fall out ..The Frisco tx store manager is rude and not helpful and hangs up on us and uses words such as okie dokie and totally and laughs at us. the customer care at corporate will not give out a district manager's phone number so we can ask for help with this ..We NO longer want the ring and demand a store credit so we can purchase something that will not keep needing repairs. Please HELP !!! The last name on the store receipt was also put in wrong it should read " Tony Bryant" !

      ring style selected has had to have multiple repairs. Our system does show the
      ring has needed a repair almost every year, after purchase.
      Helzberg Diamond jewelers
      have confirmed that this style of ring can result in stone loss overtime and of course metalwork is due to daily wear. There are ring styles that wear better
      than others, overtime.


      Store management wanted to
      assist and had the ring sent to the jewelers at our corporate office. When the
      ring arrived back, the store management team felt it did not pass the standard
      of quality we would want on a repair.


      The store manager then made
      the decision to make the exception and offer you store credit for the ring,
      including tax, in the amount of $2,173.33. She left you a voicemail about this on
      9/17 and is waiting to hear back from you so that they can assist you with
      finding a new ring that you all will love.

      I ordered a diamond ring by June this year. I chose a mounting the employee gave to me for free. However, due to some reason, I had to return it. ***** the employee said he can return the diamond and warranty. But for mounting, since it was already being made, he needed to pay them labor cost. This is understandable. But he said the labor cost is $350!!! Only for a free mounting??? The mounting is made in copper. Workmanship is terrible especially at connection. There is burr there and weld not complete. He did not show me a proof of labor cost he was charged by the mounting vendor. I felt like I was cheated. I just can’t believe $350 is the labor cost for a mounting Helzberg gives to client for free!!!!

      We are sorry to hear that *** had to cancel the custom ring we were creating. Although we did provide
      the mounting for free, there is a labor cost of $350.00 as our jeweler had already completed a lot of
      work prior to the cancellation of the order. We were happy to refund the order, less the custom design
      fee. We also contracted this work as customer needed it rushed.
      I hope this clears up any missing understanding there may have been. We look forward to assisting ***

      Helzberg Diamonds customer care is sorry to hear if any frustration was caused with one of the deferred interest plans on a Helzberg Diamonds credit card. 

      The Helzberg Diamonds credit card offers deferred interest plans for 6 or 12 months. If the entire purchase is not paid off within that timeframe then all of the interest is charged on the following month. This is stated in the Helzberg Diamonds credit cardholder agreement, noted below.

      Deferred Interest Credit Plan: Interest accrues on plan balances from the transaction date. We do not impose that interest if you pay the balance in full by the end of the promotional period. After the promotional period, any remaining balance and interest from the transaction date is added to the regular purchase balance and is subject to interest at the then-current rate for regular purchases.
