  Due to unfortunately circumstances, I can no longer afford my bill. I called to figure out a mutal agreeable solution to the 2 yrs and $2000+ penalty i would have to pay if I terminated my contract. I wasn't expecting to get out of the contract for free. I was told they don't renegotiate or terminate contracts. They actually told me they don't care if your house burns down, gets blown away in a tornado or is swept away in a flood. A contract is a contract. A policy is a policy. Not the answer I was expecting from a highly rated BBB company. The person I spoke with was nasty, unknowledgeable and unhelpful. BBB - You should look at their negative reviews on here and Google. Maybe they shouldn't have the rating they do.

  ADT has a 30 money back! Safe haven will not honor it. The sales person told me my insurance would cover the cost. That there was no contract you can cancel anytime! In all ways he lied! They won’t let me talk to him. They won’t lower or let me cancel for free in adt 30 day! They can’t honor it they shouldnt sell it. Without my insurance giving a break to help me pay. I can’t afford it! Especially for a 3 year contract! No help no kindness! No honor. Stay away. Even ADT gives me the run around! No honor

  The service that Safe Haven provides is a complete scam. They come to your door and offer all these coupons and discounts that give you free equipment. Only when the tech comes to install everything do you realize that the equipment isn't actually free and you have to pay an extra grand or two for everything. Not including the high monthly fee. Then you try to call the number on the contract to cancel only for them to be closed on the weekends. They claim that you should've emailed them or left a voice mail. There was no email that the contract said to contact for cancelation. The number they provided was unable to leave a voice mail as it auto hangs up on you if they're closed. This has been the worst service I ever had. I will never recommend them to anyone ever.

  One star is to many for this company. Safe Haven ADT is a joke. You buy expensive equipment thinking it will work and make your home safer just to find out 6 months in it doesn't work. You call ADT support and they try to help you which they can't, but they don't tell you until you complain that you should be talking to Safe Haven. All Safe Haven wants you to do is remotely fix it, which has already been tried and failed or send a technician out and charge you a $60 technician fee. Highly DO NOT recommend Safe Haven ADT or ADT.

  Company is a scam to lock you into a 36 month contract! They will tell you all the equipment is free just to get you to sign up with them then bill you with a credit card bill 2 weeks after the install. Then when you try to call them, they say too bad you signed the contract. DONT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!

  Bought my house last fall. A dealer came to install the portion that already came with my house and had me sign up for ADT right at the end. He rushed through everything and told me repeatedly I could cancel at any time with no issue. HA. In February, I reached out to ADT to cancel. I was told repeatedly I would be called back. Never was. A month later, I finally reached out to them on Twitter, only to be told I had to go through Safe Haven. I reach out and they tell me if I cancel the THIRTY SIX MONTH contract early, I would face fees. Normally, I read every line of a contract but the man had already been at my home for hours, and he rushed me to sign. I never would have signed a 36 month contract. I'm trying to find out what the fee is and now their support has stopped responding to me, which I assume to catch me on late fees. My garage alarm barely even works. I'll be reaching out to my lawyer.

  This company is fraud. They don't tell us that we are getting into a contract. I recently purchased a home as a part of tech offering, i was told that a Techinician will come and install the doorbell and tech system. However, after a month, when I called the safe haven in regards to the charges, I was told that I signed a 36 month contract(which I was not aware)

  They opened a credit card in my name without telling me. The credit card company found in my favor and cancelled the charges and the account. Now I am dealing with them charging me money every month. I tried to call ADT to cancel, and they said Safe Haven has me as being on a 3 year contract. I never agreed to a 3 year contract, in fact I told the guy I wanted to try it for 6 months. All he told me about getting my signature, was that I had to sign for the equipment, and I had to sign for the payments to ADT to be deducted from the bank. I had the bank stop deductions from ADT, but I am afraid Safe Haven is going to ruin my credit.

  I was informed that I had signed into a three year contract which we never disclosed. I was told I could cancel service at anytime and then when I tried was told that I had to pay 75% of the remaining contract. My system does not even work.

  The sales person lied to us to get us to sign the contract stating that our monthly payments would be greatly reduced after one year of on-time payments to ADT. When the year came up, we called ADT and were surprised to hear that it wasn't true and that they could only shave off $5 from our monthly payment, which was very far from what we were expecting. We are stuck in our contract or if we cancel, we have to pay tons of money. Do not trust them. Tell them to leave.
